(Okay.)

Lalaith

One second my back was turned, listening intently for the pursuer. The next, the injured elf was gone, stolen away by Constance, who I saw dashing towards to spring. I leaped out of the bushes and followed her, momentarily forgetting about the man who had shot the elf.

I reached the edge of the spring and found Constance pulling the arrow out of the wound. I knelt down beside her to help, wondering if she would run away again, or if she would allow me to tend to the wounds as well.

Rey:

Rey stood there silently, taking in the peaceful quiet of the woods. The branches swayed gently, casting shadows on Kaida's face. Rey stole a sideways glance at her. She was taller than when he had last seen her and her body was slimmer. Her face had been chiseled to perfection and her hair was much longer. A gentle breeze blew up, blowing her hair off her face. Suddenly, Rey noticed a feature he'd never seen before. Her ears were pointed. Rey looked at her sharply.

"Uh, Kaida" he started awkwardly. She met his gaze absent-mindedly.

"Hmm?" Rey paused, wondering if he should even bring it up. Being one himself, he knew how difficult it was to be a half-breed or for that matter how hard it was to be an elf.

"Never mind," he said. "Listen, I've been gone to long and I need to get back to my group. If you want, you can come with me. I can get you dinner, and we can chat some more."

~Kaida~

I smiled, trying to hide my concern. What had he wanted to tell me? Oh well, guess I won't find out for some time. Looking around as was my habit, I took in the sites. It was good to be alive and I hadn't had a good meal in such a long time.

"That would be great." I said truthfully, realizing how long it'd been since I'd 'chatted' with anyone-much less a human. "Lead the way."

Mounting Cerean, I waited for Rey.

Constance-

I didn't even look, but I knew that the elf I had met earlier, Lalaith, was next to me.

"May I help?" she asked.

"Fine, I need to clean this wound out and bandage it..." I couldn't think very well. Doctoring was only something that I had learned from the trees. I didn't have that much knowledge.

"She would have more help at my village," Lalaith said. I looked at the wounded elf and felt pity. She would get very little help from me, that I knew. I nodded.

"Can you carry her?" I asked.

She nodded and picked the other elf up. Sometimes I envied the elves. They had so much wisdom and power and strength, and I wished I had those traits as well.

Carrying the elf was easy, because elves were so naturally light weight. I knew that if I took her back to my home, she would be healed much more quickly and efficiently than she would out here in the woods. But I was curious to see how she would act once she woke up.

I turned to Constance. Her hazel eyes were shining with concern, and I knew she wanted to make sure the elf was okay.

"You'll come too, won't you?" I asked.

Day after day i rode as far as i could pushing both horse and rider to their limits. I have to speak with the Beornings. With their support and the elves legendry assassin we can end this insane King and his monstrous reign. I had been ride a few hours when i saw the distant trees and the last of some smoke. Thank you, i thought patting the horse, if not for you i would be weeks away. As i got closer i spied and band of riders and quickly moved out of veiw lying down and tying the horse to avoid detection.
I have looked into the eye of the storm and stared it down. I am an adrenaline junky and i know no fear.

Note: I changed the horse's name to Lightning

Rey mounted his horse and wheeled him around. He picked his way through the vines and found his way back to camp. By now, the men were settled and campfires had been kindled and were scattered throughout. He saw Kaida glancing around the camp. He wondered if she was nervous. He dismissed the thought and made his way to a campfire towards the middle of the camp. The two men around it looked up. They nodded a greeting.

"Rey! Where did you disappear to? I haven't seen you all evening," said Trace, one of Rey's closer companions. Rey's mind scrambled for an answer.
"I, uh, the, umm. I was put on special duty and I had to help sharpen the swords."

"Again?" Trace raised an eyebrow and grinned, giving him a knowing look. Rey glared at him, plainly telling him not to say anything. Trace could always read him like a book. Rey turned around to find Kaida dismounted and standing awkwardly behind him. He gave her an apologetic look.

"Trace, this is Kaida," he introduced. "She's an old friend of mine. We used to practice sword fighting." Trace was not nearly as much of a gentleman as he should've been. He didn't rise when introduced as men were supposed to do for women. He simply nodded his head and offered a question.
"Were did you happen to find this old friend of yours?" hhe asked, directing the question at Rey. Rey stammered. His friend knew.
"She rode up at the edge of the camp."
"Odd. I saw no one, yet I've been sitting here all night." There was a smile in his eyes.
"You must've been looking the other way." Trace seemed to accept this and looked toward Kaida.
"So how long have you known shorty?"

