I stared at Mikael.
"Are you saying that you thank we should just let our war kill the humans?" Asked Ki, shocked.
"Well there weak, it wouldn't be all of them it would just be a few that get in the middle. . .like the hunters." he replied back.
"Killing the hunters as well?" I asked.
"Well...only if they interfere in the war." He said.
I probed the idea of that for a second, but just couldn't get myself to think of it as a very smart one.
"I don't find that as a very smart decision." I said.
Ki nodded her head in agreement.

-Julie-"Umm...yeah." Jay said.
I looked at him.
"Okay..." I said.
"Maybe, you just need to cool down or something? This heat is pretty bad." I said, while looking up at the sun.
Then I looked down at his face.
His eyes were so pretty....
We all walked into the restaraunt and ordered.
I sat down next to the only seat left, next to Jay, smiling.
"Feeling better?" I asked, once he took a sip of his soda.

Jay~

"Yeah." I said as I stared at her eyes they were so beautiful.

She smiled her little innocent smile at me. "Why do you think we should fight?" she asked, kind of killing the mood.

I sighed for a moment "That is something personal." I murmured as I played absently with the salt shaker.

I could feel the whole pack listening, after eating there burgers, the pack began to walk back to their territory. "Hey Julie, you wanna go for a walk around town or something?" I asked.

"Sure!" she piped as her eyes lit up. Some time later when we where walking by the book story, I felt the need to spill my guts to someone.

"My whole pack was killed by vampires when I was a pup. No one survived besides, me and a few others, who decided they where going to go loners." my voice quivered as I remembered all of my old friends, my parents, my sisters, and brother. "That's the whole reason I fight, because there all the same. . .cold blooded killers. They should be destroyed." I said as hatred filled my voice.

For a moment she was silent as if trying to figure out what to say.

I nodded my head in agreement with Allie. "Why are you ready to throw away the lives of innocent people?" I asked.

"Because there weak. . .as long as it keeps us alive then where fine." he murmured.

"But, we where once innocent humans, who where caught in the middle. And this is what we became. . ." I motioned with my hands, to myself. " Freaks!" I found my voice rising in anger.

"We have have been a gift of ultimate power, there is always going to be something that is wrong with it." he shrugged.

"No. . .this isn't a gift it's a curse." I hissed through clenched teeth, as my fist balled up at my sides.

Mikael

"No. . .this isn't a gift it's a curse." Snapped Ki angrily.
"Curse? You foolish girl. We are faster, stronger, smarter and practically immortal. In what world is that a curse? We are survival of the fittest at its peak, the next logical evolutionary step."
Ki swung a fist at me, catching me under the chin and spinning me backwards. I landed with an elegant flip.
"Your a monster" spat Ki.
"I'm a monster? What about you? What about all of us? Even the werewolves are unnatural. Humans are our prey. There are no two ways about it."
"Shut up," she screamed "Just shut up!"
"No, not until you understand. There is no other viable way."
Ki ran at me, screeching something about the beauty of humanity. I side stepped and swept her feet out from beneath her and left her sobbing in the dust.

so how can the hunters kill us if they are weaaker?
aha, sorry...i'm trying to catch up.

Greater numbers. Trecherous equipment and under handed tactics. The element of suprise. In my opinion they have no honour. Unlike we noble creatures.

I stared at Bree and Mikael.
"What the heck?!" I shouted at Mikael, as I helped Bree off the ground.
"Mikael, they are still humans. So if you had a sister, and she was human, you wouldn;t give a crap, and kill her off. Right? Even if she didn't do anything, correct? That's what you're trying to say right?" I asked him.
He was silent for a moment, and just stared at me.
"I thought so." I said and then walked away with Bree.
Somtimes, I wish I was human.
Weak as they might be, unleast they weren't killers.

I stopped walking and looked over at Jay.
I had known him for quite a while now, but I never knew his past.
None of us really knew each others.
Sure, we knew the basics, but not the parts that were really sad.
I was glad Jay had told me about it.
I could see the hurt across his face.
"I'm sorry." I said, and then gave him a hug.
When I let go I said, "So much hatered is not good." I said hoping he would understand.
"The biggest thing a person can do is forgive." I said.

so basically they are more powerful becaause of the things they have...
but what exactly do the hunters do..kill all wolves and vampires...or try to maake sure they don't fight...?

For a moment I pondered on what Julie had said. "That may be true. . ." I chose my words carefully. "But sometimes you don't have a choice on how you feel."

"What do you mean?" she asked her innocent eyes filled with confusion.

"It's hard to explain. . .no matter what vampire I see I always see the faces of my old pack members, I always hear there screams of fear and pain. . .and I know that I can't do anything about it." I explained hoping it made sense.

Me and Allie walked off, leaving Mikael there alone. It was so hard to not turn around and try to fight him, but I know I would easily be beat.

"Thanks Allie." I whispered as I looked down.

She smiled warmly at me. "Don't worry about Mikael. He just doesn't understand the importance of human life."

"Have you ever wished you were a human still?" she gave me a look like she understood.

"Yeah, that way we could still be free of this war." she nodded as she seemed to stare in to space.

"I've always wondered what it would be like if I just stayed human. . .I'm mean life wasn't going so good when I was human. . .but it was still better than being in a war." I thought out loud as I remembered Michael, and all of my old friends at school.

Milo, Theo, and I walked up to the mansion, to see Ki and Allie storming off.

"Wow. What did you do?" I asked Mikael with glee.

"They just don't fully understand there gifts." Mikael noted.

"Ah, the whole humans should not be harmed for our cause thing." I understood.

Well I'm not sure exactly since Billy is the hunter he can decide what they do exactly.

I think they just try to kill the vampires, not sure about werewolves thou.

"Exactly. I can't understand how they don't see it. We are better than them. It's naturla that we feed on people. They were always going to be casualties in a war between a greater species. We are that greater species."
"What ever Mikey."
"Well anyway i think we should gather the others and take the fight to them. If they won't allow humans to be hurt we will have to attack the werewolves. But we need something to distract the hunters. Hmm i'll have a look in the library, see if there is anything there to help."

“I think so.” I said.
“Like, me for example. I don’t hunt because, even though a wolf is what I am, I feel like a monster doing so. I can’t help it. And it’s like whenever I see a deer, I don’t see a deer but an innocent human.” I said slowly.
“I guess, I’m still not over the fact, that I am a wolf. I was little when my parents died, and I found out after their death that I was a…wolf.” I said.
“And then I went to live with my aunt and uncle, and they love me like their own daughter, but they don’t understand what it’s like…feeling like a monster. Every day. Then I met you guys.” I said smiling now.
“And my world was changed. Someone who understands, who cares. I don’t know what I would do without you all, the pack.” I said.

"I know what you mean. Could I have been someone different? Someone...maybe not a monster." I said.
"Just a normal teenage girl?" I asked to myself.
