Just to let you know, I am trying to black-mail my sister in joining this. She is not into the whole vampire and werewolf thing so there is reluctance. Just keep that in mind. ;)

Also my sister is Dreamwalk, by the way. xD

Breanne - Fairy

I twirled under the rain. I had my wings hidden so I just looked like a normal human. Maybe a rather short human, but fairy's weren't actually small as many like to believe. Rain stuck in my lashes and darkened my hair. I don't know what it was, but I always loved the rain. I saw someone rush around me. It moved too fast for a human. It was way to stealthy. It was probably a vampire looking for an easy target. I was far from a defenseless human. And you wonder why I take the side of the humans, I thought.

The tree swayed a little and I knew that this vampire had climbed it. It was probably about ready to attack. Let him try. He would get a very big surprise. I may not be as powerful as a vampire, but I could fly. An advantage that fairy's used to escape. I wouldn't escape. I would teach him a lesson.

Arabella - Vampire

Night. The most dangerous time. I walked out of my house, a simple small house. I didn't need extravagant things. I wouldn't use to much, anyway.
I walked the woods, quickly. Thirsty. I ran faster.
I quickly got to the town, and walked the alleys looking for a prey. Someone that would please me. I was sin the mood for brown hair, that night. I walked and waited outside pubs.
Finally, when I was almost going to strike anyone who would appear, he appeared. A completely desirable young man. He said goodbye to some friends and walked away. I made my move immediately. Running faster by outside trails, I reached the other side of the street quickly. I ran into him, and led him to an alley. It wasn't even minimally hard. He was way too drunk.
I put my hands around his neck, and lifted myself to the point of my feet. My lips kissed his neck, feeling the blood pulsate underneath his skin. It smelled good. Delicious, even. I opened my mouth, and bite him. He tried to push me away, but he was getting weaker by the second. A few moments later, he was turning pale and I was satisfied. I wouldn't watch life drain away from his eyes, I'm not that kind of monster. But still, I am one.
Piglet: How do you spell love?
Pooh: You don't spell it. You feel it.

*In some stories, a vampire can take on aspects of those they drink from, like their powers, is that true for our vampires? This is important as I need a motive for the murder of Edge's parents, if it was human's they just be prejudiced.*

Alaric(Edge)-

Edge glanced up at the sound of a dull thump on the roof. Sighing, he glanced back down at the book he was translating. It was in sanskrit, and would take days maybe weeks to unravel.

Translating was a pain, but Edge needed all the ammo he could get, and some of the spells in this book were a real doozy. But it didn't seem like he'd be translating anymore tonight. He closed the book and stood, running fingers through long, silver blue hair.

The thump came again, this time from the balcony. Eyes narrowing, Edge reached for the mage dagger that was never far from his side. Drawing the blade, he strode towards the balcony and slid the door open, demanding, "Who's out there."

Breanne - Fairy

I sighed. This was a very stupid vampire. I let my wings form and he stepped back confused. Aw, the little thing was thristy. I smiled and batted my lashes. The vampire grinned, his teeth starting to form. He knew I was a fairy now. Apparently fariy blood was just as good as human blood. We were part human after all. As was this little vampire.

He was young and not worth my time. I shot up into the sky and flew off. Whenever I flew, my body shrunk in size. It got to the size of an actual fairy in storybooks. I twisted in the air and laughed. I loved to fly. I landed on someone's roof. It was probably a human. They wouldn't even hear it.

Inside I heard scrambling. I hid. I looked like a human now so that should stop any human from looking at me weird, but it also meant my hiding stops were limited. Someone came out and flicked open a knife.

"Who's out there?" He demanded. Well he would find me soon enough, I might as well tell him who I was before he found me with that knife. I didn't think he was a vampire anyway. They hardly ever carried knifes.

"Me," I called. I twisted my long hair around my finger when he didn't put away his knife.

"How did you get up here?" He asked. I stopped. He had me there. I didn't speak for a moment. I saw suspicion in his eyes and I sighed. Great, what was I goin gto do now?

Maxima~

I watched from the window as rain danced through the city streets. No one would think that this peaceful, quaint even, looking town would have any problems. Maybe a shoplifter, but no biggie. Little did any of them know that all of the creatures in the nightmares were real. I did. We did.

"Are you going to stand there staring, all day?" I heard AJ ask from behind me.

