The others had popped a movie in while we rotated a shower. Jack came out of the bathroom when the attack came.
Asuka came through the window, glass shards flying everywhere. Sam screamed and hid under the couch. Jack shifted and Deacon pulled out his wooden swords.
"Get out!" I shouted and ran towards her landing a punch to her stomach. She laughed and got up, kicking me backwards.
"Just the one I wanted to see."
"Get away from her!" Deacon ordered and swung his swords. She blocked them with fans as I staggered back up to my feet. What have I done?
"Naomi?" I looked over and saw Sam, hoping that ASuka didn't see him.
"Sam, run to the police department! Stay there."
"But what-"
"Just go!" He looked scared, and I couldn't get the picture of his face out of my head. He ran out the door, safely away from the hunter. I felt something kick me in the back.
*Naomi i picked you instead of Jack becasue i don't think Jack is being used.
Asuka
"You will be coming with me," i exclaimed as i pinned ehr down to the ground. The two otehr guys attack me with their wooden swords. I blocked them with my fan inflicting them as my fan opened and a chain came out from it but i did not realized that Naomi would attack me.
I smashed into the wall after she had attack me. I sttod up and rapidly blocked her defenses inflicting me while my body recovered myself quickly but too quickly.
Then it stopped. I stood at the centre of the room while the two boys guarded Naomi behind her.
"Just give up," Deacon said as he chargedat me with a wooden sword. Naomi screamed at him but he did not stop. ANd what had happened was an explosion. They all cough. None of the three know had happened but i know.
For when the smoke cleared, i grasp hold of Naomi and bounded her ahnds with my chains.
"Now, you will be coming with me," i said to her as she looked at me and stared in horro at my face. My eyes were crimson, fangs came out from my mouth and my dog ears and tail appeared.
"I do not want to hurt you. I hate to hurt but you left me no choice." i said slowly before i carried her out.
Then all of the sudden, a boy appeared and strike me with a bread knife into my arm.
"Sam," she screamed, "I told you to get out!" i took the breadknife out and hurled him into the sofa. I did not killed him but hurt him.
"I refuse to be like Hinata. I do not want to go to thge HUNTER!" she screamed as she saw the otehr boys unconscilusly lying on the group.
I looked at her and sighed, "Who says i will give you to him. I may have caught you but you were not my real target. Jack was,. The one who had your name was Hinata herself and i do not want to her to capture you. I fear that it will be heart breaking. I promise i will not lead you to Hunter. I have other plans."
"Then what will you do?"
"Just wait..." i said before i led her off catching the sight of Hinata slowly apporaching teh building.
I quickened my pace when I approached the building. I recalled what Theo had said to me, 'If things start to get difficult then fight to kill.'
The time it took for me to reach the apartments door went by all too fast and just before I was about to mentally reach inside the the apartment, I was slightly shocked when the door was recklessly wrenched open and I was facing a slightly flustered looking Asuka. "What are you doing here?" I asked her.
Asuka was flung aside and In a flash a figure was flying towards me, I readied myself.

"GET OUT!" I screamed and ran as fast as I could towards Hinata. She was flung back into the wall and was falling towards the ground.
"Jackie! Help her!" Violet screamed.
A figure rushed past me and I realized that Jackie had jumped out of the hole in the wall and went after Hinata. I stood up and shivered. Sam had... had... SAM!
I turned back and saw Sam still on the sofa. "Sam are you alright?" I asked quietly.
He coughed. "I'm fine. No worse then football practice."
"Naomi, we have to get out of here now! Before another hunter comes."
"Sam I have to go. Hide somewhere and don't leave until everything is clear." Sam nodded and limped to his bedroom. Jackie flew back in and laid Hinata down on the floor.
"She's knocked out."
"If she's here, then Theo can't be too far behind. We need to move," said Peyton. Violet froze at the word theo, but we dragged her down the stairs.
"If we hurry, then we can probably-" Jack froze. We were all face-to-face with Theo holding a gun at us.
"Not so fast guys," Theo said as he held a gun at them. They all paused as some of them prepared to fight. He pointed his gun at movement with his cold eyes.
he smiled, "This is amazing, four teens in one, this will make the Hunter proud of me..." he said in delight. I stood slowly from where i lay and looked at them. Lucky for me that Theo did not see me coming. I pointed my finger to my fan and suddenly, a chain came out and attacked Theo is surprised. He flung back and i attacked hgim from the side.
He was pinned down when i grab the gun and pointed at them.
"DOn't you there move!!" i shouted at them
"Asuka, whyat the hell are you doing?!" Theo screamed at me before i made him unconscious. I stood up and face them and they moved back. Violet came out of nowhere and attack me but i shot her on the shoulder. It was just a warning. They screamed her name as she lay on the floor trying to stop bleeding as i looked at them.
"Looked, all of you, I am not going to give you all to Hunter, do you understand!"
none of them move. "If you stay here, then otehr hhunters will come. Theo had already informed the rest of them that all of you are here! Hunter will be here as well so if you don't go, you're dead and will end up as fugitives by Hunter."
"Then what will you do? Why would we trust you?" Naomi shouted
"Why not should you trust me?" i replied "From this moment on, i will no longer be Hunter's puppet. I may still be a hunter but no more shall i obey him, do you understand?"
No I didn't understand, but I guess all hunters had their own sick, twisted way of doing things.
