August- (Shadow)

"I'm not from the Shadow Clan, though," I said to the Fire Clan boy. It was a lie, but I continued, "At one point I was in the war. I'm sort of a nomad, you see. I was forced into the war against the Shadow Clan. I stole some clothes from the Shadow Clan. I thought I was going to die. I figured they may not kill me if they thought I was from their Clan." That was my best lie yet. Probably becuase I had rehearsed that one while I was on my way to the Fire Clan territory. It sounded sort of believeable. I hoped he would go for it. After I had reflected upon this, I went to the back of the group so I wouldn't have to talk to anyone. Gosh, how I hated talking to people. In the back, I took off the jacket. It was kind of him to give me the jacket, but it would be better if any Shadow Officials saw me with my Shadow Uniform on. Without it, my plan wouldn't work. This way, if they noticed me, I would say that I was being a spy for them. Lie to them and tell them some information that wasn't exactly true, and hoped they believed it. I knew that if I was in this jacket, they would instantly know I was hiding from them. Wouldn't have much of a life left then. Besides, it was slightly uncomftorable and it made my shadow bigger. Sure, it didn't make shadow flying any less lenght, but it made it easier. Which meant more energy. Which meant more killing. As I put the jacket tentively in my pack, I looked at the best armour. Shadow Armour. It was-for me,- better than tiger hides, but for everyone else it was virtually worthless. Few knew about it, but tiger hide was a fairly good protectant against shadow balls.

I eyed the tiger next to the Animal Clan boy. She was an absolute beauty. I guess I'd be offended if someone made armour out of my skin, I thought. Though she was beautiful, I stayed my distance. I knew not to underestimate people, or animals. With one attack, I could loose and arm or a leg. Both of which were very important to be able to my work with shadows. I looked at the Fire Clan escort nervously. Fire seemed the opposite of Shadow to me. Shadows didn't like light. Its not impossible to be a shadow near so much light, but it sucked more energy. I sighed. I would have to go back to Father soon. Besides, the constant sun along with the neverending Fire Clan soldiers were making me uncomferterable.

And Lightning should be with us. He arrived at the castle and all so there shouldn't be a problem there. Oh and wouldn't it be fun to have an adventure on the sea... maybe pirates... Or Shadow Clan... Or Sea Monsters... or something...

Korah and Nhara – Animal

Korah let out a small smile as him and Jessica rested on Nhara’s back. The great tiger plodded along at a steady pace as they moved through the streets of the Fire town. He could hear how annoyed Nhara was in his mind, and mentally tried to just ignore the crude thoughts she was sending out. She hated the fire boy, actually to be more correct she wanted to tear him and eat his flesh. Gruesome, but an angry tiger was never a nice thing. He didn’t blame her for being mad; the Fire boy had basically insulted her by putting on those gauntlets right in front of her. Korah himself wasn’t too angry about it, besides he was sure his clan did some things that others found offensive. For now he was just going to try and be at peace with everyone, as well as survive. He didn’t want to see any of these kids hurt, and who knew, maybe some of them were tougher then they looked… he hoped so.

Looking over at Jess he grinned at her wide eyed expression. She seemed to be taking to Nhara rather well, and what was even better was the fact that the tiger seemed to really like her. They both road on Nhara’s back, the other kids walked around, giving them space as they were escorted down to the docks. The closer they got the more the smell of seawater filled the air. Soon shouts could be heard, and as they rounded a corner they came to the entrance of the docks. Large ships were everywhere, the looming masses filling the sky and blotting out the sun as they bobbed in the ocean water. Some were made of wood, others metal, and the air was filled with the yelling and shouting of their crews. People were everywhere, loading and unloading cargo, haggling over goods, selling fish, and Korah even saw a couple people who were completely wasted stumbling around, this was going to be interesting to say the least.

The Seer who was leading them seemed to know his way as he confidently led them through the maze of people. Most gave them space; the Fire Clan Guards were enough to make most people avoid them or look the other way, obviously not wanting any trouble. The few who weren’t fast enough to move were cruelly shoved aside by the guards who sneered at anyone who dared try protest.

A few minutes later the small group halted before a medium sized ship. Unlike most Fire Clan ships which were metal this one was made out of wood, and possessed two large masts. “This will be our vessel,” the Seer told them all as he nodded at the ship. “If it looks like a merchant vessel that would be because it used to be. We are trying to remain as inconspicuous as possible, and hopefully this ship will help us all. You will all be sharing rooms, at least three of you to one. Also in your rooms are robes and clothes for you to change into, since most of you stick out in your garments. If you want to keep the clothes you have then you can store them away, or put a robe over them. Now get on board all of you, we haven’t long to leave and the crew will be ready to go soon.”

Great Nhara muttered as they trotted across the narrow ramp and onto the ship. I bet this means I have to sleep down in the cargo hold.

