Name: Korah Sve'tan

Gender: Male

Age: 15

Element: Animal

Powers: He can shapeshift into any animal, as well as speak telepathically to any of the animals he comes across. He also is able to use a sort of curse which changes other people into animals, depending on how powerful the curse is, he is sometimes not able to reverse it so he doesn't do it often. He also has a lot of skill in healing, and he knows what herbs to make medicine out of, thanks to the animals who have been his teachers. He also has an animal Familiar, a tiger name Nhara who he has been with since a child, and he is exteremly close to her: http://akelataka.deviantart.com/art/Whi ... r-22072345

Appearance: http://garygill.deviantart.com/art/Young-Mage-96201176

Personality: Korah is a kind and overall gentle person. He is goodnatured, though he can be somewhat sarcastic and a little harsh, but he is always quick to appologize about it. A smile and a laugh are constantly on his lips, and he is quick to try and cheer someone up. However he can be terribly dangerous, and even violent is someone hurts or threatens a friend or someone he cares deeply about. His friends and family are more important than anything, and he would not hesitate to kill someone who tried to take a friends life. Other then that he truly hates violence, except when it comes to protecting those he cares about.

Other Skills: He is highly skilled with a katana and an oak staff, and is also very acrobatic, able to flip and jump around with ease. He is exteremly lithe and sturdy for his small size, but not to strong overall. Most of his sword fighting isn't based on strength however, his movements make it appear as if he has an opening, that truly isn't there. When his enemy goes for it he quickly strikes. Most of his attacks are also evasisve, and he tends to cut peoples tendons and such, crippling them and making him the victor.

History: Korah is considered royalty in his Land. His cousin is the Prince, and his uncle is King, and as such he has endured a very good and peaceful life, but not without its dangers or threats. His Father is the General of the Animal Armies, and one of the most powerful Warirors in the kingdom, and his son follows in his footsteps. Korah was simply born with the gift to shape shift at will, even at a young age he would have herds of animals following him around, to the point where he started being trained in his powers at an earlier age then most. There however is a lot of pressue on him to perform and succeed. There is also something dark in his past when it comes to Korah's mother, something he doesn't he is afraid to talk about... but the Animal Kingdom is quite peaceful, and although there have been a few little battles, it has remained mostly out of the war. Tensions are high throughout the whole kingdom though, because everyone knows it is only a matter of time...

Weapons: His Katana and his Oak Staff are his two weapons. Since he isn't a big fan of killing he will usually use his oak staff, and will only revert to using the Katana if the need is dire. Nhara his tiger is in a way one of his weapons. The White Tiger is a sign of Royalty in the Animal Kingdom, and Korah and Nhara have been together for years. They work flawlessly as a team, and together can take down almost any foe. Nhara is also very large for a tiger, nearly twice the size as many of her siblings, which makes her a very intimidating beast...

Weakness: He is under a lot of pressure to live up to his Fathers high standards, and the thought of disappointing his family is almost the scariest thing he can imagine. He also cares deeply for friendships, to the point where his own life might become insignificant to save anothers. He also cares a lot for his pet tiger Nhara, and would do anything to protect her.

Other: Up for love... ehhh why not

Okay there it is! thanks and im reading to start whenever...

Thank you! Now we may begin.

Let me tell you something about what you may want to write as an introduction for you character.

Background knowledge of this vast world~
• It is a sphere. It's not flat. It is round. I should like no one to try to disprove that fact.
• It is much like earth, another planet with intelligent life!
• The continents are not spread out much. The water nation does live mostly on the water in boats, (Really? Yes.) and they dock at the other places to trade, share stories...etc. They are mostly boatmen and woman.
• The Shadow nation, regardless of being a lesser element, does seem to have come by a very large territory.
• The four main elements have cooperated and managed to share equally a large land mass.
• The earth benders are nomads.
• The rest have reasonably large territories themselves.
• the Nothing clan lives in a city underground that looks like an inverted copy of the above ground world. It's not upside down, everything seems like it's a satire of life.

This is not an Alien world. It seems to have developed a lot like earth. In fact, close to being the same.

Each territory is unique. It fits that of the Elemental beings who reside there. That does make sense, no?

I would like it if you would begin by your character ending his or her journey to the rendezvous point which the Fire Nation has willingly provided. There your quest has been arranged to begin.

For those of you who are more defiant, I still would like you to follow these directions. PLEASE?!?!?!?!

Now, you've got an outline for you beginning. I would ruin the entire story if I were to, so if someone would please do the honors for me, I'd be a while in your debt. (Forever seems to short.)

