So I'm guessing a sky shade encounter this time, awesome!

So who will I be fighting, Kuzna?

I'm not gonna post anything, because I just did, and don't want to be controlling my group, totally.

Yep it's good to be back!

Violet~

"Got it!" I smiled as I ran towards my opponent then, suddenly without warning the girl diessapeared into the shadows of the trees.

"Hunny where'd ja go?" I spun around as I heard her coming from behind.

Crap, she is a shadow user and I couldn't do anything. shadows are cold and I can't work off of that, well duh I am a heat user. She kept pushing me farther and farther into the depths of the forest and completely out of sight of the others. I tried to talk to the tall girl but she either shrugged or didn't respond at all. At one point I was pressed against a tree, a very damp tree. It's bitter sweet smell went through my nostrils and I noticed it instantly, the red head was still charging but I thought no matter.

"The Volvier tree, also known as the "Boomer", was brought here by some northerners. It grows in the shade and is quite rare." An old teachers voice echoed through her mind.

The tree sure wasn't rare here, they were surrounded by them and the other girl had not taken notice. She just needed sunlight but how..? She then looked up, noticing the large canopy of vines that was the reason for the shade.

"Heh." She smiled at the girl and darted upward through a small opening towards the end of the canopy, she shot lightning as she jumped far above the canopy making an "o". The canopy fell with a crash, she didn't want to kill the girl and luckily it wasn't the Volvier's high season, only the leaves a would explode it may leave a few burns and at most stun her but she could still consider the fight a "win".

She landed on a nearby non-volvier tree and looked at her work in progress, if the Boomer was hit by sunlight it would well, explode. She sprinted back to where she had left Cole and Itachi.

God I missed Alot, so this may be a very very long post detailing my fights etc. oh, btw, Itachi is pretty strong with ninjutsu, he just doesnt use it as much. when he does, its normally close range attacks. He is very offensive, but extremely well balanced.

Itachi~~

This was turning into a regulat nightmare. The guy I was fighting was using blood weapons. I had heard of it distinctly, but I didn't have much information.

I cursed as the blade came towards me. I couldn't block it, so I jumped backwards. The blade shot out at me and knicked my shirt.

I had been using Taijutsu the whole fight, but it looked like I would have to go into ninjutsu. I really didn't want to. News would travel fast, and it was valuble to have secrets.

We stared at each other from different branches. He was grinning like a maniac even though he had a large cut on his head and a couple on his arms. I was scratched all over, but nothing serious.

He readied himself to atack but then shrugged and backed off.

"Ill see you later Sword Boy." He said with a smirk as he dropped back to the forest floor.

I waited for a second and then ran off to find the others. I didn't know why he had ran off, but I wasn't going to count my blessings.

We camped and set up a tripwire trap. I was guard, and before I knew it there was yet another fight. Does this shit ever end?

He came forward fast with a sword out. By the way he held it I could tell he was an amature. I sighed and parried his attack, drawing my blade along his leg so that he fell to the ground.

Even as I watched though the cut reformed. I cussed. Thats why he wasnt good. he'd never needed to be. Our blades met a couple more times then I pushed him back. He was breathing hard. So hes week too, not really worth my time. I focussed energy into my hand. The fire wrapped around my mark and amplified. I'd heard of the chidori, but since I wasn't very adept with lightning, I adapted it to fire. The black fire rolled up my arm in waves. The man's eyes went wide as he realized what I was.

"I assume you've heard of the Demon Born?"

He nodded.

"Well good."

I sprang forward as fast as I could and he barely flinched before my flist went through his side. As I passed I whispered, "Heal this."

I stood up and looked at the body next to me. He was alive, but barely, far beyond the limit of his blood line ability to heal.

I sighed and re-wrapped my arm. I hated doing that. Cole was finishing up his fight nicely, even if he was tired, so I went and took the tea off the fire.

*Ill be writing alot more, so lets get everyone involved.*

Rider I just want to run this by you, sense Itatchi is a swordsmen too.

