you can message me with anything: questions, review requests, rants are you a green room knight yet? have you read this week's Squills?
I'm starting to get the hang of things around here, I've posted quite a few things and I was wondering if any one would comment on my new poem 'Is Anybody Out There'? It would mean a lot, thanks !
Pain is beautiful, when you feel pain you know you're alive. -Criss Angel
I'll take a look at that poem for you if you like I'm glad you are getting on ok on the site. If you need anything else then feel free to PM me and I'll see what I can do.
Hullo, there dearies. 'Tis I, feel free to call me Charley or Twisted.
I've never written anything on my own besides the mandated assignments handed to me (and even then, I sometimes don't get around to it). Typically, I've been assisted with role playing or for those who do not know what that means collaborations so to speak. I write in a single voice/character and the other wordsmith does the same with a plot in line. In short, we wing it.
Now that I've bored you sufficiently with talking about myself, what about you mates?
It all depends really. If I'm in the mood to review, I usually go to either the fantasy short story section or other poetry. I have no idea why. If I'm just bored and I want to have fun, probably Word Play, Randomness, or the Lounge. There's no part that I really neglect though...except for romantic short stories/novels. Not my cup of tea, that's for sure.
Edit: Role playing on YWS is called Storybooking. You should check the forum out if you like doing that; there are tons of Storybooks to join and there's always new ones!
"You laugh at me because I'm different. I laugh at you because you're all the same."
Savvy, haha. Trust me, mate. I understand what you mean when it comes to the "romance" section. It's not my thing even though I specialized in that area on a role play site, less mushy feelings and more messy. Relationships are anything, but clean. Catch what I mean?
Thanks for the heads up! Although, I joined the site to write solo. See if that works out, lemme snort derisively to my own comment. Like that's going to happen.
Hello, iwrite27! Wow, that's a mouthful. xD Do you have any nicknames?
Welcome to YWS! I hope you're not finding it too confusing so far - I think the layout's pretty snazzy and it's all easy to navigate. However, if you are having any problems, then feel free to let me know and I'll see if I can help you out.
See you around!

Pleasure to meet you, vampy(?). I've been a bit confused with The Lounge and what have you, but it's been interesting to see how I'll venture out. How has your experience been thus far?

Welcome, iwrite27! Hope you have an awesome time, mate. Wish you the best of luck with your future work.
To answer your question Carl my experience here at YWS has been very stimulating and my writing has been slowly improving. Welcome iwrite27, hope to be seeing your work in the forums soon.

"Their ideology is that human nature is fundamentally evil.In other words, humans are evil from the day they are born."
Sounds awesome. I can only hope that things will continue that way for you, wish you mates the best of luck! I'm going to saunter off to the General forum as I have been lately. Peace!
