*Ahhh, you guys posted so quickly. Gotta fit Kara back in here...sorry if it sounds cheezy*
I was hearing voices. It was sweet and almost melodic, the soft rhythm of the word "Kara" slipped off the voice's lips. It was alluring and mysterious, I knew I wasn't crazy.
"Kara....we need to talk. My name is Joseph Greengate. Don't be afraid, I won't hurt you. It is time your powers have come to you. You are ready and so is the battle. I am your godfather."
A misty grayish figure appeared in the middle of the garden.
"My godfather? I think you've got the wrong gal. I'm only an orphan." I said, stuttering.
"No, you are my Kara. Your beautiful red hair and your chesire smile is just the way it had been 17 years ago. My, the years have passed quickly." Joseph said.
"Wait, if I am the Kara you knew, do you know my parents?" Kara asked.
"Knew them? I was pratically your father's brother. Look, your father and mother loved you, Kara."
"Then where are they? Where have they been all my life?" Kara nearly screamed.
"Not right now. I need to tell you that the House of Yin needs you. You are a necromancer. You can see me can't you?"
I nodded as the tears ran down my face.
"Good. Your powers are as good as any knights. Now, one more thing--."
Kara twirled around at the sound of the door to the garden opening. It was Phaedra and Kurt.
"I need to see the King." I said, defiantly.
They both looked at me with blank stares.
"The King?" Phaedra mocked. "What does a maid need to see with the King?"
"I have powers. I think I will come in use in battle." I said.