Me and DSF were discussing some stuff, two things just want to say

1: Can we fight in the 4th round of the exams

and

2: can there be a 7 shinobi swordsmen of the sky, I want Cole to join it if there can be one, bring in the fighting with Korah and Cole.

there can be, but just a hint, there wont be a tournament style thing

Ridersofdamar, I think you might be really confused or something, or maybe I was just by your post. So... who were you fighting in that post? if it was Tezuka with the bloodline ability then your post doesn't follow anything that already happened so i will need you to edit it or something.

So Tezuka is a VERY good Taijutsu fighter, not weak in the least bit when it comes to fighting with swords or weapons or anything of that matter. His ability just allows him to fight differently since his blood weapons are stronger and more unique then other ones... blah blah blah. I don't want to go into it all but after Tezuka and Itachi fought for a bit Korah and Cole finished their fight with Korah winning (barley, Cole is amazing) and then the others left without many wounds sustained. So maybe you were referring to another fight or something? I'm not sure.

Oooo and there won't be a tournament style thing? I am truly interested in what it will all be...

the beginning paragraph was Tezuka, then he went away, then I had a little sentance about making camp and setting the trap, and then there was the fight with the guy who controlled gravity. I had no actual fighting with Tezuka.

Rider, can I post starting the battle between use and Incognito and Billy's characters.

Also who do you want to fight, cause I'll do that to, I think Cole and Kuzan should fight.

No its fine Ridersofdamar, I just totally misread what you were wrote, and I totally understand the doing homework while being distracted... I do it all the time.

Oh so after talking with boltageman, he pointed out, and after looking it over again I agreed, that my sword is a little TO powerful. So I changed it to this...

Seventh Sword of the Mist: Benihime
Type: Katana
Ability: When Benihime slices or stabs someone she immediately begins to absorb their chakra at a steady rate, and the longer she is touching the person she will continue to drain their chakra, weakening them. The sword will beging to glow and pulse with red light as the sword absorbs chakra. The wielder is able to use the sword as a focal point, using the drained chakra to add to their jutsus, allowing them to do attacks or jutsus that would have other wise been impossible for them.

Korah

Korah paused as he slowly reached the top of the hill. Looking over he saw that they were maybe a half an hour away from the temple, and from the looks of things they might actually be the first group. Well they wouldn't have been, they had caught up with another team just a few minutes ago, and they would have lost to them, of course they could never have allowed that.

Casting a quick glance over his shoulder Korah grinned as he watched Tezuka yank his sharp fangs from a young girls neck. Wiping the blood from his mouth Tezuka slowly let the young girl drop from his arms as he reached into his coat and withdrew several small vials. Placing them by the young girls neck he gently squeezed until each capsule was full before he gently capped them and released the girl, letting her slump down to the floor. "Don't worry," he drawled as he sauntered over to Korah, "She's not dead, though she will be out for a while."

Korah didn't reply, he just glanced over at Vera who was walking away from two other bodies that lay a little distance away. In her hand she held three scrolls which she tossed over to Korah. Korah's hand flicked out as he easily got each scroll. "My, look what we have here," he whispered as he turned and tossed them down the hill.

As they fell he slowly raised his hand in the air, his eyes narrowing into slits as the temperature seemed to drop a couple of degrees in the area. A small sliver of water slowly raised out of the ground as Korah extended his hand and pointed at the scrolls that were spiraling toward the ground. "Ice Release," he whispered as the water suddenly extended and turned into long thin needles before shooting forward.

They punched into the scrolls with a snap as the scrolls were instantly incased in ice before shattering into thousands of pieces. "That is one more team out of the running," Korah whispered with a grin, "Now let's go."

Turning him and his team glided down the hill and soon were at the entrance to the tower. Two Shade Ninja stood at the door, and as Korah and his team approached they extended their hands while ordered, "Stop right there, where are your scrolls?"

Smirking Korah reached down and grabbed the scrolls out of his cloak before tossing them at the guards. "Congrats," the guard said, "Your the first team to arrive. Not the fastest time we've ever had, but well done still, you may go through."

"Mmmm... thanks," Vera hummed, winking at the guards as they walked through.

As they headed through Korah couldn't help but chuckle darkly to himself. They were through the second part, only one more to go...

