April

Great Cappy had left too. I'm sure they would return soon. Then another thought hit me. What if they weren't in this world. What if they were back on Earth with that...Carlos. I hoped they were okay.

I conjured some ice and place in gently on my ankle. It was really starting to hurt now. I didn't let anyone see it though. It would only make me look like a child. Besides, we were in enough trouble as it was.

Most everyone was asleep now. I decided to stay awake. Keep on guard in case that bull came back. The woods were eerily quiet. It was starting to freak me out. I conjured a bottle of water and drank half at once. My hand was shaking. I went to take another drink and spilled in on my jeans. I cussed lightly and brushed the excess off. The ground soaked it up greedily. Almost as if it was...alive.

I crawled towards the fire, holding one of my knees to my chest. I just wanted to go home. I wanted to get my freinds out of here. I took a deep breath. I was acting like a baby and I disgusted myself. I felt my eyelids starting to close, but I pried them open. I had to stay awake. I faced the woods and shivered. I wasn't sure if it was from the cold or from the odd vibe I was getting off of it.

Mikael

I stood up and walked over to April in time to see her shudder. Quietly i placed my hand on her shoulder and warmed her up. She looked up and smiled before something else crept into her look.
"Mikael are you feeling ok?"
"I'm fine" i replied. "Why is there something wrong?"
"You look a little red."
"Oh um I think i caught the sun" i replied quickly. I lifted my hand off of her shoulder and a spark of lightning jumped between us.
"Ow!" cried April.
"I'm sorry" i replied before looking down and seeing the same strange energy running across my hand. "I'm gonna get some sleep." With that i lay down by my rock out of veiw from the fire. Whats wrong with me?, i thought, ever since we got here i've been soaking up energy like a frigging sponge. This cannot be good. I remembered the lesson when we had leart about this. Energy storage which has reached its maximum capacity begins to discharge excess and then. And then what? And then April had started talking to me and i had learnt nothing more. With that thought i fell asleep.
I have looked into the eye of the storm and stared it down. I am an adrenaline junky and i know no fear.

"Poor Mikael," I whispered. Something was definitely wrong. I hoped he was alright. He probably just wanted to go home, justas I did. I watched him lay on his rock turning the other way. This world had taken it's toll on him. I conjured a pillow to sit on and then conjured another for Mikael. He may be asleep now, but if he woke up he could always use it. I sat it beside him and did the same for Jack, Alex, and Zire.

I had a feeling that this portal to Earth was going to be hard to find. We're going to need all of our powers. Then a brilliant idea hit me. Jason could transport us. One at a time if he needed to. I mean he couldtransport really far right? I smiled. I was going to ask him when he returned. Maybe, just maybe, we would find a way out of here.

I got up on my feet and could feel the pain in my arm was worse now than some hours ago. It wasn’t a good idea to sleep after all, not on my arm. I looked at Cappy, then Jason.
“What are you two doing here?” I asked happily. “No, how did you find us?”
Cappy looked at me. “Well, I think Jason think about you, and then teleported to you.”
“That’s right,” Jason said while he helped Lulu up.
“Now tell me, where are the others?” Zeke asked.
Jason and Cappy told us that the others had take a break and about April’s ankle.
“It doesn’t sound good,” Lulu said.
“No, poor April, I hope she’s alright,” I said.
“What’s the plan?” Zeke asked. “How do we get to the others?”

"Well, I think I could teleport you guys," Jason said. "But it will have to be in groups of two; that way I won't spend so much energy."
We nodded, and the two first ones to go were Lulu and Kim. In about three minutes, Jason was back, and he took my and Zeke right away.
We arrived at the same forest, but on some other end.
The moment I saw April, I ran to her and hugged her. She didn't got up, because of her ankle.
"Oh, I'm so glad your ok!" I cried.

