Elianna & Cassandra~

Eli and Cass sat on the rafting, leaning against each other. "Think about it Cassie... Even though we love Owling as a father we can help these people get free and free ourselves! Think of the freedom that we'll have! We could get married to guys our age! Our age! Instead of a couple of seventy year olds that we'd kill for their money, which we'd give to Owling! We could own horses! I've always wanted a horse of my own! A brown one with a black mane! We could even have ki-" She went to continue but Cass but her off.

"Okay Eli, enough. I understand, but I, unlike you, don't have a future." Cassie laughed dryly. "I'm a half-blind demon girl who was raised by a cross-word loving owl freak!" Cassandra sighed and looked down at the escapees below her. "I'll free them and help you get out... I want you to get far away from here. Somewhere that Owling can't find you. I want you to die your hair and get a job. Not a brothel, please." Elianna nodded, a smile playing across her young lips. "Let's go," they jumped off the rafting, dust rising up around both of their feet when they hit the sandy cell ground. Cassandra knocked out the brutish guards with a flip of her sword and nabbed the keys, throwing each set to someone that was already out.

Elianna did a happy dance, spun in a circle and jumped over near Von and his new friends. "C'mon, c'mon! Hurry and help us get everyone out!" She smiled, throwing a set of keys towards them. A look of confusion crossed each of their faces. After all, she was supposed to be the enemy.

Shad

The girl's eyes widened until they looked ready to pop out of her face. Shad couldn't see, though. The pain from the change blotted out his vision.

Doubled over on all fours, he felt his back change from smooth human skin to gray-black scales. Wings sprouted from his sides, and a long tail grew from his rear.

"Wh-what happened?" the girl stuttered.

Groaning, Shad rolled onto his side. He felt her terror like a hammer blow against his skull. I mustn't... let her... tell anyone, he thought.Reaching out with his mind, he sent calm towards her... or tried to.

She felt the intrusion and backed away. Shad pushed harder.

*long post, I know. I'll need to be brought in, too.*

Von-

He gasped. It was the girl who had broght him here in the first place! The cute girl who sings really nice. The blond began to blush. He didn't see that both Azen and Sky had saw, and understood. Everyone rushed out of the cages and dashed towards the castle gates, where a man was. (Torn)

Sorry about that, Jack. Don't quit, please.

Shad

Finally he brought the change under control. "Oh, drat," he swore.

The girl had fainted. She lay in the cobbled street, arms outflung. Shad looked both ways, then bent and dragged her up onto the walkway. Next was the tricky part: how to tell someone without arousing suspicion. He looked around, and his eyes settled on a well-dressed man.

"Sir! The girl there... she fainted. I think it's the heat."

The man nodded. "Blow me if this isn't the hottest summer I've seen in years." Muttering to himself, he picked up the girl and started towards an inn.

Shad breathed a sigh of relief. He hated lying, but who would believe the truth?

Sky

Sky walked to the castle gates. She walked out a breathed in the fresh air. Sky's lungs got filledd in with the aroming scent of the Earth. She looked to her side to see the guy who was in the cage next to her.

"I'm glad we're out of there, aren't you?" She asked him, while smiling at him.

Sky

Sky walked up the big warrior. She knocked on the armor, whish made an loud echo. Sky giggled at the apprence of the armor.

"Can you breath?" She asked.

"Yes." The big warrior said.

"Hehe, you're so big." She said looking up at the warrior.

"Uhh, I guess I am." The warrior answered.

"I'm Sky." She said, while taking the warriors hand and shaking it. The armor felt cold against her skin, but she still kept it there.

"I'm Torn."

"Nice to met you, Torn!"

Shad

Now that the girl was safely out of the way, Shad relaxed. He looked around to get his bearings.

A forbidding structure of gray stone caught his attention. It looked like a prison. He took a few steps towards it, then froze as several people burst out of the building.

If "people" was the right word for them, he though. There seemed to be a few humans, a fairy, and what looked like a large fox cub.

"Excuse me," he said. They all jumped. "I'm new here. What's going on?"

Sky

"What's going is that we got captured, and by us I mean us creatures, and got put into cages. Then...I got out using MY powers and the others got out by getting the key by some girl. Now, we are here!" Sky said dramaticly. The guy looked her up and down.

"Oh, by the way, my name is Sky!" She said perkily. She grabbed the guy's hand and asked, "What's yours?"

*I'm changing to first person ^^*

Ballow

I looked around, somehow I had managed to fall asleep. I was till in the cold cage, the iron bars digging slightly into my back.

I wanted to yell but my quiet nature tuned it down and I sighed, "They left me here, didnt they?"

So much for waiting to be rescued. But there was nothing I could do, not in this iron cage, not trapped by myself.

Nothing at all. So I waited, like any sensible person would, for someone to rescue me.

I frowned, depending on people like this wasn't me . . . oh well, it was either be me or die alone.

I crossed my arms in thought, wasn't being me more important?

Licking my lips I closed my eyes, I concentrated on the sound of nothing. But I realised suddenly that - there could NEVER be nothing.

The air.

There was a wind flowing gently through my cage and it beckoned me towards it. Maybe this was my escape?

I bent over and noticed that one of the iron bars had become rusty. And where there was rust there was always a weak spot.

Testing it I put some weight on it, a noise came forth, EWRER. The sound of the iron giving way. I put more weight on it suddenly filled with excited adrenaline.

CRACK.

The iron bar broke and I smiled in amazement. Wonderful. I could squeeze through it, no problem considering my slight frame.

I managed to get through, but my shirt had ripped and I had several scrape across my belly and back. But all in all, I couldn't have been better.

Well, I could've but, then I wouldn't even be here. So . . .

I walked away feeling better than I had before and even slightly proud of myself.

Torn:

"Acctually.. I ws not cappturred." He said " I was invited."

Sky looked at Torn "So were we."

Torn coughed "Acctually, I was not invited for a part or meeting." Sky looked at Torn

"What was it then for?"

Torn pulled his axe from his back, a dead man's head hung from it in two chains that kept it from swinging he tilted the axe a bit. "I was asked here... to keep you in." He said.

Sky just and only just jumpped away from Torn's hit.

Some people are hourglass shaped, some people are apple shaped, some people are pear shaped, some people are even bean pole shaped, but if we’re not careful we all become banana shaped. This is your gentle posture reminder.
