Ballow went to sleep that night with half a dozen different kind of burns, forsts and other power attacks on his body. He thought they looked pretty so he wasn't angry at the others about that. Being decorated was a sign of thanks and gratitude that he had gotten back one of the "team".
When he woke up in the morning he saw his friend Annette, sitting next to Brad conversing, so he walked up to them with a smile and patted Annette harshly on the shoulder, "You good now?"
Annette looked to him and he could tell she idn't answer what she wanted to say, "Yeah, I'm . . . better."
Ballow grinned at him and pointed to his arm where the bolt of lightning that had hit Ballow was. A burn the shap of an actual lightning bolt was portrayed on his arm. He patted it gently, "Thanks for this. It's beautiful."
I stared at Ballow.
I quickly got up and ran away into the woods.
"Ugh! Why couldn't I face him?" I thought outloud.
I was scared, just plain scared. He was so weird...and harsh.
I couldn't tell anyone...they'd just say, that he's a good guy, just kinda "strange."
Brad and the others sat in a circle around a fire while cooking breakfast and discussing the next move.
"so what next, of course the first thing is up to Paul, Paul you have anything" Brad asked
"yeah, i got a dream vision last night" Paul answered
"well, what about" Tiffany asked
"well i saw us in a building all of us set in slimy green liquid while scientist operated on us and then i saw us in the same place destroying it... but that's it"
"well not much but we know that if we were with the protectors we might have a shot at saving the others before they die, if the operate on them to"Brad asked " So any ideas on where to go next guys"
When I got back everyone was seated in a circle. I sat down next to Lily.
"So what are we talking bout?" I asked, trying not to make eye contact with Ballow.
Ballow was slightly annoyed at the fact that his new friend was inoring him, so he activated his slow-time and seated himself between Lily and Annette. Annette not noticng asked, "So what are we talking bout?"
Ballow smiled after he disactivated his power, "A dream, and where we're going next. You okay?"

Ballow pouted, "You don't like me then?"
"NO! I am pretified of you!" she screamed back.
A murderous expression crossed Ballow's face and to Annette, he disappeared, but he had just activated his slow time. Using his accuracy he stabbed the gash near her hip again and again.
Then reappearing he smiled at her, he had disactivated his power, his was anger gone, "Do you like me now?"
*Lol, remember Ballow has no sense of right or wrong.*
Brad caught Annette as she fell in his arms. He saw a painful expression on her face. "what happened." And at that moment all eyes turned on Ballow.
"why are you looking at me" Ballow asked
"well you already almost killed her once, she just got you mad and your the only one who we would be able to see do it" Brad stated
"well, so there is some evidence to me, we all have super powers here who knows"
"well lets see no one could do that from a distance but Annette and why would she hurt her self"
Then Ballow smiled, "Okay I'll admit it, I hurt her. She had no right to be so mean, it hurt my feelings."
This earned him several more saps of different kinds of power. He would have new burns and bruises. Damn.
Though even though they hurt he smiled through them, believing them to be praise and gratitude for telling the truth. He grinned when they finished, "You all like me that much?"
Brad held Annette close to his chest and his eyes grew cold, "No Ballow, I think you should leave. No one trusts you."
This shocked him, shocked him to the core and he was left startled as they gathered around Annette to see if she was okay.
No one trusted him? A lonely tear slid down his cheek as he activated his slow-time. To anyone who was watching he would've just simply disappeared, but no one was watching.
He walked into the bushes to contemplate this new revelation.

Right after I snapped at Ballow, I had no idea what happened, except that I had the worst pain in my hip. I knew it was Ballow. It was only him. No one else would do that.
Brad made him leave, but...I'm really scared. What if he comes back? Then? He's already nearly killed me, what if next time he really does kill me?
I was laying down, the others couldn't really help me, since we didn't have any supplies to treat wounds.
This sucks. I always tried to be the tough one in the group, that's why I guess I was always so...rude. To Brad, I thought that being "mean" to the leader would show how tough I really am. To the others I wanted them to see me as a tough girl.
That's not how I really was. No one knew I went to bed every night crying and praying that nothing would happen to any of us. I also apologized every night, to God for killing that man.
I tried to keep a hard not-in-pain face, but it really wasn't working.
"I'm fine." I managed to choke out. But really every breath I took hurt like crazy.