*I will start!

However, fair warning, I might not be that active between the 1st and the 8th. You know why Forever. :D*

Jessica-

I let my hand trail in the water, sending my powers out to propel the boat forward. I guided it into the dock in the Fire kingdom, swiftly hopping out and anchoring the boat to the shore. It had taken a week to get here. It was only being on the water that had kept me strong. Now on land, my legs were protesting at my lack of rest. I had used my powers almost non-stop during that week. I mentally told them that rest would come soon.

I hoped.

I hailed a ride and told him where I was going. I didn't tell him the true location, instead choosing to drop myself off about a mile away. It was easier that way. For both the driver and whoever else I was meeting.

I grumbled at the Shadow kingdom as we went. Their territories were the among the largest, and they were a minor element. Only the major elements should have a large kingdom.

The driver saw nothing as we traveled. My face remained ice-like as we went down the road. Cold and hard.

Soon the 'destination' had been reached. I tipped the driver and began walking down the road. I went to a trot once nobody was in sight. It only took me about half an hour to reach the building. I showed my pass to the guards and they let me through.

I waited in the courtyard for the others who had been chosen. Soon, our task would begin.

Aldiae - Earth

I felt weird walking around in the Fire territory. The lack of trees disturbed me. I had nobody to talk to on the way. Most people are afraid to be alone; when they aren't in the company of other people. I'm afraid to be alone when I'm not in the company of trees. Or plants. Or anything nature.
Grass was no fun to talk to if you could actually hear them. There were so many that grass has a habit of talking over one another. Each blade has a different tongue.
Fire Clan's territory were I had to go was rolling plains and valleys. Pretty much open land. The soil was hard, it never really rains in Fire clan. I missed the soft mud.
I slapped myself. Aldi, what's there to miss?
Grandma.
Ok, Grandma. Who else?

I didn't let myself answer its own question. Morli told me to go to the courtyard where I would meet the rest of the Chosen ones.
I had seen parts of Fire clan being a nomad and all, so I had a vague idea where the courtyard was. It was by the Fire Palace, home to the leaders of Fire Clan. I could see the reddish brown top of the castle like building coming as I walked down the road.
As, soon as I got there, the shiny gates of the courtyard were apparent and I knew where to go.
A guard stood erect by the gates.
"My name is Aldiae Gyron. I am one of the Chosen." I said, just like Morli taught me to do.
The guard let me through the gates and I was in the marvelous courtyard.
I was instantly in love. Flowers of every kind, bushes cut in the most creative ways, and big oak trees lined the gates. I immediatly sat on one of the benches and started to introduce myself to a large sunflower that caught my eye.
I didn't even notice the girl from Water clan sitting on by the fountain, watching the fish swim in the water.

*Ha, yes, can't wait! We gonna kick butt.*

Akira~ *She has a bit of a twisted way of looking at the world for future reference.*

The streets that were built from Nothing underground. The sky was it's average rosy orange and random staircases lined the backs of random allyways. I had gotten advice from a Walker that one of these doors would open to the Fire Nation's Domain. They may control the land above, but do they control the land all the way down to the core? No, they don't.

The Shadow nation cut off our access to their land though. I guess they own all the dirt under them.

I traveled swiftly to the Mirror Elevators. I gazed at myself deeply and intensely and was transported to another sector of our underground territory.

I opened the door and stepped out. The air was a bit smokey and metal was being worked everywhere. I could here the clangs of metal against metal as the Fire Nation Denizens worked.

I made a left and came upon the cobblestone street. There it was. The courtyard that led to a complex maze that guarded the building. There was no way to get inside but to defeat the maze. Unless your city was built from Nothing. But we didn't have free access to everywhere and no doors led to that building.

The stiff guard checked me over and then allowed me in, slamming the rod iron doors quickly behind me. A pale girl sat by the fountain playing with the water. I could feel Nothing was quite present here. I searched the earth and pulled out a glob of it.

It's surface was highly toxic, but my hands were designed to hold it. I squeezed it around a bit and threw it to the ground. A shimmering, effervescent pool appeared and I rested my tired feet.

The girl approached me. She was from the Earth Nation, as she had the rustic look and she walked barefoot so she always had connection with the earth.

"Hello, I'm Aldiae." she said and stuck out her hand.

"Yes?" I asked, looking at her hand.

"Shake it!!" She told me.

Such strange customs. It was to be expected though. I reached for her hand and shook it. "I'm Akira, Class 1449, of Nothing, from the 35th sector underneath the 4th street to the left of the Air Kingdom and straight down." It was our custom to state our title like so.