"Let's get out of here. Grab Violet."
Peyton and Jackie helped Violet up and we took off out of the apartment building, Asuka following us from behind.
Wait if the hunter was coming, what would happen to Sam? Police cars zoomed up to the building, obviously someone had called 911. Hopefully Sam would be alright.
Once we were a fair distance away from the building, i fell to my knees and broke down crying. Asuka looked at me oddly.
"This is not time for emotion. We need to move farther."
"Shut up! Just shut up and let me be!" I screamed and hugged myself with my jacket. Jackie and Peyto came up and set Violet down. Asuka bent over and healed her arm.
"That should do it."
"Whose side are you on anyway?" Jack asked. Asuka looked up.
"I'm on my side. Mine and my sister's that is."
Deacon knelt down and put a hand on my shoulder. "It's going to be okay Naomi. We'll... we'll make it out of this," he said awkwardly. I was thankful that he was trying, but I don't see how any of this could get any better.

Asuka
it took about some time before we escape the city and the police and stop by on an empty house near the edge of the city that i used to own. I opened the door and let them in. It was pointless to go back to my apartment. Hunter would have thrashed it by now.
the rest came inside and fell down on the couch. Naomi continued crying while Violet was being comforted by Deacon.
I shut the windows for i know that it will not last a day before hunter fins me.
"So waht are you up to really?" Peyton asked as he stepped up unafarid of my crimson eyes. I hid my dog ears and tails by a hood.
"What do you want from us?"
"I want you to help me."
"help you after all the things you ahd done? Why would we helped you?"
"Becasue as far as i'm concerned, the purpose of Hunter on capturing you guys is not a simple collection he is doing. He is taking you're powers for his own use and it will not take long before he targets us, hunters."
Peyton stood there trying to believe on what i had said.
"I'll explain later," i said as i retreated to a room that was used to be a bedroom"You guys need some rest. After all what had happened today, you guys need a break."
"Can i ask you" she asked, "who is your sister anyway? you've mention that before but..."
"She was a Hunter just like that one who i obey. That is all i have to tell you..." i retreated back leaving them as i took a rest.
I woke up in the empty apartment, cursing Asuka with every God damn name under the sun. Traitor. Too bad she will have to die too.
I picked myself up from the dusty debris littered ground, cursing as I made my way out onto the street again, throwing open the door of the Crossfire Hunter had kindly loaned me. I mimicked the growl of the engine as I swerved out onto the road, the tyres screaming.
I tried my best to tune into my Sense as well as steer the machine, the city blurring into a constant grey line outside the window. The shotgun on the passenger seat bounced threateningly, so I put it on my lap instead. I hated using the damned things.
Soon, the city was far behind and my Sense was leading me down narrow roads towards a sorrowful looking house standing dejectedly by the roadside.
My jaw clenched as I pulled up silently beside the house, lifting the gun and stepping out onto the street.
Pulling back the latch on the slender gun, I shoved five shells roughly into it, pumping the slider and chamboring a shell.
The person to open that door would be getting one hell of a taste of lead.
I strode up to the door, standing with the gun resting on my shoulder. I reminded myself to save a shell for Asuka, besides, none of these damn kids was worth even one.
I knocked on the door.
The hushed whisperings within stopped, and I heard soft footfalls approach the door.
"Who's there?" came thaw voice of Jack. I bit the inside of my cheek, trying to come up with an answer.
"I own this property. Open up before I call the cops," I said in a gruff voice.
The door inched open. Immediately I shifted to hunt mode, kicking down the door with all my might, smacking Jack in the jaw with the butt of my gun, sending him reeling with a yell.
The shotgun roared, a shell bursting from it's nozzle straight into the chest of Jack.
I stepped casually over his limp body, knocking on the next door.
"Hey Asuka, I saved one for you," I teased, pumping the shotgun, a shell dispelling out the side and landing on the floor with a clatter.
“Poetry is old, ancient, goes back far. It is among the oldest of living things. So old it is that no man knows how and why the first poems came.”
i woke up from my sleep and looked around the room. All of them were asleep. Naomi laid asleep on the sofa, Dacon on the floor but i cannot find Peyton but i did not worry.
Slowly i walked out and looked at the early morning.I cursed myself.
Everything will be going wrong. I know that sooner or later, Theo and Hunter would come here. We mutst not stay long on this house. Hunter knows this place but it will be a matter of days before he could recall it.
"Feeling lonely?" i looked back and Peyton looked down at me as i sat on the bench.
"I'm in big trouble right now. I betrayed Hunter and as for you guys, i don't think you'll trust me."
"Yeah, after you guys forced me to make a creature that killed Gale..."
i silenced as i pulled the hood closer to my head to hide my ears.
"About your sister, who was she?"
"She was a Hunter who also hunted teens in East Asia but after a few years of service, she was forced to enter a battle-royale. She won of course, she was a Hunter, but she dissapeared after that. No news came..."
"So you became a hunter to find out what had happened to her?"
i shrugged, "maybe...but she did told me that if anything happens to her, i will be assigned here. So tahts why i came..."
i listened instead and heard that some of them were waking up. They'll be hungry and i needed to cook some food for them.
"can you do me a favour for me, Peyton..." i said before she gave an uneasy nod, "Conjure up a creature as a scout for as far as i'm concerned, i do not think that we'll be ehre for long."
