John

David left after Red and I got the feeling I was unwelcome with Cam. So I went up to Josh and Charlotte and Whitney.

"hey" I said joining the conversation.

"room for one more in this happy little family" I said slotting myself in between Charlotte and Whitney. Josh seamed distant.

"um, yeah I guess you cool with riding with Stanley" Whitney said.

"oh yeah I lived with guy for years in the facility, not the best conversation but hey I thought he was an alright guy if not a little bit paranoid".I said it was good to have something to belong to I hoped they had a plan.

"okay so we should probably get jobs but what about living arrangements and stuff" Charlotte said. I stuck my hand up sarcastically like an excited child.

"oh oh pick me" I said continuing to be sarcastic and Charlotte gave me a look.

"well you know foster homes, you go to them all traumatized say that your parents are dead and got dragged away by animals or something, then you give false name and they take you in cause of course it's a fake name so they'll never link you to anything or anybody, enlist you in a school and off you go, your life continues as usual well as it would for normal people" I finished my long explanation and took a deep breath in out that I really needed it my Cheetah lungs meant that I meant the best of all my oxygen. Whitney nodded a bit.

"that's okay but I think they'll notice if somebody gets dragged away by animals here in this state somebody will notice." Whitney said and I smiled.

"that's the one flaw in my plan sort of for it to be believable we need to go somewhere like Texas the desserts too vast if an animal dragged someone way they could search for years and find nothing and that's my flaw we have to get to Texas, or Arizona or phoenix whatever you pick, that's if your up for it". I said looking around the circle Josh gave a nod of his head but the others.

"Well that's all good and well, but Arizona is pretty far away isn't it? Aren't we in like New York?" I asked.

"Well wherever we are we certainly aren't near Arizona." Charlotte said.

John shrugged. "Yeah I guess. We could get to Arizona though."

Josh finally spoke up again. "Well I think that five teenagers travelling across the country would attract attention."

Josh had a point. I kept thinking. There was something on the edge of my mind, but I couldn't quite get it.

"Whitney." Josh said to me. "Are...are you remembering something?"

I knew I only had a select few long term memories. But I was remembering something. Something good.

"Danny." I said at last. "Uncle Danny. He had an old cabin not too far from here didn't he?"

Josh pulled me into a big bear hug. "Yes! We were captured in this city for the experiment! I remember it too!"

The others were giving us strange looks.

"When our dna was merged with white tiger dna something happened and erased most of our long term memories. This is a miracle for us to be remembering anything." I explained. "Anyways, our eccentric uncle had a cabin in the woods near here and he spent most of his time there. I'm sure we could find it."

"Well it sounds like a good place to be for the time being." John agreed. He seemed a little upset that his plan wasn't chosen, but hopeful that we could maybe get to Arizona someday.

Charlotte wasn't too convinced. "What if this uncle of yours turns us in?"

"Our uncle had always been pretty out of touch with reality if I remember correctly." Josh said. "We should be fine."

I smiled. I was so glad I had remembered something. And now we had someplace to go where we could formulate a better plan.

"Come on over here Stan." I called to where the boy was crouched by a tree. "We're making a plan."

"I don't know," I said. "But it's better than going to a foster home. I'm sorry, but no matter what we do, we'll never be normal teenagers. Sorry John." He looked down, I could tell it hurt his feelings. All of their feelings. We all wanted to live normal lives, but that just wasn't going to happen. No matter what, and I wasn't going to candy coat it. We needed to face reality.

"Uncle Danny is someone we can trust," Whitney assured me. "If we find we can't trust him after awhile then we'll move, but we need a place to stay while we earn money." I sighed. After all we've been through I trusted Whitney and I could see she was really passionate about this.

"Alright," I agreed. "But I don't think we should stay there too long. After all, that'll be the places they look at first. Families. Though since you and John have memory loss, we should be safe for awhile."

"What will we do when we need to leave?" John asked.

"Well, that's what I was thinking about," Whitney said. "Anyone have ideas?"

"We could have jobs and together pay for a decent apartment or something. The thing is, how are we going to go to school?"

"We can make up new identities and TRY to live normal lives," John said. emphasizing try.

I looked around at the others. I think we had a decent plan. At least something to sleep on.