Aldiae - Earth

The only reason I talked to the girl who was obviously from Nothing Clan was because the sunflower was getting a little egotistical and boring and that Morli would have wanted me to introduce myself. Be friendly. A person who doesn't talk is viewed as weak. I am not weak though I guess a simple hello is better than throwing a boulder. Maybe.
My little conversation was pretty useless considering the Nothing Clan's strange ways.
"Well uh, I guess we'll wait a while for the others." I said, walking away.
The oak tree looked friendly. Much more appealing than other people. Most everything is more appealing than other people.

Danny~~

I looked around. I was at the gate of the fire nation. It seemed pretty plain to me. Not like the lightning country, it was a sleek metal paradise where everything was conductive. this place looked like if you touched it all you would get was a sad whimper from a shock. But still i had to go. i walked in ignoring the guard throwing him a card with my reason. Then looked around, there were three girls around here, water, nothing and earth. Looked like a dull bunch but the earth. She was talking to a tree, what a sap ( not pun intended). But still she was near the only tree, and i loved to sit on the branches under the shade and drum. So i hoped up on top and started to spew out a few beats.

"if your going to do that do it a bit to your right" i heard the girl below me say.

"huh" i asked.

"the tree asked you if you could move it to a right if you are going to it he has a bit of a itch" she answered.

I did as told. But really she was real nutty ( again not pun intended.).

My glider that I manipulated with the wind alloud me to land a few feet from the entrance of the fire kingdom. I had never been to the fire teritory. I had been to the Earth and Water before. As I aproached the gates I saw somone I reconized from the Earth clan on my last visit. It was Aldiae. I only new her because our granmas had ben friends and mine would take me there when I was young. i ran after her. At least I knew one person.

*I hope this is ok*
This is one little planet in one tiny solar system in a galaxy that’s barely out of its diapers. I’m old, Dean. Very old. So I invite you to contemplate how insignificant I find you.

Ken~Light

Ken sighed as he beat the last person to the ground, "You Fire Nation thugs are no fun." He revenged through one of their pockets and pulled out some money. Sighing he left, a group of beaten fouls lying behind him. Walking out into the main street he caught a ride out to the country.

Once there he gave the driver the cash and looked around. I should go east, no, was it west? Screw it, I'll go North. He started walking hands in his pockets North along an old path. He eventually came to a lone building and walked up to the two guards, "Looks like the right place." Ken started to walk in, but was stopped by one of the guards, "You selling me a fight?"

"Let him go," said the other guard, "He must be the Merc from the Land of Light."

Nodding the guard let him in. Looking around he saw a few people there. he made a few guesses as to what element they were and decided to head over the the corner talking a seat, "So when does our esteemed host get here?" He asked as he through his head back to rest.

(FYI I'm a part of my schools Pit for our All School Show this year and wont be on too much for a week, till next Saturday when it's over, and will be on at least once a day.)
I will always fight back, no matter what.

YAY!!! We've Started!

Korah of the Animal Kingdom

Korah let out a slight chuckle as he absent mindedly tossed a small stone in the air. He caught it as it fell, before throwing it up again with a flick of his wrist. He laid on his back, legs crossed, as he stared up into the clear blue sky. He could hear the sound of people gasping all around him as he slowly moved along. Twisting around he couldn't help but laugh again as he reached over and scratched the back of Nhara's ears. The giant tiger let out a soft purr as it slowly trotted along, Korah on her back.

"My my, we are creating quite the stir, aren't we Nhara?" Korah mused as he stared around at the people who stood lining the road. They were in the fire country, of all places, but the King, his uncle had given Korah this task specifically and he dared not turn it down. Of course, it was quite obvious that the people of the Fire Nation were not used to having young boys riding giant white tigers strolling down their street. Most people who saw them turned to run, while others merely clutched their goods to them, glaring at the odd pair. Korah just smiled as he watched mothers grab their children, and hide them behind their skirts, while animal owners hid their live stock, as if they were afraid the lion would go wild and attack.

"I think there afraid of you Nhara?" Korah murmured as he continued to scratch behind her ear. "What do you think."

I hardly care for what these spineless pink skins think, their fear shows in their eyes, and for a good reason.

"My my, aren't we a bit grumpy," quipped Korah with a sly grin as he twisted around and sat up. "Do you know where we are though? We've been walking for a few days and I'm afraid I've lost track of where we are?"

Hmph, Nhara grunted, You are as carefree as ever, I'm surprised we even managed to make it to a city.

Laughing Korah swung of the giant tigers back and headed toward the nearest person as he called over her shoulder. "Don't be so grumpy Nhara, I'll find out where were going."