I'll just start us off.
By any chance can we win this fight Billy, Incognito. We did just lose, badly.
I won't make use win yet though

Cole~~

"We need to rest again," Violet said, "I'll keep watch this time."

"Thanks," I said and collapsed on the ground.

After a dreamless Rem cycle I was awoken.

"Time to go," I heard Itachi's voice say from what seemed like a mile away.

Slowly I pushed my self up, I saw I had, had some medical work done, I was bandaged, and Violet has given me a good charge.

"Thanks for the charge V, that'll kick start the healing," I said and yawned near the end.

"So one more scroll, Earth and we are done," I said as we took off, " I thin k we should get near the tower, rest a bit, maybe we will run into someone there."

"Okay," The others said, there was really no right way to do this.

In what felt like about 5 hours we took another rest, they let me sleep again, sense I needed the most rest. Then we took off again, after another five hours we rested, I slept again. Finally after that I felt kind of good to fight, hopefully I would be able to, and I needed to now.

Because right then there was a crash and we stopped dead in our tracks, my hands flying to my blades right away.

"Hey its you," I heard the familiar voice of the shade girl from the first exam.

"Yep. I was hoping to fight you, wanted to kick your ass for awhile," I said.

"To bad that won't happen," She shouted and shot a fireball at me.

I dodged it and ran back a bit separating my self from the rest of the group.

"Well time to play," I said.

"Guess so," she said and charged.

Unsheathing my swords, I stabbed at her, she dodged it, and then came from above, fire radiating from her foot. Before she knew It I was gone though, hidden behind a tree.

"Lightning shoes," I whispered, and sent a rush into my body, I would need speed for her, epically in my state.

Without another thought I ran out from my spot,. sending a kick into the girl's back, she went forward, stopped on a branch, then right before I was going to hit her, sent a kick to my gut. I flew back, but using my sword, and a thing electric thread, swung up, and sent my foot upward, colliding with her chin. Hanking out my sword I went down, grabbing her foot first, I sent her with me. Just when I was about to throw here down, she flames her foot, got me to release her and got out, sending a foot on to the top of my head.

Crashing hard into the ground, I planted my swords in as I went. Quickly I made the Snake, Monkey and Bird seals, grabbed the swords and sent a charge on them. The girl landed on the ground, and a second later she was sent back up in a geyser of lightning and chakara. After the first one she grabbed a branch came down, and sent a jet of flame at me. Still stuck to me swords, as I always was for a few seconds after this attack, she hit me. I went back hard, my swords with me.

This was going to be harder then I thought.

Incognito- Don't make Cole to weak, just make him seem to be slight pain when he uses a lightning attack, but fine when using taijutsu.

**Alright, as long as Incognito's got no problem with it, neither do I. Although, I would like them to be at least left with the Heaven scroll. One of them can probably just bluff them into thinking that they only had the Earth Scroll. And since Violet seems to be fighting Suika, if I read the last post right, I guess I'll be putting Shinjiro against Itachi. And Riders, I'm having Shinjiro hold off on his bloodline technique for the time being.**

Shinjiro

Suika had already vanished into the forest with one of their opponents, blending into the shadows. He watched, calm but a little annoyed, as Kazuna chased the sky-nin deeper into the forest, yelling obscenities, threats and fireballs at him. He shut his eyes tightly against the bright bursts of fire. Well, if she's going to play that way, then I'm not going to help her, Shinjiro thought, looking out for himself as always.

When the bursts died down, Shinjiro opened his eyes to see a sword-wielding boy charging at him. A mark on his arm was glowing a little, and fire was beginning to ignite in his hands.

Shinjiro's eyes narrowed a little at the sight of those flames. Fantastic. He thought, drily, Kazuna takes her fire away, and I get stuck with someone just as bad as her.

He blocked the boy's sword attack with his spears, then leapt back. He stabbed his spears into the ground as he landed, making a quick series of hand signs, a technique Koka-sensei had taught him to help him spar with Kazuna. Blindsense Technique! He thought, closing his eyes. Suddenly, his other senses were heightened, and he could smell and heard his opponent, as well as the vibrations of his feet.