Sorry I haven't posted in a long couple days guys. I have been decomposed at family parties.

Jesse

She looked at Barrick, not able to comprehend the words coming out of his mouth. Sloane? Sloane! He would blood murder them! They couldn't possibly have done this. Duke was being foolish. Barrick was the only one who would understand the Partials needs...

...And apparently, being free wasn't necessarily the best this for them.

She had done this herself. She had freed them, just for them to be regrouped together and slaughtered like animals just because what they were. Just because it was the humans that made them and regretted it because they weren't like humans. What were they expecting? The sirens wailed, but Jesse droned it out. All these Partials were going to die, and she thought she was saving them. Helping them. She thought she was doing something right.

Fallling to her knees, she pressed the button and fences became back on line. She fell to the ground and clutched her hair staring at her bright cloured shoes.

"It was me. It was my fault." Jesse breathed. "I am no better than the others. I just put them in their graves, and they don't even know it."

------------------------------------

Horrible, I know. I am out of it at the moment.

[Rello Firan - Scientist]

"Oh, stop it! Get up," Rello grabbed Jesse's arm and hauled her back to her feet. "This is why they shouldn't have been freed. This is why they were kept the way they were,"

Jesse stood up shakily, the realization hitting like a brick wall. Rello pulled up a chair and set her down, offering a lollypop like it would help any. For a few silent moments they watched the screens, fence lights sparking back up showing that the electricity had switched on again.

"It was all my fault," Jesse muttered, chewing on the candy.

Rello pulled out his pistol and began digging around for more tranquilizer shots. "I don't hate the partials, but they are my work and I don't get attatched for certain reasons,"

She was silent.

Finally Barrick broke the silence, "What're we going to do?"

Camryn:

I watched David exit and run after Red. I hadn't wanted him to go; I didn't know my way around town. But I knew I'd have to figure it out in order to meet back up with he and Red.

I turned around and saw a male partial I'd yet to meet. "Hi," I said, "I'm Cam."

"Ringo," he said, short and precise.

"Are you traveling with anyone around town?"

"No," he answered.

"I'm making my way to David's dad's deli- you wanna join me?"

He looked as though he was considering it for a moment, and then he turned his gaze towards me again.

*Is on hands and knees shaking your hand, "THANK YOU!"*

Ringo

I turned to the other partial, Cam, that was what she said her name was. Her gaze rested on mine I stared down at her, my shadow encompassing her form. A growl escaped my throat, a normal reaction I had to other partials. She seemed taken aback for a second.

I nodded, I hated it - doing nothing and going to the deli, well, they might serve some decent food, preferably meat, there. She turned around and I saw the back of her neck, her pulse.

I could sense it. Hunger growled in the pit of my stomach, but I refrained from leaping forth and digging in. Instead I smiled and walked by her, subconsciously running my thumb up and down the scar on my cheek I asked, my voice low and dry, "So, you think David's dad won't imprison us?"

Even though I wasn't looking at her, the way her shoulders locked up and her breath sharply was taken in I figured she didn't like me already. I ran my tongue over my razor pointed teeth and stuffed my hands deep down to the bottom of my pockets. The smell of food encompassed my senses.

A bit of drool ran down my chin as I turned my head in the direction of the aroma. The deli. It's odours were drawing me in and were intoxicating. Cam had paused in the middle of the road, her body still tense probably stopping to answer my question. She was in my way to the food.

I slid in front of her and spun around to face her, placing my hands on her shoulders I smiled. It was my smile which meant, 'hurry-up-or-I-will-kill-you-very-painfully'. I needed her to be there to acknowledge the fact I was with them, otherwise they probably wouldn't feed me. I growled, annoyed to the point of anger.

I dug my fingers painfully deep into her shoulders and then let go.

I could tell she was deeply shocked, but I didn't care. All that was on my mind was food and the need to stuff myself. it felt like I hadn't eaten in years.

Cam was taking way to long. I could see the deli now, my mouth salivating with the delicious smells. Then she ran after me to catch up. She had obviously decided something, judging by the expression on her face. My competitive side appeared and I flashed her a devious grin, "Race ya!"

She was sprinting now, the shock gone and joy in its place, "You're on!"

Then we raced.

