I thought it would be interesting to see what people read these days...I'm currently reading (though of course not at this moment since I'm writing here) Terry Pratchett's Equal Rites. Post on! (I really hope someone does post here...)
If the road is easy, the destination is worthless.
Yeah, I'm reading Romeo and Juliet for school... We read it as a class, but we only got through two scenes and I have to write a report on it if I want to take AP English.
Is Pat Buchanan the answer to everything in your life? If so, put "Pat Buchanan" in your signature.

I've got the God Delusion too. Bought it to look clever :*), but also because I love Dawkins' TV shows.
At the mo, I'm reading Wide Sargasso Sea by Jean Rhys. Not the Mr Rochester I know and love, but it's a stunning book.
Also, All Quiet on the Western Front by Erich Maria Remarque.
I am currently reading Love's Enduring Promise by Janette Oke, it's a must read! (But read the first one in the series first, Love's Enduring Promise is the second one)
The God Delusion is a 2006 bestselling non-fiction book by British biologist Richard Dawkins... (blah blah Oxford blah blah)
As I understand it, the 'response' books published after it are just as interesting.
I believe the point that Dawkins asserts is that those who ascribe to a religion are simply experiencing insanity in a socially acceptable group setting.
I've said recently that videos of pentecostal services bear a striking resemblance to raves, minus the drugs of course.
So as not to hijack this thread...
I am reading Twilight (peer pressure!) YOUR HEART BELONGS TO ME (Dean Koontz), Tess of the D'Urbervilles (Hardy) and another Hardy book (which I can't recall the title of at the moment)
The only thing that's put my off reading TGD is that there has been a lot of criticism of Dawkins as being 'anti-religion/anti-God'. Might be interesting, though, for the sake of the hype.
Incognito Temptation, I know what you mean about Wuthering Heights wanted so much to like it! But it left me cold. Hope you can get into it, though. I suppose I'm too sceptical Mercury, good choice with Tess. Haven't read it in an age but loved it immensely.
Teach a man to fish, he eats for a day. Don't teach a man to fish, you eat for a day. He's a grown man. Fishing's not that hard. — Ron Swanson (Parks and Rec)
