Tyrel drove for a while before she said anything to him.

"You were serious."

"Yes, I was dead serious." He rpelied.

She made a sound she hadn't made in forever. "Ugh." she rolled her eyes.

"Don't sound too suprised." he said.

"Well I am," she glared. She made toe prints on the windshield.

"Would you stop that." He frowned.

"Why?"

"Your smudging up the window."

"Ok, we're both on edge and going at each other."

"Whats your damn point?" he growled.

"My point is, I'm going to slap you in a minute." she yanked her feet violently off the dash board and sat up straight.

He glared at her. "Don't push me."

She crossed her arms and stared ahead.

They didn't talk for the rest of the trip. When they pulled up in front of her dad's house the mood changed.

"What's the plan?"

"Psfh, I don't know. I'll knock on the door and see if they'll invite me in for some tea." she rolled her eyes, still obviously pissed.

He tugged a strand of her hair, "smartass." he growled.

"I'll probably just knock, I mean I didn't change my appearance."

"You wan tme to stay here?" He asked seriously.

Katy rolled her eyes, "well I have no idea what else to do? Do you want to come in with me and fake a British accent?" she asked.

he glared at her. "I'm serious." he growled.

"So. Am. I." she was holding back from hitting him.

Tyrel frowned and ran a hand through his hair. "Fine."

Katy looked him up and down. Then got out of the car.

"What?" he asked, sounding annoyed.

"Oh, nothing." she bit her lips to keep from laughing.

He got up and walked after her. He knew he could change his voice.

Katy looked at him, his face was pale, like stone.

Katy took his hand. "Remember, your my lover." she bit her lip. Then rang the doorbell.

Her father opened the door.

"Daddy?" she asked, swallowing the lump in her throat. "It's me, Katy... and this is uh... Luke." she smiled.

Her father looked at her and gave her an eerie stare. "Come in."

Tyrel smiled at her dad and followed her in resting his hand on the small of her back.

"It's good to finally be able to meet you." HE smield at the man in a deeper souhtern accent then what he had.

Her eyes widend, was he kidding? She looked back at him, and he winked at her giving her a reassuring smile. She glared at him.

"What is it you want?" her father asked.

"Do you have any news about Amanda?" she asked.

"No." he faather gave both of them coldness from his pale green eyes.

"Daddy please. I know you have her. Give her back, please." she begged.

Tyrel drew her a little closer to him looking at her father. He'd keep his mouth shut and let her do the talking.

"She's not here." HEr father said again. That's when a baby's cry came from teh back room.