Walking up, he approached a small man with large eyes who was fearfully clutching a chicken as if Korah was going to turn into some monster and attack him. Holding up his hands to show he meant no harm Korah slowly approached the nervous man, who began to tremble the closer Korah got. "It's okay, I mean you no harm," Korah gently urged as he paused a few feet from the man. "I am just looking for directions to a certain house I think..."

A few minutes later Korah once again sat on top of Nhara as they exited the city and started up a large hill toward the royal palace. Was it really necessary to save that chicken Nhara muttered as they headed toward a large building with two double doors.

"I couldn't help it," Korah said, "I mean seriously it was basically crying to be freed." Sadly shaking his head he murmured, "I can't believe people can even eat animals its truly... disgusting."

Speak for yourself Nhara chuckled i find meat to be a most appetizing thing

Korah just rolled his eyes as they approached the two large double doors where a pair of guards stood. "Hey what's up!" Korah cheerfully called to them as he somersaulted off of the giant tigers back. The two guards hesitantly took a step back, eyeing the giant creature with wary curiosity as Korah stepped forward. "I am from the animal kingdom, is this the place?"

"Y-yes sir," one of the guards stuttered as he quickly moved to open the giant double doors. As he pushed them open Korah lightly skipped through and Nhara slinked in behind him, letting out a small growl that caused the guard to jump back with a slight yelp.

"Nhara," Korah called, "Stop it, be nice."

I am only nice, Nhara murmured as she followed him through into a small court yard.

Looking around Korah saw that already quite a few people filled the area. "Well this is quite the popular hang out spot," Korah said as he viewed the others. He saw a pale girl sitting by the fountain, one of her hands was drawing circles and symbols on the waters surface. "Stay a ways back Nhara," Korah warned, "I don't want you scarring her."

Hopping forward Korah bowed low as he said, "Hello M'lady, my name is Korah, who might you be?"

Zan (Metal)

I walked through the village, trying not to forcibly bring all the metals to me. The terrain here was hard, pretty much ore-rich rock. Not much soil or plants. Even the hardier weeds found it hard to cope here. The houses were quickly becoming scarce, and I knew that I had left the village. It would take quite a few days till I could reach the border of the region, and I'd be able to enter the Fire Kingdom. There was apparently some kind of meeting there, and the elders have chosen me to go. I'm not sure why, but oh well. I kicked a rock as I walked and sent is tumbling across the path.

I reviewed the information I was given. One representative from each of the elemental clans were coming. Even the Shadow natiopn. I shuddered. The Shadows were notorious here, for being one of the minor elements and having their own kingdom. The rumors surrounding them... I was taught to stay away from them, but now, I guess I have no choice.

I looked down the path. Looks like it's going to be a long way, I mused. Might was well get started.
There once was a cat.
He wasn’t particularly fat.
Fuzzy was his favorite mat.
And really, that was that.

Oh, but did you really think so?
Keep reading, it’s just the start of the show!
And as for how far this tale will go…
Well, even the cat doesn’t know.

Jessica-

I looked up to. "Jess. Jessica Snow." I cast a glance towards the door, where a huge white tiger was sitting. "And who is she?"

Korah looked at the tigress. "Nhara. Do you mind her?"

I half-smiled and shook my head. "Tell her to come if you want."

At his silent command Nhara came and sat by the fountain. I brought a tendral of water down in front of her nose, making a small resivouir for her to drink out of.

"She thanks you," Korah said, stroking Nhara's head.

"It's nothing." Nhara having drunk her fill I turned the tendrel into mist and let it fall on her. She shook contently and lay down. I smiled and let water snake up my hand.

Aldiae - Earth

"Hey, Aldiae!" I heard someone say. The voice was vaguely familiar.
I turned around to see a guy about my age from Air Clan.
"Dean?" I said, almost forgetting about Oak, the tree.
"Yeah, cool you remember me!" Dean said.
"Of course, I remember you. Shoosh." I said, lowering my head back to the tree.
"Aren't you going to say hi?" He asked.
"To you? No, of course not." I said, bitterly.
"What?"
"Don't lie. You know what I'm talking about." I said.
"I have no idea. Last time I saw you I was a little kid." He said.
"Yeah. But you were there." I said, whispering.
Dean inhaled.
"For the funeral? I'm sorry Aldiae." He said.
"Right. Just go away like the others, Dean. Before I make Oak strangle you." I said, soon regretting my words.
Dean and I used to be friends. But I've promised myself never to have a friend after she died. Dean included.
