Okey doke... so a lot of the stories I write are not exactly short stories, but not novels either. So, I was wondering, do you guys prefer to read/review a bunch of short installments, or fewer, longer installments? Advice is appreciated.

Prime post length: between 500 - 1500 words. So if you have a story that's around 3000 words, post it in three 1000 word posts, or two 1500 ones, or six 500 ones... etc.

500 is the shortest you really ever want a post to be, though, and you don't really want it to be longer that 1500. 1500 is already very long, just as 500 is really short. Find a balance between the two and post bits of your story at a time. Make it long enough for us to have something to review, but not so long that's it's overwhelming.

As far as what I like see from others, I will usually read fewer, longer entries over more, shorter ones. I have a short attention span and don't want to have to keep track of a bunch of entries.

Personally, when I'm in a reviewing mood, I tend to skip over the really long pieces and just stick with the shorter ones because I don't want to read that much. I think that's the same way for most people too. If you look at the little thing that says how many people have responded to the post you'll probably find that the really long ones get much fewer reviews than the short ones. Break it up. Keep it short :D