Shinjiro kept his eyes closed, needing to protect them from the brightness of the fire. He dodged to one side as the boy closed with him. It was almost impossible to sense the sword, just a tiny vibration warning him. He had to keep away, and all his attacks were going to be less accurate now. Fighting blind was not easy.

He started to run in a wide, rapid circle around the boy, drawing several shuriken and kunai and throwing them at what seemed like a constant speed. But the Blindsense Jutsu was slowly and surely draining his chakra. Sooner or later, he'd need to open his eyes. But maybe he'd be able to beat the fire-wielder without his Shadow Jump, which he'd already resolved not to use unless his life or position in the exam was in peril.

Yay we made it to post 100! Unfortunately Bill got it before me…, but I am happy for 101

Korah

Korah slowly yanked the rusty metal door open, wincing at the awful sound the hinges emanated as he pulled it open and stepped through onto the tower roof. Bright sunlight greeted his arrival, causing him to squint his eyes as they adjusted to the light. Stepping forward he looked over to where Vera sat on the ground. She was lying on her back, face turned toward the sky as she soaked up the rays of sun shining from up above.

“Beautiful day, huh Korah,” she called as she lazily rolled over onto her stomach and looked over at him.

“Yes it is,” Korah answered as he walked to the towers edge and looked off to the forest beyond. The large trees surrounded them on all sides, and not to far away he could see the creek running and bubbling along. Out there were the rest of the teams, only seven were guaranteed to pass these exams, and he doubted there would even be that many.

A sudden gust of wind tossed his thin white hair to the side as his cloak fluttered and waved in the breeze. a small shudder worked its way down his spine. He sensed something... was it chakra... but just as quickly as he felt it the breeze disappeared and the feeling along with it. “Where’s Tezuka?” he asked, turning to glance at Vera who was once more tanning.

“He should be up here soon,” Vera murmured, “I already etched out the seal on the ground, so as soon as he gets here we can activate the Jutsu. You placed the Markers around the tower, didn’t you?”

Korah nodded, “Yep, if everything happens as plans all the groups should meet up around here. It’s almost the third day so they are all running out of time anyways.”

“I’m here!” a voice suddenly declared as the old metal door once again opened with a screech and Tezuka same stumbling onto the roof. His face was covered in lipstick and his clothes were ruffled and in disarray. “Sorry I’m later,” he added, “There was a really cute nurse in the doctors office.”

Korah just grinned, slightly rolling his eyes as he walked to the middle of the roof where a triangle shaped rune had been etched into the floor. Vera got up as well and soon each of them were seated at one of the triangle corners. Crossing their legs they all held up a finger before whispering, “Activate!”

At once a pale blue light began to glow from the Rune, rising from the lines as Vera said, “Do it now Korah.” Nodding, Korah stretched out his hand and a large puddle of water rose form the floor and drifted into the middle of the Rune where it immediately began to float and lengthen, flattening out slowly freezing until it formed a sort of mirror. “Just hold it right there,” Vera said to Korah and Tezuka as she quickly made some hand signs before saying, “Oracle’s Mirror Technique!”

At once the ice mirror began to glow and faint images could be seen moving around. As the images began to clear they could soon see 6 ninja engaged in combat. One of them was the team they had beat before, from the land of the sky. While the other was a Shade Ninja team, and from the looks of it all they had just started the battle.

“I’ll take Cole and his opponent,” Korah said, “Vera watch Violet and her opponent, and Tezuka you take Itachi and his enemy.” The two nodded and Vera quickly made a number of signs with her hands. The mirror suddenly split into three pieces, one floating over to each of them, showing the pair of ninja they were supposed to be watching. “Come on Cole,” Korah whispered as he watched the Sky Nin leap into the air, spinning as he attacked the girl who sent fire flying from her hands, “Don’t disappoint me…”

Also sure you can keep a scroll, just as long as we get our scroll.

Cole~~

Suddenly I got a strange feeling, and felt like I was being watched, I looked around quickly but found nothing, but the girl. She was on a branch, unable to see me from my hiding spot, turning my attention to battle, I gathered some electricity and sent it up my swords in an orb shape. Jumping from my spot I sent it at the girl, who was hit with it, she went back a bit, then hurled a ball of flame at me. I attempted a dodge, but my foot caught on a branch and I was hit with it.

