Amnash

Amnash, under the control of his destructive personality, stared at the man before him in silence. He could 'taste' Samuel's sorcerous power, and thus suspected him of being immortal - worthy of his respect. Amnash turned to Samuel's companion, who did not seem quite so remarkable, and back to Samuel again.

"You called me Champion," Amnash growled, "Champion is not here."

Samuel's eyes widened slightly, and Amnash suspected that he was about to attack him. A voice in his head, that of 'Grey', told him that it wasn't worth fighting Samuel - he did not know how powerful this man was.

"Wait." Amnash said. "You appear to be a man of power. I respect you for that. You may travel with me. But first tell me, what is that?"

He pointed at Samuel's companion, who looked too pathetic to Amnash the Destroyer to deserve to live.

Urgh, I will so kill him when he gets back. Leaving me with a total numb skulled peasant...
"Where is Luke?" Fenedir whined, as I shrunk my head down in adgitation at the noise.
"He left to pick a fight with any athority figure he could find," I said truthfully, sighing in regret that I had not seen Luke duel with the prince.
Fenedir snorted. "You know, the sarcasm wears thin."
I gave him my best, 'I will claw your eyes out if you don't shut up,' look, ruffling my feathers in irritation. This would be a long day... but the camp needed to be protected, regardless of whether I wanted to stay or not. Wordlessly, I pushed away from the brance and soared high above the trees, circling the forest a few times. The caress of air underneeth my winds calmed me, before I began my descent to the camp again.

Luke

I laughed out loud as the guards stampeded past the alley I had turned into, roaring and yelling. I had never met a bunch of dim witted people in my life. I grinned and stuck my hands into my pockets, reminising the look on Marten's face when I had beaten him.
I was so deep in blissful thoughts that I nearly ran straight into two girls, who were clearly peasants.
"Good day, ladies," I said politely, stopping by them. The women shuffled together, as if hiding something behind their backs. Thieves, probably. One of them gazed up at me, awestruck. I grinned and winked at her. "And so who do I have the pleasure of speaking with?"
"I'm Ana," one of the girls blurted out, while the other scowled and jerked her head a little away from our direction.
"Would any of you happen to know where I could buy some food for me and my friends? They're waiting for me outside the town wall." I ran my hand through my dark hair, tussling it up a little.
"Well," Ana began.

Ana

"Well," I began, "there are several inns and taverns in the city."

I had to stop to think which would be the best. I certainly didn't want to send Luke to a terrible place to eat. And also if I sent him to the right one, I may see him again later. Which inn were we planning to work in that night?

Luke raised an eyebrow, waiting for my response.

"What would you consider to be the best place to eat, Melody?" I asked her. I hoped she provided better information that I had. I felt incredibly foolish for stumbling around the name. I mean really, Melody and I were going to steal from the drunk men who gathered there as we often did. You would think I would be able to remember the name of the place.

Samuel

"Champion is not here." Amnash said. Samuel's eyes widened something, and he drew his magic to the surface. Just as he was about to unleash it, however, Amnash held up a hand, "Wait. You appear to be a man of power. I respect you for
that. You may travel with me. But first tell me," he pointed at Servant, "What is that?"

A slight smile touched Samuel's lips, "Ah. That is my servant. He was once a great wizard, but fell victim to a powerful curse. He came to me, begging me to extend his lifespan somehow, as he lacked the power to do so. I rescued him, but could not completely defeat the curse. So now, even as my power has extended his life, he...feeds me, in a sense. He is the fifth such servant I have had - that's why I don't yet appear my age."

"I see..." Amnash murmured, seeming slightly skeptical.

"Well then." Samuel said, "Where are we headed? The nearest town, or the capital?"

You should go deep into the wilderness, a voice told Amnash, that way you will be safe from harm.

"Damn it, Father Grey, what is the worst that can happen to us?"

"Pardon?" Samuel looked confused. Or perhaps amused.

"I wasn't talking to you." Amnash told him rudely.

Amnash the destroyer had been planning to rid the nearest settlement of its mortal inhabitants, but he could feel himself losing control of his body, and so decided to waste no time in picking a worthy target.

"I shall go to the capital to rid it of a hundred unworthy lives." Amnash declared. "Aid me if you wish, or take no part. But be warned - if you get in my way, the nature of your death may not be swift nor painless."

With that, Amnash turned in the direction of the capital, and began the long journey towards it.

"Maybe. I don't know jet. Where is the ball going to be anyway?"

Okay so I saved a spot and suddenly this story grew

Here is my character anyway:

Name: April

Gender: Female

Age: 19

What you are and can do: She is a peasant so she doesn’t really have any specific powers; however she can speak almost any language and can communicate with animals.
Looks/picture: Long, wavy, sandy blonde hair and sky-blue eyes.

Personality: She’s a quiet, book worm who loves meeting people. It is, however, very hard to become a friend of April’s as she isn’t very trusting, because of being betrayed in the past, though once you become her friend she will always be your friend, no matter what.

