Avatar: Cycle Destroyed

The cycle has finally messed up, seriously, its gone insane - big time. Avatars are being found everywhere and anywhere in the four different nations. So far it's obvious that there are a total of 2 Avatars in each nation, so 8 all up have been accounted for.

Something has gone wrong with the cycle and all the Avatars know it. They can feel it in their bodies and mind. Though they can't travel into the Spirit World they can feel it hovering close by like a shadow. They can't access Avatar state either, rendering them all basically half Avatars. They can bend all elements though.

This is set 25 years after the war. Aang tragically died in a rebellion of Fire Nation firebenders, he had underestimated them and suffered the consequences. His wife, Katara, now 39 with one child, possessing both waterbending and airbending abilities, realises that when one Avatar isn't born into the Water Tribe that something is wrong and asks her child- a boy - to look for the next Avatar, knowing that he could do it. She knows that she can't go herself, because she's pregnant with Aang's baby.

Both Aang's son, Azulan (out of pity and respect they named their son after Azula because she later committed suicide in the mental facility she was sent to. They hoped that by naming their son Azulan, it would give her name a better place in history and heart) and Zuko's son, Iroha (named after his deceased uncle Iroh) travel to find the next Avatar.

Though still mourning Aang's death, Katara knows that the peace that they all worked so hard for could very well be ruined without the help of the Avatar, and deep down she hopes that she will find the Avatar and contact Aang, as he would be one of the spirits helping guide the new Avatar.

When Aang died, though his body was never recovered, Appa disappeared and wasn't seen for days, until he came back. Appa is now a faithful pet to Azulan. Appa has about tripled in size, so the limit of people he can fit on now is about 10-12.

Toph is currently top guard at the Fire Nation Palace and Zuko is obviously Fire Lord. They became very close friends and regularly drink together. However, this story is about Azulan and Iroha, as they search for the new Avatar, or, as they find out later, Avatars.

This is a search for why things are going wrong in the Avatar cycle and why things are so messed up. For some reason all Avatars have been attracted, well, dragged by their spiritual sense, to an Air Nomad Island, uninhabited by humans. Good luck.

History: Son of Zuko and Mai. He's second son and therefore allowed to go. Really he snuck off with Azulan to go looking. They're best friends.

Name: Takizo "Tai" Kensei
Age: 15
Gender: Male

Personality: He is bold, daring, and serious, the kind of person who would put his life on the line for someone, even if he never met them before. He is also very friendly and happy, sometimes to bubbly, always trying to make friends, but not pushing it either. He can be quite eccentric as well, and go over board. ( his personality can change from one to the other in an instant, some say he has mental problems because of this)

Appearance: He has short dark brown hair, and the same color eyes. His skin is tan, but seems darker because he is always dirty and covered in dirt or mud. He is average height, and looks rather muscly (which he is). His legs are very long as well. He is pretty handsome, and usually walks around shirtless.

History: His father was an ambassador for Basingsa. So he moved to the fire nation when he was 7. There he meet Toph one day, and asked her to teach him a bit, so he learned to see with out eyes, and metal bend. When he was ten the training finished, and he had to return home again. And had a boring two years, teaching kids a few tricks he had learned. After that he was moved back to the fire nation, were he met Ang and Zuko's sons. They never became close friends, really, but new each other. He is currently in the fire nation, and only a night ago found out his avatar abilities, when he was training, and instead of a boulder coming out of the ground, fire shot from his fist.

Personality: Kai Sho is uptight and very girly. She prefers not to fight and is a little bit cowardly. She is usually shy and jumpy. She is a cluts and is very nervous around boys.

History: She was born in the Earth Kingdom in the capital. She was born in the middle class and loved to shop and drink tea. She would spend her days going to the spa and shopping. She had never been in a fight (or punched anyone before) later in her life she discovered she had all bending abilities. Her parents hate benders and casted her out of their home. Now Kai Sho is living out of the city trying to survive.

Personality: She is headstrong, defiant, ruthless, and somewhat wild and apathetic. She isn't discriminative, she is witty, and lives by her own philosophy of living which you'll figure out is not fully predetermined. She is surprisingly, easy to like. Through her wildness, she remains physically graceful.