I waited for the others to come to me. Simply because I couldn't move my ankle easily now. When Zane arrived she immediatly ran towards me. I beamed as she ran. I had missed her so much. She one of my very best freinds.

"Oh I'm so glad your okay," she cried. I hugged her back.

"Are you alright?" I asked, looking her over.

"Fine, fine," she laughed. she looked at my ankle and I knew Jason had told them. I sighed. So much for hiding it. "Your ankle okay?" I nodded. It was, except it throbbed a little.

"I bet your hungry," I said, conjuring a hambuger and a soda. The glass was only half full. I sighed and Zane laughed as I filled it to the brim.

"Thanks," she replied. I nodded. The rest were making their way over. I conjured them each something to eat and drink. They had to be starving. I wobbled a little. I was exhausted. I had waited all night and just used most of my stored power.

"I think you need some sleep," Zane said, grabbing my shoulder. I nodded and lay my head on my pillow. We were all here now. We would find a way out.

I decide to get teleported last with Jason, because I still felt a little freaked out about the water. Sure we weren't going to be in the water, but we would be near it. Besides being alone always let me clear my head and think a little.

After Jason took Zane and Zeke left, I was kind of regrating my decision, it was pretty freaky in this place. I wanted to run, but that would only make things worse, cause then Jason would have to find me and it'll take even longer.

Jason was still gone after five minutes, I was beginning to wonder if he just forgot about me. But dismissed that thought, Jason would never do that.

I got so caught up in my thoughts, I didn't even realize some one was approaching me until. "Boo!"

"AHHHHH!" I freaked out and kind of feel down.

"Oops. I didn't mean to scare you that bad Cap." Jason said as he helped me up.

"I'm not hungry," I said when my burger appeared.

"Just eat it," Kim told me.

"Fine," I said and took a bite, though my stomach did a turn from the taste.

There was no denying it, I was sick. My stomach felt like it was inside out, my head was hot, which for me was overly abnormal (I never broke a sweat unless I wanted to). My body ached, and my legs screamed in pain, my throat hurt when I talked, and much more was wrong. Though I didn't want to bring it up right now, did;t want to be a kill joy when everyone was so happy. I got up, and felt like my legs were torn apart, I wanted to sit back down, but I sucked it up, and wobbled with a limp, to a less occupied spot and sat down.

Though it was not paradise, it was better than standing. My whole body was still in pain. My head throbbed, I could tell I was a mess in a appearance too. But even with all this I fell asleep, my dreams were nothing.

I took the hamburger and thanks April for giving one to me. Then I walked toward a big rock and rest until it. I ate the hamburger fast, but that weren’t a surprise. I was starving, and it felt good to eat some food.
After I had drunk all the soda in my glass I leaned backwards, closing my eyes.
“Are you ok?” One said, and took a seat next to me. It was Jack.
I didn’t turn my head around to look at him, just pointed down on my left arm.
“I’ll be right back,” he said and walked away.
“April, can’t you conjure some bandage to Kim, I think she might need some on her left arm.”
April nodded and conjured some bandage. She gave it to Jack, and he came back to me.

I started bandaging Kim's wound, trying to make it tight enough to serve its purpose without being so tight that it hurt her. I'd taken a first aid course a while ago, so I did know what I was doing, but I was by no means perfect at it. She winced as I wound the bandage a little too tight, and I gave her an apologetic look, "Sorry." I muttered.

"It's alright..." she said, "Just not so tight, is all." I nodded and finished wrapping the bandage around her arm. Then I tore a strip off the rest of the roll of bandages, and used it to tie Kim's in place, again making sure it wasn't too tight.

Then I sat back on a rock opposite her, consciously stopping myself from trying to read her feelings. It wasn't exactly polite. That's never stopped me before. I thought, But then, I've never needed to read Kim's feelings before, and she's the only one who can detect it anyway. And I don't want her to think I'm prying... I smiled at her, You're listening to all this, aren't you? I don't mind.

"Feeling better now?" I asked her.