Nyxe

Nyxe's eyes helf opened, then quickly shut. She was so tired.

"Put me down," she mumbled, her lips barely moving.

"You need help," said the girl carrying Nyxe, not bothering to pause. "You've lost a lot of blood."

"I can care for myself," Nyxe tried to mutter again, but it was hardly audible. She fell back asleep.

It wasn't long until they had come to a village at the edge of the forest. Nyxe's wounds were cared for, and when she woke, she tried to escape, weakly. However, as she tried to go through the door, the girl who had carried her and her companion stopped her.

(I know its really really really excrutiatingly late to join this but do you think I could possibly partake in this? If not I understand, just bracket it in a post sometime and tell me if it's possible and I'll subtly either join, or if not allowed, then I'll back off)

~Kaida~

I smiled, though annoyed.

"First of all," I started, my competitive spirit kicking in. No one suspects me like that without good reason. "I am of Rohiran blood and you have no right to suspect me as if I'm a criminal."

I didn't look at Rey, afraid he would be cringing at her words. I knew I was probably going to cause trouble but I didn't care. No one that didn't know me would insult my honor like that.

"Second, you didn't see me because my horse is one of the Mearas. If he doesn't want to be seen or heard, he doesn't have to be seen or heard." My anger started to melt away as I spoke of my horse. He always seemed to calm me down.

(I may not post for a few days because I'm going out of town. Just thought I should say that. And as to the Dreamwalker, I have no idea. It's up to whomever started the storybook, which I believe is Texan Writer.)

I was glad at who quickly Nyxe was recovering, but wasn't so thrilled that she was already trying to escape. It would prove much more difficult to find out who she was and where she was from, if she was reluctant to be here. However, my people had just saved her life, so that must have counted for something.

"I'm glad you're finally awake," I began, blocking her exit from the spacious tent she was in. There were solid houses in my camp, but the tents were easier to erect and disassemble on short notice, in case men came. "But I'd like to talk with you, and wait until you are fully healed, before you leave." Constance was at my side, helping bar the elf's escape. "First off, what is your name?"

Constance-

I shook my head no. "I must stay here."

"Very well." And the elf took off with the other over her shoulder. I sat back down by the spring and took a sip. I only drank the magical water rarely, not wishing to experience a humiliating experience.

"Who are you?" someone asked.

I turned around and saw a dark man standing on a log. My reaction was absolute... I stayed where I was and watched him closely.

(Alright so, I have been allowed to join which is exciting. I believe I must now post my profile so sorry if I take up room or anything. Just skim it if you have a chance XD)

Name: Meer Willow

Gender: Male (yep, old habits die hard)

Age: 25

Race: Elf (course)

Appearance: Hair the colour of tree bark, eyes a mulberry purple. He's very lengthy and tall, at 6'2. He's shy though, and simple, hides behind his words usually. His skin is fairly pale, ghostlike even, and his features are fairly angular.

http://media.photobucket.com/image/elf/tofulovesanime/Fantasy/anotherelf.jpg?o=32

He wears simple clothing, white shirt with a sort of tan vest thingy, you know the things they used to wear under jackets. He also wears loose pants that he pulls up to his knees, and hunting boots that tie up to the lower of his knee.

History: Basically he was born to a family that has always been on the run, and is fairly young and unworldly which makes him more reckless when it comes to decision making and other things like that. Even still, he's shy and holds back his opinions often. Never really gets into conversations with people unless he really wants to know them, or is scared and or lonely.

I'll start up after this, so yah. Thats my character. His name is Meer but he only lets people who are close call him by his first name. To all though his name is Willow.

Thats basically all :)

Meer

He didn't quite no why he was standing there, and for the most part he was still confused on how he got their in the first place, but time was of no consequence, and when your feet were in charge, you found yourself stumbling upon many a situations. This was no different.

He stood in the tree, staring down at the spring below. An elf has just left the perimeter, and he was sure the hazel eyed human below was shocked. He looked in the direction that she was looking towards just to see another stranger.

He jumped down onto the ground unsurely, feeling excitement flare in the pit of his stomach. The one was human, but still... that was life other then the creatures that lived here. The only humanoid creature he had seen in weeks and he wasnt going to let this chance slip through his fingers, no matter how against his personality it really was.

He was about to speak up bust quickly decided against, not fully sure if he wanted to let his presence be known.
