Angel

I picked up a beer that I had bought and almost snorted it out of my nose laughing, she thought she was actuallly intimidating. Her? I laughed and laughed.

"I'm not afraid for you Maeve, no one is, and as for the nude pillow fight, I think I'll pass. And third, if you had have the brain you think you do you'd know that none of those men over there are men, their demons." I growled.

"Yeah, I guess I am a bit old.", I giggled. "It may seem like a long time, but it's not like I just sit alone in this city all day. I busy myself by helping people. I haven't come across any magic, but I have seen many demons, especially in New York City." I looked Daniel over and came up with an idea.

"Why don't I show you all of this?"

Maeve

Usually being laughed at would have sent Maeve over the edge, but this new piece of information distracted her.

"Really?" She looked over her shoulder again. "I bet they'd be better company than you. What? Don't look so surprised, I haven't allied myself with the girl scouts or the fork-tails. Though, honestly, they can be bundles of fun when they aren't playing mind games or torching people."

Daniel

"Why would you?" I asked her. "I mean, did anyone really help you when you became an angel?" I asked.

She shook her head. "No not really, although I have met some pretty interesting people over my years."

"So there is a good side to this." I said trying to smile, if you asked me there was no good way to do this, I was dead I couldn't see my friends anymore I couldn't talk to my parents. "What happpened to my body will they ever find it?" I asked.

Angel

"Trust me, I know all about fun with demons, I use to-" I cut off, there was just somethings that other angels weren't suppose to know, and plus I had died before Maeve had so she couldn't exactly read my mind. Although I never did know how SHE died.

"Use to what, Angel?" She said looking at me.

"Nevermind it's none of your business." I growled and drank down more of my beer, finishing it off.

"Your in your body, but your body is pure now. You don't need to do human things anymore, like eat. Of course, that never stops me.", I laughed. "It will be as if you disappeared, and I know that's not uncommon in this city.", I winked and started to walk towards the elevator and off the roof.

"So are you coming or not." Daniel looked around and decided to follow me. What choice did he have?

"This is so confusing I thought when you died you either go to heaven or hell, not mingle with other angels."

"Sorry to disappoint you." She smiled.

"No, no. I just you know kind of got my hopes up. So if i'm an angel does that mean I was pretty good in my life?" I asked

*She's a witch, she never died, lol. Agh, I had a nice long post and I accidentally deleted it. I'll try and recreate it as best I can.*

Maeve

"Fine, keep your secrets," Maeve said, only a little put off.

Scanning the people in the pub, her eyes settle on a couple passionately making out in the corner. She whispered a few words under her breath and the male went into a sneezing fit. It was a childish thing for a witch like her to do, and it didn't even amuse her like she thought it was.

Sighing, she sat down on a bar stool. Sneezing fits! She should be out granting the rash wishes people make, and enjoying watching them regret it. One time, she granted the wish of a religious college girl, who wished her promiscuous roommate would stop bringing men to their apartment. The look on her face when her roommate started bringing home girls was priceless. She treasured moments like that.

Swinging her attention back to Angel, she stood up. "I'm thinking about switching the mind of a pastor with the consciousness of a criminal on death row. Would you care to join me?"

I raised an irrated eyebrow. "Do you enjoy messing with peoples destination?" I asked, she had no right.

"No, but I have nothing better to do." She said.

I threw money on the table as I began to walk out.

Maeve

Maeve rolled her eyes and slipped off the stool. "I officially dub thee Queen of Drama. Please, it's not like I won't reverse it before he hurts anyone."

She had take quick steps to keep up with Angel. She grabbed her arm. "I may look young to you but if you'd lived as long as I have you'd get tired of doing 'good' deeds, too."

Angel

"You know as well as I do, that no bad deed goes unpunished." I glared at her, "and stop touching me."

"How can you be so rude but like to do good things?" She asked.

I rolled my eyes. "Let's just say I have enough guilt and annoyance to do all sort of things that woould surprise you." I told her. "So back off, witchy."

Maeve

"No! I'm actually enjoying being insulted," she scoffed, "and it's 'no good deed goes unpunished." She stopped walking and folded her arms. It took all the restraint she had not to put a hex on her.

Angel

"Why won't you just go away?" I asked turning to look at her.

"Because, it's too much fun annoying you."

"You won't think it's so funny when I break your nose." I growled between clenched teeth.

"I could put hex on you." She growled back.

"Ooh I'm so afraid. I'm an angel it'll just bounce off of me you idiot." I said.

"Um, I guess so. I don't remember if I was good or bad in my old life, but as long as you don't cross over to the dark side and become a demon your a good person.", I tried to say this with a straight face, but I ended up laughing my head off.

**I'm running out of reasons for Maeve to stay. I don't know how much longer I can keep her from walking away.**

Maeve

Her lips twitched with amusement.

"What's so funny?" cried Angel angrily.

Maeve gave Angel a demeaning look, like she was a child. "You're so cute when you're angry," she said, patting her hand.