Are you going to be good or evil: Good :)

If some one could please bring me into the story, it would be very much appreciated ;)
this is all I've ever wanted from life

I'll bring you in

Peter

I continued, to no avail, to search the city for Ana. It was getting late and I didn't enjoy traveling the distance between the city and the farm in the dark, especially when I had Ana with me.

"Excuse me." I caught a young blonde girl by the shoulder who passed by.

The girl's eyes widened as she turned and found that I had a hand on her. This of course made since, I didn't know the girl and she didn't know me.

"I'm sorry." I quickly removed my hand. "I'm just looking for my sister, Ana. You wouldn't have happened to have seen her would you? Possibly in the hands of the royal guard?"

Mel~

After awhile of searching I found Haya. "Haya!" I squealed as I picked her up and hugged her. Kia sighed, she never really liked Haya, but she always tried to make sure she was okay for me.

"I'm going now." Kasey sighed as she walked off.

As she left Haya meowed and jumped out of my arms. She gave me this weird look as if to follow her. I followed her deep into the woods. After what felt like forever we came across two people. One looked like she was part cat, and the other looked part dog. "Um. . .Hello. . ." I greeted shyly as the cat glared at me, and the wolf one looked at me with. . .Curiosity?

"Who are you?" the cat growled. Before I could say anything Haya jumped into her arms. She smiled as if she knew Haya for the longest time.

Kia~

After finally finding that dumb cat I went off to the village to see what I could do. I walked around until I came across a inn. I sighed as I heard my stomach growl, I went in to get something to eat. It seemed like a full house tonight, I thought as I walked in.

Nightfall-

I smiled at the cat and scratched her gently behind the ears, completely forgetting that the strange girl was there. I didn't look up until Daybreak moved beside me. Very, very slowly, she stood up and crept towards the stranger. She had a look of pure bewilderment on her face. I didn't blame her. I had done a pretty good job of sheltering her from the world, and she had never seen a regular human being before. I stood up as well and walked closely behind her cautiously.

Daybreak slowly lifted her hand as she got closer to the girl. When they were face-to-face, Daybreak started acting...kinda weird. I understood that she had never seen a human before, but this behavior was so bizarre, even for her.

She began poking and prodding at the girl's face, pulling it and smushing it, making sure it was real. She felt her hair and examined her from head to toe. I watched her with one eyebrow raised. The girl stood with her eyes tightly shut, obviously a little uncomfortable. Daybreak, clearly, didn't realize how ridiculous she looked.

After a time, the girl grabbed Daybreak's wrists and gently put them at her sides. I walked around my sister and stood a little bit in front of her. My eyes were narrowed ever so slightly and my eyebrows lowered a little. The girl chuckled nervously.

"Um...heh...yeah..." She stammered awkwardly. "I'm Melanctha Reeves. Call me Mel. And," she said, taking a brief pause, "who do I have the pleasure of addressing?"

Mel tried to come off as innocent, but I didn't buy it. Daybreak did, however. "I'm Daybreak...!" She answered excitedly. I rolled my eyes and glared at her.

"Pleasure," Mel said quietly. "And you?" She asked me.

I felt a growl deep in my chest, but for Daybreak's sake, I didn't let it out. "Nightfall," I responded reluctantly.

Mel smiled at me. I didn't return it. Something in her face told me that she was a tad bit afraid. I didn't blame her, but it sort of baffled me. No human had ever feared me before. I liked the feeling of being feared, but I didn't want to be looked at as some kind of monster. I shook the feeling off as Mel spoke again.

"My sister, Kia, went into town a little while ago. I was just going to go find her. Would you like to join me?"

Daybreak turned looked at me pleadingly. "Please Nightfall, can we go? Please please please please please??" I sighed, annoyed, but nodded in agreement. Her face flooded with excitement and she turned back to Mel. "We can go!" She exclaimed, as though she thought Mel didn't get the message.

She smiled at us and left the clearing with Daybreak close behind. I was in no rush to go see a bunch of humans, so I hung back a little ways.

"Daybreak." I said. She turned and looked at me. "Put your hood up."

She nodded understandingly and did as she was told. I put mine up as well. It didn't make us look completely normal, as our ears still stood tall, but it helped. I stroked Mel's cat as we left our safe haven in the forest and made our way towards the town.

Marten
The prince received a thunderous round of shouting and applause as he deposited another few solid gold pieces in front of the bartender, enough to buy another round for everyone who’d managed to cram themselves into the bar. No one had seemed to notice the fact that he had yet to allow a drop of alcohol to pass his lips, but he wasn’t about to invite further embarrassment on himself in one day.

The pouch in his jacket was still heavy, and he was surprised no one had tried for it yet. Where are those two thieves? He thought to himself, somewhat confused, They seemed cocky enough that they should’ve tried something already.

