Katy looked down at her little girl, Amanda grabbed at Katy's necklace, and stuck it in her mouth.

"Be careful snuggles mommy doesn't want you to choke." Katy took the necklace out of Amanda's mouth. She looked out the window, there were no lights at all. "Maybe we can just camp in the car for tonight."

"No, it won't work." he shook his head. "Its a small car."

"Well we're going to eventually run out of gas, Ty, what else are we going to do?" she asked, getting annoyed.

Tyrel frowned and kept going. "Next town we'll stop at a hotel and get gas." He said.

"Theres the next town." She said as lights showed up in front of them.

"Alright."

When they finally stopped in town, Katy got out of the car, with Amanda still in her arms and looked around. "It's like a ghost town or something."

"So I've noticed," Tyrel said getting out of the car.

"I swear if this turns into one of those crazy horror films I'm going to be so..." she looked down at her daughter who stared at her with large green eyes. "Upset." she whispered. She covered Amanda with a blanket.

When a person emerged from the gas pump

Tyrel looked at the man and moved clsoer to Katy.

"HI, not often we get anyone in this area." The man smiled. "What can I do for you?"

"I need to fill up on gas, please." Tyrel said.

"Alrighty."

*hmm*

Katy looked over at Tyrel. "Please tell me, your using cash and not a credit card." she prayed.

"Lots and lots of cash, I'm not an idiot." he said.

"I never said you were." she muttered and kissed Amanda's forehead. "I'm just being cautious thats all." she admitted.

Tyrel paid the man. "How far to the next town?" He asked as he watched Katy get back in the car.

"Maybe two three hours that way." The man shrugged. "You should stay here though."

"We'll see. THanks for the gas." He climbed back in the car and pulled out.

"WHeres the hotel?" Katy yawned.

"We're not staying here, I'll drive the next few hours, you get some sleep. I don't trust this place at all."

"It's a small town, we're not going to get robbed." she said, lightly as Katy settled into the seat and protectively held Amanda to her.

He gave her a quick glance. "I never said anything about getting robbed."

"Well thats just a great thing to get me to fall asleep." she rolled her eyes.

"That's why we're going to the next town." He smiled at her and kept driving. When they finnally drove into the big town he got a hotel room and helped Katy up to the room and then into bed. She never once let go of Amanda.

"Let me change her." He said prying AManda from Katy's protective hands. "She'll be fine." He changed her diaper then laid her back next to Katy who was nearly asleep. He then climbed into the bed and laid his head down putting an arm around both of his girls. He sat up suddenly.

"What?"

"Belle and Salem." He groaned. "I need to get Belle, I don't know about you, but I owe her that."

Katy groaned and hit her head against the pillow. "Can't this wait until morning?" she growled, irrated from her lack of sleep.

"No, it can't." he shook his head.

"Well what are you suppost to do? I doubt anything has happened to her." she said. "I'm worried about Salem too. But I bet their just fine."

"I'm not worried about your damn fur ball, he threw up on my shoe once." he smirked.

"Yeah well your stupid flea bag ate one of my good shoes." Katy whispered.

"Oh, no, not one of your shoes." he said rolling his eyes.

She gave him a death glare.

"Can't we just get some sleep. It's one night. We won't be able to make it back there anyway tonight." She frowned.

"Fine, but we're going back tomorow. She saved our lives, Katy, I'm not about to abandon her." He frowned as he laid back down.

Damn it, he had a point. "Alright, alright first thing tomorrow we'll go get her, ok?" she said. "She did come in handy huh?" she smiled.

"She's important in our lives." he added.

They both layed in silence for a couple of minutes, when she finally asked. "Do you think we should have my father arrested?" she asked.

"Yes, but to do that we have to prove that he had her. And then we'd get back in under the police protection, alot of good that did for her." He sighed. "I think we just stay away. We don't have enough proof and unless he had it then we're screwed. I don't know how we'll get Belle out tomorrow if she is still there, but it'll be interesting. I'm not carrying that cat or yours with Belle, cause then I'll be scratched up."

"Well if we're going back we're getting him." She frowned.

"I'll see what I can do." He yawned. "GOodnight."

The next morning all hell broke loose, they were in the car, they had finaly gotten a car seat for Amanda. Of course Tyrel HAD to double check it.

"It's pretty secure, I did it myself." Katy growled.

"I know, I'm just making sure, get in the car, Katy." he said, and then he too got in.


Within twenty mintues they were lost, and arguing.

"Why don't you just pull over and ask directions?" she asked.

"I know where the hell I'm going and FYI do you honestly see anyone around here?" he growled. "I'm using a map ok?"

"Oh, yeah THE MAP! That thing is older than this car." she crossed her arms over her chest and stuck her feet on the dashboard again.

"Oh so now we're battling about the damn car." he growled.

"GO. TO. HELL." she growled.

"Bite me." he tightened his grip on the steering wheel.

"Fuck you." she growled holding onto the handle on the inside of the car roof, it snapped when she put too much pressure on it.

***I feel like my heart is being torn from my chest. Boy problems that can't be solved without more pain. :'( I'll have to post later, I no longer in the frame of mind to post. Just remind me if I don't.***