Korah didn’t answer, he merely gave her a smile as he whispered, “So the adventure begins!”

I walked on the ship last with the Animal clan boy in front of me but his tiger just behind it troweled at me as I waved the tiger hide in it's face "hey you don't have to wave it in her face" the boy said I ignored him and jumped up on to the ship and walked to the kitchion my favourite place hopefully theired be a fight soon so I could show off my skill.

*Can someone bring me in? I don't want to drop this one!*

I can give you guys a quick overview of what is happening to help. Were goining really slow right now because a lot of people are busy so it shouldn't be to hard to jump in.

First Part: We all met in the Fire Nation at a Castle. There we basically just got to know each other before we were summoned into the Castle by an old man...

Second Part: The Old man gave us our mission. Basically the Shadow Nation is growing powerful and attack the other nations as we all know. We were summoned to try to help stop that, were basically a small task force that is going to go kick butt . Anyway the Old Man told us that the Shadow Nation is looking for something called the Eternal Glass that will allow them to transport basically anywhere they want, so in other words no one would be safe. We are right now heading off to get that before the Shadow Clan does. The Eternal Glass is somewhere in the Nothing Nation, lost in some old ruins, our job, get it first. And another old man, who we have yet to name and only call "The Seer" is going with us as our guide and helper...

Third Part: So we all left the Castle, and have just boarded a ship which will take us to the Nothing Nation. Most of the Nothing Clan live under ground, but there are some cities on top where "normal people" or those without powers dwell. We are going to sail to the City of Kenton. It is the only Harbor town in the Nothing Nation, and is shared by both regular humans, and members of the Nothing Clan. From there we will have to travel to the Ruins of Exshelzar to search for the Eternal Glass. Like I stated before the Seer is our guide for this whole thing. It will take us around Four Days to sail to Kenton and from there we'll need to travel to Exshelzar plus survive whatever adventures we cook up along the way!

Hope that helps you all. We just boarded the ship so everyone is currently onboard, so you can talk or do whatever. My character is there so feel free to introduce yourself to me if you want. And Joe of the Fire nation has heaed to the kitchens. Anyway if you have any other questions just ask. Were taking it slow but we should be setting sail soon... I hope

Zan - Metal

I glanced up at the ship, starting to feel uneasy. No matter what the sailors said, I was always going to feel wary in the water. Or on it. There didn't seem to be much difference between the two, at least in my opinion. A group of kids, one from each clan? That was definitely a trouble magnet. If it wasn't, I'd be surprised. This was far too good a chance to pass up; a chance to start war among all of the clans. Again.

I looked up and saw the animal boy, with his tiger. It looked a bit strange, and I could see everyone avoiding them, more specifically the tiger. Never learned his name, or anyone's name for that matter.

"Hey!" I called, going over. "I'm Zan, from the Metal clan. You?"

*Hmmm, wow you guys definitly have imagination!!*

Aldiae

Everyone else on the ship looked so comfortable. The metal clan guy looked a little uneasy but I was sure it was mild compared to how I was feeling.

There were barely any trees to be seen. No shrubs, no bushes, grass...nothing.

Only the vast ocean. The boat rocked. It wasn't solid like the earth.

I envied the water clan girl. She was at home.

I didn't know what to do. Then, I got an idea.

I saw the fire clan boy go to the kitchen. Perfect. Back at home, I always cooked for myself since Grandmama couldn't help out much. I knew every plant that was tasty being a strict vegetarian and all.

While, I made my way to the kitchen, I winked at the tiger. I love animals big and small. The tiger's owner seemed nice though he was talking to the metal clan boy.

When, I opened the kitchen's doors, I saw that it was filthy.

Joe-fire clan

I walked in the kitchen to find it filthy. dishes piled up on each other with green growing on the plates a earth clan girl walked in behind me she stopped and looked around in awe at the filth. "wow' she said simply
"I've seen worst once to sneak into the nothing clan I had to hide in a garbage hauler for eight hours to be honest though the worst part was having to dig my self out from the bottom of the pile when we got their" I replied lightly.We both got work scrubbing the dishes "so why do you think they picked you to come here" Aldai said
"oh you know use to be in the army use to be an assassin maybe they thought because I use to sneak in shadows I'd be good at fighting people that did just that" She looked a little impressed you had to skilled to become one of the fire clan assassins "hum kill anyone important" she asked I nodded "most of the people I killed were important to name a few the old animal clan leader that water clan negotiator and that Earth general Carine I think it was, you'll probably be disappointed to know that for the last few years I've just been a bum". she nodded.