I was listening to Jack’s thoughts. And since he knew that I did, I smiled back.
“Totally,” I said while I looked down on my bandage arm.
“Good,” he answered. I closed my eyes. The pain weren’t that much now, but it were there. I wish it could go away. Then I thought about April and her ankle. She must have it much harder than me!

I saw the other laying on rocks. I conjured more pillows for the others, limping towards them. Kimberlee really seemed to need it. I could tell her arm was really bothering her.

"Would you like some ice too?" I asked, handing her the pillow. She shook her head and winced when she moved her arm. I sighed and conjured the ice anyway.

"We're all in a big mess, aren't we?" She asked. I smiled but didn't answer. We were in a mess, but I couldn't bring myself to actually talk about it. I felt Kimberlee in my mind. She had heard eveything.

I wondered if Mikael was okay. He seemed so...different yesterday. He had woken up at the arrival of the others. I hobbled over to him, ignoring the shooting pain in my ankle.

"Feeling any better?" I asked, sitting beside him. He gave me a half smlie, but I could still tell something was up.

"Fine," he replied. I looked at the ground. He seemed so distant. I knew he was lying.

"Your hair is a mess," I joked, trying to lighten the mood and kill the quiet. I grinned and conjured a mirror. I could tell that mine wasn't any better.

"Your right," he laughed. At least he seemed a bit happier I thought.

Mikael

Since i had gone to sleep i felt different. I was filled with power, but now i had a purpose for it. Every person i touched i quietly gave some energy and with each person i felt better. Even though i could sustain them on chemical energy they still had April conjure food. I suppose they were getting used to the idea and they didn't seem comfortable. Fine by me, i thought, i'll just give lots of energy to April. Still her ankle did look pretty bad so i gave her muscle repair a little boost to put her on the mend.
"Your right" i laughed when April conjured a mirror. "But oyur not much better" i laughed turning the mirror round.
"Oh thanks" she laughed. "Am i really that ugly?" she joked.
"No" i replied oddly calm. "You always look good." I smiled before turning to get up.
"No stay and talk for a bit."
"Ok then." I smiled sitting back down to talk and feeling my body continue to soak up energy.

I think I fall asleep for a second or two, because when I came to myself I lie on my back on the ground, not until the rock.
Jack had gone back to the others. They were talking lively together. April seemed a bit more relaxed, than before, but I could still see that her ankle wasn’t any good.
Was I the only one that felt so tired all the time?
I rose up and walked toward the others.
“Does anyone know what time it is?” I asked, while I took a seat next to Jack.

I was glad Mikael had stayed to talk to me. Though, I ended up conjuring a brush to comb through that tangled mess I call my hair. It must look horrible. I needed a shower.

"Mikael I have an idea," I said, a little nervously. He cocked an eyebrow. "I'm going to need a lot of power though. I don't want you to give me too much, not enough to make you weak, but we need somewhere to live. For the moment."

"You're going to try to conjure a house?" He asked incredulously. I sighed.

"Not exactly. We need an indoor place with a shower. I was aiming to TRY and conjure a bathroom connected to a rather large room. That's all I'll do for now. That's all I'll be able to do, but I'll need your help. I mean this ankle is definetly not helping me at all, but I know I can do it. I really have to try," I replied.

"April, that's a lot of work," Mikael said. I nodded. It would cause me to be weak for days, but I had Mikael to help me and we had to do something soon.

"There's still the problem of running water," he mused. "By creating a bathroom, you'll still need running water. You'll also have to create a septic tank and pipes."

"Oh," I replied. I hadn't thought about that. "I can still do it." I had to, I thought. What else am I good for. Stupid bum ankle, I thought.

"I don't know April, that's seriously a lot of work. You've never conjured half that much," Mikael responded.

"But you can help," I said. "Mikael we have to do something." He, at least, seemed to agree with that. "Let's get started," I suggested.
