Starstruck

Journey was shaking by the time she went to the doctor. She sat down and Colt was standing right next to her. The doctor was a woman, her name was Mrs. Jallyssa Morris.
"Well, Journey you are pregnant about seven weeks. Congrats."
"How is the baby?" Colt asked.
"The baby is perfectly healthy. You should be very happy." Dr. Morris said, smiling.

Colt nodded. "We are." He said as he wrapped and arm around Journey.

"Now, come back in a few weeks and we'll know if it's a boy or girl." The doctor smiled. "Get rest, eat healthy."

"Thanks." COlt helped Journey down and back to the car not wanting her to be at the hospital for to long.

Journey had a gut feeling these next nine months, well seven and a half months were going to be hell. She knew this baby wasn't going to go easy on her. She relaxed a little. She covered her tummy.
When they got back to the dorm, she just wanted to dive back into bed. "I think you should take some time off from school." Colt said.
"Why don't YOU." Journey snapped, she was getting grouchy.
"I'm not the one who is pregnant." Colt shot back, smiling.
"I wish you were just for one single day so you could go through all of this instead of me."

Colt smiled. "I wish I could take the painand all from you also, but I can't. I would if I could." He said softly. "Remember, even if I don't fully finish school I still have the family buisness, I can take care of the three of us easy."

"But you need to finish." She said.

"I will. You'll see." He said. "You need sleep and lots of good food." he led her to the bed laying her down and the covering her up.

"where are you going?" She asked.

"To class, I dropped the classes I don't need. I'll be back as soon as possible."

Journey felt loney when he left. After her nap, she got up and relaxed. She was pregnant, she was going to have a baby, their baby. She looked at the time it was 11:30 afternoon. She pulled on her jeans, and a coat and left a note, saying she was going to the coffee shop. She went out for some fresh air. She kept her cell phone with her and went out to get some coffee, she hung out at the coffee shop for a while, not wanting to be in the dorm all day. Finally when she ordered what she wanted she sat down and looked out the big window seeing all the snow.

Colt finally got done with his classes and then hurried back to the dorm. There was a note so he went off after her. He got to the coffee place, got himself some coffee then went and sat next to her.

"You needed to get out, didn't you?" He asked.

"Ya, that dorm is small." She said.

"Christmas break starts after tomorrow. I'll get you out to one of the families mountian home unless you want me to take you home." He said softly.

Journey took his hand. "No, that sounds really nice. I wanna go." she said smiling at him. Although she wasn't feeling so good every five seconds her stomach did something weird. "Get out for a while. How was uh, class?" she asked.
"The same you know? Lectures." he rolled his eyes.
"I hate that, then they expect you to take notes fast enough." she smiled draining the last of it.
"Are you drinking coffee? Isn't that bad for the baby?" he asked.
"It's not coffee, it's iced tea." she said smiling. "Home?" she asked.
"Yeah, lets go."

Colt helped her out to the car then up to the dorm. He helped her off her feet.

"Help me study?" He asked.

"Sure." He handed her a paper then took her shoes off rubbing her feet. "What are you doing?"

"Paying you back for helpin me study.' He smiled. "Your not ticklish are you?" He asked with a smile

"Yes!" she jumped. "I am." she laughed. "Colt! I'm only 2 months pregnant, I don't need my feet rubbed."
"Yeah, yeah yeah whatever." he smiled.
"Here." she handed him back the paper, it was finished. "Now, stop it." she laughed.
For a while everything was quiet for about twenty mintues, she looked at Colt, he looked focused and silent.
How was he going to focus with a baby around? She wondered.
"Colt, I'm sorry."
"For what?"
"For everything I mean the massive stress. I'm sorry about the pregnancy, I didn't know, really." she said truthfully.

Colt nodded. "I know. Don't worry, everything will be perfectly fine."

"But what about when it is here?" She asked.

"What about it?" He asked.

"How will you study?" She asked.

"I'll figure that out when I need to." he replied softly. "We dont' need to figure it out right now."

Journey held onto his hand. "I really AM sorry."
"I know sweetheart, but it'll be fine. Really." he said squeezing my hand.
"Do your parents know? That's I'm pregnant?"
"Yes."
"Oh, goodie, so they probably think I'm pulling a Brittney right?"

"No, that was the first thing they said. But I fixed that thought. Dad believes me, which means mom bleieve me too." He smiled.

"THat's good." She smiled.

"Yup."

*~*~*~*~*~Two days later, mountain house~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Colt looked around teh house. "You like it?" He asked.

"It's beautiful." She smiled.

"My parents will be here tomorrow, but only for a day." eh said softly.

"I'm looking forward to meeting your parents don't think I'm not. But I'm really nervious." She said when they both sat down she rested her hand over the baby.
"It's alright sweetheart. They'll love you." he promised.
"I just haven't been feeling well." She put her head in her hands.

Colt looked at her concerned. "What do you mean, are you still nauses or do we need to go to the hospital?"

"I'm not sure." She said softly. "I really don't know what it is."

"How long have you felt like htis?" he asked wlaking over.

"A little while." She said softly.

"Journey!" He groaned. "You should've said something."

"Oh, I'll be fine. It's probably just the baby."
"Journey why did't you say anything?"
"Well, because." she said. "I'd get you all worried and then you'd take me to the doctor."
"I'm fine, really, it's just something to do with the pregnancy, promise." Journey lied, it probably wasn't the pregnancy.