The ship had been sailing for 8 hours now. I felt sorry for the air and water clan kid the Seer had told them to move the boat along faster. The Seer himself was deep in meditation searching the waters for enemy ships. Aldai was still in the kitchen the sky lit up with fire balls raining down on us. me the Air clan boy and Jess were the only ones with the right abilities for the job of deflection we knocked them away but know with the light of the falling fire balls we could see what we were up against Three Shadow clan destroyer ships they were made out of not metal not Wood but strange kind of rock that was unaffected by the earth clan Powers. We could also see Shadow ball falling towards us 6 each holding six if they all hi us we'd be buggered. "August" Someone shouted at the Shadow clan kid his arms shacked as he deflected two of the balls into the water. Another one missed naturally but the other three hit the deck and soldiers burst out of them, this was so he shadow clans best tactic ever. Me and the Air clan boy broke away from the deflection leaving it to Jess she summoned a giant dome of water over us. I took out my sword and sliced one on the shadow clan another came up behind me and got a fire ball in the face. ting ting went my sword as I battled 3 soldiers. The animal clan boy was a good fighter he worked in perfect motion with his tiger especially now he had also transformed himself into a tiger. Aldai was using the green from the dishes making it completely cover the Enemy. "let's finish this" I said to everyone before slashing the soldiers and then hitting them with fire balls. I took my coat an tiger hide off before jumping up in the sky and enveloping myself in flames I used this as a flying method the Air clan boy followed me hi up into the sky as did the lightning kid as well surprisingly the Animal clan boy now as a eagle.
"take your pick" he shouted as we neared the 3 ships "one of us will have to share" I said with an evil ring in my voice. I shot down to the ship on the far left and like a torpedo went through it till the bottom floor of the ship I continued doing this up and down until I reached the end of the ship. The I flew high in to the sky them I looked down on the now burning ship and smile and evil smile I started to glow bright blue now my flame as powerful as it could be I streched my arms out and dived down on the ship. I went right thruogh it slicing it in half and I wnt futher still deep down into the sea befre my flame extigwished. That was my ship destroyed. only one one problem my clothes weren't fire proof and they had burnt off leaving me naked. I would have to be careful about getting back onto the ship.

Jess-

The shadow ships destroyed, I let the water fall back into the ocean. Everything was salt-soaked, but that couldn't be helped. All I needed to do was clean it. My hands were freezing from the amount of water I had handled in the past week. Cleaning the ship would have to wait.

"Hey!" Joe, the fire clan kid called from the water.

I grabbed his packs from the deck, knowing what he wanted. "They won't get wet!" I called back. Waterproofing was such an easy spell. I could do it even when worn.

I looked for Korah. He was still in an eagle shape. "Will you take this to him?" I asked. He nodded and flew away. I leaned against the mast and slid down to the floor, resting my arms over my knees. The mist was some of the strongest here, and water was the fastest way for me to recuperate.

A water flask came into my vision. It was Zan, the metal clan girl. I nodded in thanks and took it. Within moments I had drained the flask. Power went along my skin. I would be able to do magic again without risking blacking-out.

"Thanks," I said quietly.

*Zan's a girl? Whoops didn't know that. Sorry if I said "metal clan boy".*

Aldiae - Earth

Everything was wet or burned. Jess and Joe fought bravely against the Shadow Clan forces yet I could do barely anything. There wasn't any nature around in the boat.

I could feel myself getting more tired by the moment.

"Is everyone ok?" Joe asked.

Most of us, nodded our heads.

"Any injuries?" I heard one person ask.

We all seemed fine except for me. Why did it seem as if I was so worthless sometimes?

I ran across the ship, purposely bumping hitting Korah (who was still in his eagle form) on the way back to where our rooms were. Korah had done nothing wrong, I knew, but I had to take out my anger on something.

Its a bad habit. Usually there are trees around to kick or stones to throw.

But there was only water.

I felt myself getting slightly dizzy but I regained my composure to lay down on the bed. The sooner I got off the boat, the better.

I took out my string that I keep with me at all times to make a bracelet out of boredom.

Dean~ Air

I landed back on the deck and and closed my glider with a flick of my wrist. I hated using my powers to kill, but it was unavoidable. I went back to my original job and manipulated the wind to increase our speed. I my not have enjoyed fighting, but that had been the first time I had flown in a long time. It felt good. Jess the water girl replenished her powers then came back to forcing the water to move the boat along faster. I was tired, but I kept the wind flowing.

Zan - Metal

I nodded at the Water girl, still didn't know anyone's names. Taking back my flask, I glanced around. The battle was over quickly; everyone around here was pretty skilled. I looked at the dagger in my hand. I didn't even have time to use it before the battle was over. I was useless.

Growling, I stalked off, letting the dagger melt back into the ship. Those metals were already weakened, but they would have held. I glared at nothing, just wanting to take my frustration out on someone. This wasn't like back home, where you could just pound the ground over and over again till you were okay.

I went into hold.