We arrived simultaneously at the deli exactly at the same time. I wasn't tired, but my stomach was twisting itself up into small pieces from hunger. It growled loudly earning a small laugh from Cam.

"Come on." she said with a little smile.

I followed her into the deli, wary and cautious. My muscles tense just in case it was a trap.

Whitney

I stopped for a moment and looked around.

"What's up Whitney?" Josh asked.

"Do you know how to get to Uncle Danny's?" I asked him.

He thought for a minute, I could see the concentration in his eyes. "I would be able to find it if I transformed. But that is entirely too dangerous." he explained.

I looked to the others for their thoughts.

"Well either way we're in danger," I said. "They will be here in a couple of days."

"What are we going to do then?" Whitney asked.

"I say that we all transform. I will fly above, but not too high, to see if anyone is on our trail. I'll screech if I see someone and go to distract them. If you hear me run. You and Josh need to find your Uncle's house. Either way we're in daanger. We always will be. What's one more risk?" I asked.

Josh seemed to nod and I looked at Whitney. She seemed a little unsure.

"Don't worry Whitney," I assuered her. "If I see anyone you'll hear me screech and I'll distract them. I'll follow you as soon as I can. It'll be fine. We have an advantage," I smiled.

I waited for her response but she still seemed unassured. I sighed. We needed to do something.

I had to decide and soon. Josh seemed to be a little unsure too, but he didn't let it show. And besides, he knew we needed to get to our uncle's place.

"Okay." I said.

"Alright." Charlotte looked around where we were standing. "There's an alley over there that we can transform in."

We all walked to the alley. I noticed that Stanley was shaking pretty hard.

"Hey Stan, want to ride on my back?" I asked.

He seemed a little nervous about being close to me, but we could move so much faster if he rode on my back. I hoped he would agree.

Camryn:

I watched in anger and horror simultaneously as Ringo grabbed my shoulders and pressed his fingers in roughly. First of all, that hurt like crap. Second of all, did he not know what the hell I was bred with? If I spat out these uncomfortable fake teeth, my sharp, razor-like ones would be revealed. Right now they were itching to take a bite out of this idiot.

I let him take his anger out on me, knowing my skin was tough enough. When he was done, he walked off. What in the world was his problem? Didn't he know I could just leave him, not tell him where the deli was. I stopped myself from planning such things, knowing that I was supposed to help the other partials.

"Race ya," he said, grinning at me and then sprinting off. Well, whatever keeps his hands off of me.

I quickly ran and caught up with him. We were about evenly paced until we both stopped running out of fatigue.

"Where... is... the... deli?" Ringo asked through pants.

"I... think it's... a little over... that way," I answered, pointing west.

"Well, let's get going," he growled. He stormed off again, and I was left to catch up with him. At least I knew the address and he did not.

We transformed in the alley. I was horrified to realize that my feathers were partly blonde and partly brown. I sighed. I had always loved my natural brown color.

"I'll go on," I said to the others. I didn't wait for a response. I took off and flew into the air, but not too high. It felt good to have the wind in my face.

I watched Josh take the lead, going west. I flew in the other direction, keeping an eye out. I carefully watched the graceful white tigers run. John was right behind them, although he was obviously faster. Then I heard something that I wouldn't have been able to hear without my eagle's keen hearing. Whitney heard it too and looked up at me. I nodded and flew higher.

Then I saw what made my heart skip. It was men with guns. They weren't like the scientists, but more like the guard outside of the prision we were kept in. They were heading right towards us including the Deli. I sreeched out to the others. They took off, faster than normal. I flew higher and screeched again, but this time at the men.

They pointed their guns at me and shot. They couldn't reach. I was way too high in the air. I could only hope the others were warned. I dove down at an incredible speed, and clawed one man. I flew back up before they could shoot me.

They screamed out and I flew towards Whitney and Josh. I felt horrible. What if the others weren't warned? I couldn't worry about that. I spotted the tigers heading towards a decent looking house and flew faster. I was going to have to touch down soon, but I needed to be farther away from the men. They couldn't follow us.

I flew faster than I had since my change and the men disappered. I started dropping, but I was close enough to the house to walk. I knew where it was now. I touched down and transformed into a human. I was exhausted.

I walked towards the others. I couldn't wait until we got to this man's house. And I hoped he had a nice bed.