He wasn’t exactly sure why, but Marten was actually a little disappointed that they hadn’t shown themselves yet.

Samuel

The capital. That would take quite some time to reach, and Samuel had never been the most patient of men. Servant’s time was running out, and Samuel needed someone to replace him when it did. Amnash’s high priest would do just fine by him. But he needed to get to the capital and steal the man’s secrets, first.

He nodded to himself, then looked across at the undead warrior, “I will not prevent you taking lives when you reach the capital, as long as you hold off the murder of any of those who serve you before I can question them.” He glanced at Servant, “But it is still many days travel before we reach there. I could shorten that, if you are willing to accompany me along those darker paths.”

Servant seemed to shudder a little – every such use of Samuel’s magic shortened the broken man’s life. He understood now that the sorcerer no longer had any use for him, and meant to replace him in due course.

The very air itself seemed to grow heavy around Samuel as he began weaving the spell. Beneath him, blades of grass turned brown, then black as they withered and died. There was no significant change, no blinding flash of light as Samuel tore open the sky itself to make a gate between worlds. Instead, the world outside a small circle seemed to grow blurry and indistinct, as though they were looking at it through frosted glass.

“What’s going on?” Asked Amnash, not seeming worried, merely curious.

“I’m distorting the distance between us and the capital.” Samuel said, in an offhand manner, “When things are ordinary again, we will be only half a day from the capital.”

Ana

"Shall we?" I held a hand towards the crowded inn and looked at Melody.

Melody tried to hide her anxious smile, but I caught it. She already had a crush on the prince, a silly girlish thing to do.

"Yes." she walked confidently in front of me.

We were both wearing rather revealing dresses, perfect for out latest disquise. It was much easier to rob drunken men when they were eager to get at you. Melody's hips swung oddly as she walked, she was new at this.

"Tone it down, Mel." I whispered to her just before we entered.

We immedeatly spotted the prince on the other side of the inn. He was at the bar treating the entire male population of the city, perfect for us. I just hoped he wouldn't recognize us and discover I was not a noble, and that Melody was not a servant.

Melody and I split up as we started making out rounds. She immedeatly went towards where the prince sat. Silly girl. I thought as I shook my head and turned my attention towards a straping young man sitting alone at a table.

*Melody*

I watched as Ana went off in the other direction, cutting off purses and bumping into men and taking their money while they weren't paying attention.

I turned back to the prince. I had to admit, he was quite good looking, but I had to focus. There was no room for mistakes.

I did the same thing that Ana was doing, and in no time I had half of the men's money in my bag. I was feeling victorious when a large hand closed over my wrist. I froze and looked behind me slowly to see the very same guard who had caught me stealing from the prince earlier. He sneered at me and pulled me close.

"You thieves never learn, do you?" he asked. I didn't have time to reply when he started to drag me to the exit. "His Majesty wants to have a word with you, in private."

I didn't start fighting until we were out of the tavern. "Sir, would you kindly put me down?" I asked desperately.

"Oh no, my pretty little thief." he said with a chuckle, holding me as if I weighed nothing. "My master wishes to see you and I won't be the person to tell him no."

In minutes, the guard was closing the door in my face and locking it, leaving me in the nicest room in the inn. I paced the floor, trying to figure a way out. Ana probably hadn't even noticed that I was gone yet, and there were no windows to climb out of. I shivered as I thought of what my father would do if he found out about this.

My thoughts were thrown off when I heard whispering voices out in the hall. I looked around quickly and when I heard the door unlock, I dived under the bed. I heard the door open and close and saw nice leather boots walk across the floor and stop right in front of the bed. I held my hand to my mouth to stifle a gasp.

The boots stayed there for a moment, and then walked away. I heard the door open and close and I breathed a sigh of relief. I climbed out from the bed and was brushing myself off when I turned and screamed at what I was.

The prince was standing in the doorway, with a dark smirk playing on his face.
We're all a bit mad...

*I'll bring my character in if thats okay*

Johnny

I sat alone at one of the tables normally I would of gone and goten drunk with all the other men but not today. After all It was time for me to pay my rent at the hotel plus damages and paying for disrupting the other guests. A lovely girl started to walk in my direction she sat her self down next to me and smiled putting her chest forward.

"Hello" She in a long slow whisper.

"I'm Ana" She said putting her hand down my back in one slow movement as she did I felt the tinest of tugs that most would of thought was just her nail catching their shirt. I sihged in my head and grabed her hand. Before pulling out a knife and putting to her neck, I had pulled her very low so that no one could see the knife.

"don't try and rob a fellow theif Love you might get hurt" I said and she snarld a bitI just smiled a bit a picked her up carrying her out of the pub when I got out into the cold night air I threw her up agains the wall and put the knife to her neck again.

"How about when we go in their we start over and have a real conversation, I'm Johnny" I said and sarcasticly kissed her hand.

"Shall we" I said.