I turned to her,"Got anything better to do?" She held up a deck of cards that she'd recently shuffled. Mathias was across from her. They'd been playing poker for the longest time. Mathias, AJ, and I were the only hunters assigned to this area and had to stay in the Institution when it was break time. The institution was a sort of warehouse that had several floors and rooms.

Mathias glanced at the clock,"Actually I can think of one thing we can do." I followed his gaze. Yes, back to work! I ran over to my pile of equipment and suited up. My black leather trench coat, shot gun thrown over my shoulder, fully loaded with silver bullets, and several blessed knifes and daggers hidden throughout my clothing.

"Let's move out!" I said as the other hunters nodded and we swung the doors of the institution wide, separating and dispersing into the rainy night.

*photo of Edge's dagger, it's sort of like his wand. http://media.photobucket.com/image/ritu ... r.jpg?o=2*

Alaric(Edge)-

Eyes narrowed I studied the girl. We were four floors up, she couldn't have gotten here by any normal means. Too, there was the faintest aura of magic around the girl, he could be mistaken, but Edge didn't think so.

Nodding curtly, he spoke to the girl. "Forget it, I don't want to be involved, so you can leave whatever way you showed up." Turning he walked back into his room, leaving the dagger bare, Edge picked up the spellbook and placed it carefully next to the three or four others.

In this day and age, spellbooks were extremely rare, the few Edge had were mementos of his parents. He heard a soft gasp and turned to see the girl standing in the balcony doorway, staring at the dagger. "That's a mage blade." She whispered. "I thought all the mages were dead."

"What do you know of that?" Edge demanded, glaring at her. His blue-gray eyes flat and cold, but in the darkest depths sparked a rage so deep and well hidden, Edge wasn't even aware of feeling it.

Breanne

A mage's blade! He was a mage or at least descended from one. I stared at it mesmerized.

"What do you know of that?" He demanded. I almost smiled. I could tell this man and I would but heads.

"Ah, ah," I tisked. "Is that any way to find an answer?" I asked. I rolled my eyes. I wasn't going to tell him anything in the first place. Not that I knew that much myself. I just knew what I had learned in my many years of studies. There wasn't much on it. He could very well be a vampire and they didn't need any more of an advantage over the humans.

He looked at me dumbfounded. I sighed. How thick could he be. He looked to be intelligent.

"Fairy," he spat. "I should have known." I smiled, though secretly I was disturbed.

"Very good," I replied. "Though it's not that hard to figure out." He didn't seem to like my sarcasm very much.

"Listen, fairy, just tell me what you know and leave." I fluttered my wings angrily. They always seemed to form when I got upset.

"I don't listen to you," I responded. Who did he think he was. "You must be a vampire." I put as much hatred into that as possible. Most fairies sided with the vampires. They thought that they all had to with the other magical beings. I was one of the only fairies, out of an already rare species, that actually sided with the humans. I hated the vampires. I saw them for what they were. Murderers. Murderers and monsters. They sickened me.

"Don't try anything funny either," I replied. "I may look like an easy target, but trust me, I have my own defenses." I smiled at his blank espression.

*I still haven't got an answer to my question? :? One thing, I'm going to make so that mages were wiped out when Edge was young, as such he has had no formal training, and his powers are touchy.*

Alaric(Edge)-

The fairy had a death wish, it had to be the reason she was provoking him. Edge opened his hand and the Mage Blade flew into his hand, making a familiar slap as the hilt hit his palm. The moment he touched it, the blade gleamed a cold icy blue, the same color as his eyes. "I don't care whether you have the defenses of Godzilla." He spat. "You'll answer my question."

She cocked her head, giving him a baffled look, then her eyes widened. The stupid fairy was probably reading his emotions, they liked doing that. But it wasn't much of an advantage in Edge's case, since had almost no emotions to speak of.

"You really don't care about anything do you?" She sounded genuinely confused.

Snorting, Edge twirled the blade in his hand. "You're wrong about that. I care about one thing, vengeance, my parents were killed right in front of me. So if you know what's good for you you'll tell me."

Laughing the fairy walked around him and sat on the bed. "I'm Breanne. What about you."

Edge's lips twitched and he smiled with grudging respect, he carefully slid the Mage Blade back in it's sheath and sat in the chair facing her. "Alaric, but I go by Edge. So, Breanne, what can you tell me about a Scarlet Eye?"
