Crossroads

*My last storybook didn't seem to go over very well, so I'm going to try this one, and I REALLY hope it takes off.*

plot- One year. That's how long you have left. Whether it was for fame, fortune, talent, the life of a loved one. For whatever reason, you sold your soul to the Devil at the Crossroads, and now you have one year left to live.

What will you do with your remaining time, will you make peace with those you love? Will you pull all the crazy stunts you always dreamed of doing? Or will you try to find a way out of the contract?

Whatever your choice, as time passes, you begin to notice changes in yourself. You're stronger, you're faster, you're senses are sharper. And you are developing powers, pretty soon you can only come to one conclusion. You are becoming the very thing you bargained with, a demon.

Because only a demon can enter hell. And like it or not, at year's end, that's where you are going.

personality- Kade's personality is slightly skewed. He jokes that he's an idealist by nature, a cynic by circumstance. He has a somewhat morbid sense of humour that people rarely get. The best way to describe Kade is 'intense'. He's cool under fire and keeps his head in a situation, but he's also a hothead with a smoldering temper. In a way he's a natural leader, but he has no desire to be in a position of authority, and hates when people depend on him.

history- Kade's parents were killed in a fire when he was ten. But Kade managed to get his baby sister, then two, out of the house. However, not before her lungs and heart were severely damaged by the flames and smoke. Sarah has since been in and out of the hospital for years. Kade worked hard to graduate early, and help pay for her bills.

However last Christmas he learned she needed a heart transplant, or she would die within the month. Desperate, Kade sold his soul so that Sarah would live, she was completely healed and recieved Kade's remaining life span (the years he would have lived if he hadn't sold his soul).

personality- Bubbly, sweet, outgoing. She can be sarcastic and sometimes says things she doesn't mean. She works hard for what she wants. She is optimistic and always hopes for the best. She doesn't usually hate people, but some people annoy her.

history- Rachelle was born into a rich family. They had lots of money because her father owned a large company. But, then his company went bankrupt. Her family was suffering and they would have to sell everything they had. So, Rachelle sold her soul so they could get more money.

power- She can control water. She has mastered this element.

reason- To get money for her family.

history- She was always lonely. When she fell in love she fell hard. She is a very passionate person when it comes to love and will do anything for them. She actually used to be really sweet and caring.

Personality: She used to be bubbly and carefree, but soon changed.

History: She was a happy child until the age of thirteen, when her mother died of breast cancer and her father was diagnosed cancer as well after doctors found a spreading malignant tumor in his stomach. When she turned eighteen, her father was given six weeks to live, and she sold her soul. However, the Devil didn't keep his side of the bargain, and her father died in that six week span. She believes that if there are demons and a devil, there has to be angels and a god that will help her.

Power: Control over anything animal related

Reason: To save her father

Other: Up for love and trying to find a way out of the contract

history- Ran away from a broken home, was stabbed in a gang fight and left for dead.
power- Energy manipulation
reason- Revenge
other- Once he has his revenge will try to say his soul.

Gender: Female

Appearance: Long bright red hair, green piercing eyes, 5'4, thin for her height, wears whatever she feels comfortable in.

Personality: Outgoing, bold and stubborn, however she has a sweet side somewhere down there, and although she's somewhat secretive about her life, if she rusts someone she'll open up.

History: She used to have a family she loved, but all of them were killed in a car crash that she was miraculously saved in, as well as her twin sister Lillian who's been in a coma ever since. She's lived with her aunt Stephanie for the past four years.

Power: She can control the Earth element. Better?

Reason: She wanted to save her sister Lillian, who had almost no hope. On the following day she had began recovering.

Other: Up for love.

Alright once a few more people join we will start this storybook, some six weeks after new year's, which is when everone made their deals.

Also may I stress, that everyone has to have different powers. So, Skull3670, and stelagineva, your powers are too similar to people who posted earlier. Namely me and Whitetiger. You are going to have to change your powers.

Gender- Male (since there seems to be a lot of females)
Appearance- Dark brown hair, eyes of the same color, unevenly tanned skin. The first word that pops to mind when you see him is plain. He is a little taller than the norm, of average weight, and is completely forgettable.
Personality- He mostly keeps to himself, shy
History- He grew up in a wealthy family as the second born son. He was always in the shadow of his older brother, and he was never 'good enough'. He wasn't allowed to interact with other people as a child, so he never had much experience with others.
Power- Telekinesis
Reason- He wants to show his parents that he is good enough, that he isn't just a weak and useless child. He resents his brother, but he doesn't want to hurt his brother or his other family.
Other- up for love, stutters when talking to a large group of people

History: She was born in a healthy family, rich, and she was the third child. She has two more brothers that came after her. The eldest daughter, her older sister, has always been the favorite one, but she always supported her. She just sat and watch.
Power: She can conjure everything she wants, as in make a gun appear in a blink of an eye.
Reason: She loved her eldest sister very much, but when she died, her parents and family fell apart. her dad's business crashed, and she sold her soul for money. She wants revenge from the man that schemed her dad, when he was grieving.
