Im Trying

I really am. I just couldnt draw recently, and I remembered someone said your style is just to cover up mistakes, and if you cant draw with your style its not working.

So I threw almost all of it in and went to Saveloomis.org

Learned a bit about the head.

And this came out. Flaws such as the eye sizes, lips, and neck persist.
But will be ironed out.

Her face looks sunken... is it supposed to look like that?

Anyway, if the girl had less hair and less of a smirk, she would look like a character of mine. Scary, huh?

Hey thats really good, apart from the eyes, I think you might have done the left one (or the right... :l I forget my lefts and rights xD ) is way too small...

It looks sunken because I added that cheek bone shading thing... yeah... and the ear is too close... dammit...

For a first head its absolutely wonderful man.
Whats funniest though, is that I can still see your style through it.
I've always been a fan of your certain style, wether it be simple or complex, and this is a refreshing turn.
Keep practicing and soon your comic will be getting an upgrade as well;)

Hell the reason why I did serious stuff was because I couldnt do cartoons. Like... the heads.... were.... wrong....

On your first picture, I had no idea if it was a girl or a boy, the features were almost boy like, with a hint of girlness in it. The eyes are too different from one another. Apart from that, it's good. And I know you said you were trying but I know you can do better, like your Shaun of the Dead pic

Erm, yeah, You have good intentions and all, but it doesnt really help. Because I already pointed out those same flaws above each picture.

Pretty good... Yeah, the eye is kinda, er, deformed... But, uh, keep on going!