I charged her with out another thought, my swords sheathed this time, I went at her with a charged fist, she dodged, and kicked at me with a flamed foot, which I dodged as well. This trend went on for a while, each either blocked of dodged, until finally both of us sent a punch to each others guy, we were both sent back, and hit two tree trunk. Immediately I got back up, and hit her with a charge, and felt a slight pain this time. She attempted a fire attack, but I dodged it, and sent another charge, this time catching her in a shocking shield cage.

She attempted to get out, but was sent back again by the shock. I closed the cage in more, zapped her again and released it. She stumbled forward, and made a collision course with the ground. But got up right after, and sent a jet of flame at me.

Sorry guys! I forgot I was in this Storybook. I have been having a busy Easter. Please forgive me?

Kazuna

She was lucky. The electrical current in the cage could have caused nervous system damage, paralyzation, and could possibly have been life threatening. As soon as she hit the ground, she relished the sturdy feel and welcomed it. She sended a large blast of flame towards him and watching him scramble away quickly.

But then it occured to her, there was another watching, who could possibly engage on this fighting. Whether they were on her side or his, his attentions weren't clear and would certainly become a hassle. She would have to get rid of the pathetic Sky Nin as quick as possible.

Kazuna charged at him, nearly catching him in an uppercut, but he quickly ducked back and kneed her in the stomach. She regained herself quickly and let loose a wave of heat from her body, snapping her wrist lightly to make fire go around him and charge at him from behind. She leapt backwards, catching herself in a back-hand spring and landed, knees bent and watched him as he somehow managed to get out of the way of her train of fire.

She clenched her fist in frustrartion. "Can't I just have you petty little scroll?" She growled and outstretched her hand.

"Why would I do that?" He smiled. A bolt of lightening stretched out of his palm and flew towards her, Kazuna barely escaping its wrath. It caught her arm, with burned her skin open immediately on contact. She spit on the ground.

"Fine! Be that way!" She lunged at him again using her fiery barrage.

Cole~~

She lunged at me, fist lashing out wildly. I jumped up in the air to dodge, and landed gracefully behind her, grabbing her arms.

"Let go!" She screamed and tried to get from my grasp.

"No," I said and gave her a shock, I felt some pain like the last time, and she struggled more, "Fine be that way," I said mocking her, and gave her another shock, and the small bit of pain came in again. This time though she fought back, and sent a fire ball at me, I tightened my grip on this, and then jumped. When in the air I did a flip and threw her to the ground, she landed on her feet though and sent another fire ball at me. Quickly I unsheathed my blades, and cut the branch above me, the ball hit this instead, I kicked the now flaming wood and it went at the girl.

"By the way I don't think we have been introduced. I'm Cole of the Sasi clan, from the sky nation," I told her, and then showed her the band on my arm that showed the sky nation insignia.

"Kazuna of the Shade," She said tonelessly and charged me.

"Nit so fast," I said, now very confident for some reason, and oddly playful. With a swing of my blade I sent another branch down and moved it with a flick of my hand, I had attached a small electric thread to it. Kazuna was sent back, but when I pulled the log back she was on it, she was ready to jump off, when I made the rope more a rod, pushed it and dropped it from my hand. She jumped off, and sent back a jet of flame to get her forward, I jumped from my perch, and dove straight into collision with her.

We hit with a loud crackle, from when her fire hit a large patch of bark on my shirt and my lightning hit her band. With a small explosion of force we both fell to the ground, I could hear her in pain, obviously some electricity had taken a small toll on her, making her unable to get up. As for me my last battle left me a bit in pain still. But I was able to get up.

"Don't worry, that charge will were off in a bit, no permanent damage will be done, so long as no one tries to heal you. And this is no lie, I'm not here to hurt others, unless I have to and any is short term or minimal. So just take the advise," I told her, "And where is your scroll?"

She seemed reluctant, but obviously she saw no point in fighting when she couldn't. She didn't have it, said her teamate did, so I went to find him and Itachi.
