"So, why are you sitting out here anyway?" Kairi asked Edward. He look just the same as before, but this time he looked terrible. She looked behind her to make sure no one was coming out of the store, and then looked at Edward again.
"Oh, no reason in particular. Just that I can never seem to say or do the right thing at the right time." Edward looked down at her and Kairi felt as if the whole world had just stopped.
"Why do you say that?" Kairi couldn't believe that Edward would say something like that, he seemed like he was perfect.
"Because my whole life was just torn apart. My sister was taken from me and I may lose the only family I have left." He had a look on his face of fear.
He shouldn't look like that. He should never have to feel this type of pain. "Hey, why don't we go get a cup of coffe? My treat." Kairi smiled at him warmly, hoping he would accept her offer.
Edward looked at her, looked at his feet then smiled at her."Okay, let's go."

Edward:

Usually I would never get coffee with a complete stranger, but Kairi was different. It was as if I had known her forever and she seemed to know me. I looked over at her as we walked towards the cafe. She had pretty red hair that seemed very thin and soft, her eyes were a dark green and she was small and petite. Kairi caught me staring and smiled to herself. I looked straight ahead, embarrassed.

*I'll post something later on when I'm done with a major research paper.*

On the way to Star Bucks, Kairi looked over at Edward. He had his head down, looking at the sidewalk. 'He is so upset.' She looked ahead of her trying to find something to say. She felt him looking at her so she turned and faced him, about to say something, but he quickly looked straight ahead. Kairi smiled to herself.
Suddenly she tripped over a rise in the pavement, she put her arms out to catch herself, but she felt two strong arms grab her. Kairi looked up to see Edward's face a few inches from hers. She could feel his breath on her cheeks. 'Oh my...'

"Are you okay?", I asked, rather concerned about her clumsiness. She could have hurt herself...

"Yes, I'm alright.", she whispered out of breath, dusting herself off. She was inches away from the pavement when she fell.

"Did you hit your head?" I asked.

"No, I'm okay.", she faced me and smiled, which made me grin. "Let's go get some coffee."

"Okay, let's go somewhere a little less hazardous than the sidewalk.", We both smiled and walked toward Star Bucks.

*hey, can somebody else post? SeleneForeverDream and I have been the only ones to post for awhile. We need some more people in the story.*

I'm here! I added someone's chracter to the story, but they never posted. I was waiting, but never posted.

*GOD! I can't post because currently, Ballow is being sat on by Kriss! . . . okay that sounds weird, but Kriss still has to react!*

"The park would be a good place to start" replied Eunice as she dragged me through the streets faster than i could breath.

In a few minutes we were there, in the park, at night.

"Are you sure?" I asked looking at the deserted park.

"Trust me teenagers come here at night to have fun" said Eunice grinning.

"Ahh i see" I said.

"So how far can we see at night?" i asked after a while.

Eunice grinned, "Your certainly a curious ex-human" she said "Vampires can see up to two kilometers at night" **Is that okay for this??** but less during broad daylight"

"So are we going to hunt?" i asked impatiently.

"don't be impatient, we have all the time in the world. and besides here comes a couple towards us" Said Eunice pointing at an approaching teenage couple.


***That okay??***

*OKay, Kairi and Edward just went and got some coffee. Now they are strolling through the park and Edward is walking her back to her apartment.*

"Thanks for the coffee. Next time I buy.", I winked at her. The park was dark and was lit by the occasional street lamp. When we passed and I looked over at Kairi, her face glowed.

"No problem. I'm glad you feel better.", she said, her smile illuminated by a street lamp. I returned the smile.

Just then, two pale people appeared from the darkness, strolling along like a normal couple. But something about them struck me as strange. I reached out to hold Kairi's hand and grasped it firmly. These people looked like the guy that took Tami. I glanced at them, trying to get a better look.

Oh my God. The man who had his arm wrapped around the beautiful woman was... Zire.