Appearance: She has shoulder length black hair with blue highlights, she is tall and lithe and one eye is blue while the other is violet. She wears mostly blue, she is very athletic and she has elegant features with a slightly turned up nose. She smiles a lot, she's very fast, and she is overall very willowy and dignified.

History: She has lived in the place where the water bending people preside in which I can't think of the name right now. Her creator has yet to think up a creative history, so she'll leave it to the story to help you figure this one out.

Original Bending: Water/Ice

Special/Favourite Attacks: Uses blood bending. (That's one favourite.) But she uses fire and ice together and gets truly magnificent outcomes.

Other: She is Sukko's child and therefore she has inherited his awesomeness at handling weapons. (this thing recognizes awesomeness as a word!!!). She is up for love.

Name: Taiji Takumi

Gender: male

Personality:Taiji Takumi is a traveling musician. He's the kind of person who show's different aspects of himself when you least expect it. He's fun out going and easy to get along (mostly because he hangs in bars a lot). He's an easy going kind of guy.

Appearence: He has short blonde hair, light blue eyes, and his skin is tan light brown. He carries the guitar his step father Jun gave him strapped to his back.

History: Although Taiji was brought up in the water tribe he doesn't originate from there. He was an abandoned baby. His parents Jun and Aneko Takumi found him while vacationing in the fire nation during the times of peace. They found him lying in a basket crying under the Haruko bridge. The Takumi's were taken in by the boy's unusual blonde hair. They named him Taiji (yellow and silver) because of his yellow hair and the bridge they found him under was in the silver district. The Takumi's are famed for their fishing practices even among the water tribe.

Original bending: ice bending

Special/favorite attacks: He learned how to bend from an old hermit. The hermit created an form of water bending that used the moisture in the air to create ice. The first technique he learned was Galactic ice spear. Taiji is also very creative and learned to make his own moves. He also gained his master's ability to come up with corny names. =/

Yeah, well, that's where I was a little iffy about. Air Nomads . . . can be found anywhere! HAHAHA! *insane laughter* Okay, they didn't completely die out, there are some still around everywhere. You know how some traits go straight past your parents and to you from your grandparents?

Yes, that's what happened, Air Nomads do occasionally marry into other Nations. Therefore I chose to believe that their bensing powers can be passed along laying dormant for a while until it reached NOW!! AHAHAH *evil laugh again*

Name: Kairei Somia
Age: 16
Gender: Female

Personality: She is very dark and does not like to associate with people. Her trust is very difficult to earn and she does not gives her easily. She sides with who she wants to, always playing (or attempting to play) on the winning side. She does not enjoy losing.

Appearance: This

History: She and her two younger siblings have been trained since childhood to become the ideal 'warrior'. However, this training was very strict and demanding, and she really did hate it. Her siblings though that she was joking when she told them that she would run away and bring them with her, but she did so the next night. They lived in the slums of the city for the next year, until her siblings finally got fed up with her attitude and left. She was devastated and left the city, claiming that it held too many memories.

Appearance: Long brown hair that's always tied up, green-gray eyes. He's not that much taller than the average person and has a normal build with slightly broadened shoulders.

Personality: Andi is the sory of person you want around in a crisis. He's nearly always calm and treats people with respect unless they show him that they don't deserve any. Due to his family's past, he's secretive but not actually quiet.

History:
His ansestor was an air-bending girl named Ava. When the Fire Nation attacked, one of the newer soldiers found her holding the dead body of her little brother. He liked her compassion and took her alive (planning to torture her) and ended up falling in love. He pretended to kill her, but actually married her. Ever since then, the first born of any of these families has been an air bender. This is a secret that has been passed down from generation to generation.

ANYway, he's been living in the fire nation for his entire life with his family of four.

Other: He's very protective of his little sister (Kyna(Kee-na)), and would do anything for her. He's a skilled archer and has been slowly teaching himself air-bending techniques with the knowledge that's been passed down. Andi will fight for what he believes-to the death. He's up for love.

Apperance: Short and slender. Short, choppy black hair and blue highlights. Blue-green eyes.

Personality: Fun-loving. Always making a joke and hardly ever serious. She's good at bending air but is easily distracted.

History: Her mother and father died when she was a baby. Her older brother raises her and she loves him more than anything in the world. He's very protective of her.

Special attack: Traps people in a shield-type air bubble

Nation: lives in secret in the Fire nation

Other: Very caring and would do anything for her brother. Up for love.
