Sky

Sky's eyes fluttered open. Water was dripping on her head. Nobody was around her.

"Oh! No!" Sky yelled, getting up. She ran the the entry and saw Shad and Ballow talking to each. They turned their heads a waved. Sky smiled and waved back.

Sky saw Torn hidding in the trees behind them and started to scream, "Watch-" but got off by the ground shaking. Rocks started to fall to the ground in the tunnel. Sky tried to stop them, but they were muddy and hard to control. They shaking got faster and Sky lost her balance and fell to the ground. Then Sky heard a big bang and suddenly the view of Shad and Ballow were blocked by huge rocks. The tunnel had enclosed her.

Sky went to lift her hands to move the rocks, but something hit her hard and everything went black.

Shad heard Sky shout. Horrified, he saw Torn standing over her.

He fought the urge to change; this wasn't the time to go rushing in. Drawing a knife from his boot, he grimaced. That won't help much... unless I can find a weak spot.

Ballow wasn't so clear-headed. With a yell he threw himself at Torn. The armored giant knocked him away like a pesky fly. He lay, gasping for breath. against a tree.

Shad darted in. He stabbed at a joint between elbow and forearm and was rewarded with a grunt from Torn. Then he, too, went flying.

Cat-like, he twisted and landed on his feet. Torn charged, and he neatly side-stepped. Torn went sprawling.

Sky

Sky's vision can back then went away again. Her vision was blurry and she couldn't see much. She saw movement. Sky got frustrated that she couldn't see. She knew Torn was here and Ballow and Shad were trying to take him down. Sky felt helpless not helping them.

Sky tried to see who was who by making out there outlines. She guessed that the big outline was Torn, so she raised her hand. A big boulder came up from the ground and she flicked her hands hitting the big outline.

"Guys! I can't see!" She yelled, starting to tear. "I can't see!"

Torn:

He was on the ground, the two boys had suprised him. He soon saw a boulder coming at him. Damn!

The boulder hit him on the bad leg. "AARGH!" he shouth out.

In fury Torn took hold of the dragons neck and used his power of change. The dragon started to change back. Torn threw him at the wall of the cave. Ballow jumpped on Torn pulling him down.

But then ballow was thrown of by one of Torn's mutant bunnies that had caught up.

Ballow


Everything had come in a rush; so fast and sudden; when he saw Sky fall he had thrown himself protectively at the assailant with out thought.

He been thrown off and he could now hear Sky screaming.

Something in him clikced; as if falling into place. Someone he cared for was in trouble and now the attacker would pay.

A black mist formed around Ballow as he eyes; usually black turned a sickly ghostly white.

Ballow the person who had been crying was gone; in his place stood someone with his face and body, but it was not him.

An evil smile adorned Ballow's face as he turned to the mutant bunny which had attacked him him. With a flick of his forefinger; the bunny was thrown metres away.

Ballow was hovering over air and he turned maniaclly slowly towards Torn who was lishglty shocked. In this state Ballow was indesrtuctible. but it woulnd't last very long.

Ballow floated slowly towards Torn and his fett made a small cloud of dust kick up as he landed on the floor. What he had done was absolutely scary; no human should have been capable of that, not even a demon should've been.

Torn gripped at his injured leg and Ballow stared at him. With a quick roundhouse punch to Torn's head; he was knocked back at the very least 5o metres.

Torn was unconscious and the screams of Shad and Sky could be heard. It was these srceams that brought back the old Ballow; the one who had been crying a few minutes ago.

The sounds of there taunt and stressed voices brought him back; only to have him take one step towards them.

He fell to the ground; utterly exhausted adn the last thing he saw before blackness claimed him was Shad and Sky tring to get to him.

It gave him a warm feeling before he fainted form lack of energy.

50 metres away Torn was knocked out totally unconscious; he wouldn't be up for awhile.

Sky

Sky vision was still blurry, but Shad finally got to her and was helping her walk by holding her hand. She saw Ballow's outline, he was lying on the ground. Sky got worried. She knew something like this would happen. Shad and Sky finally reached Ballow.

"He's unconscious..." Shad explained.

"Oh no..." Sky answered, getting more worried about this situation.

"Wait, didn't you say earlier you can heal people?" Shad asked.

"Yeah, but it takes a lot of energy. I may not have enough. I can try though. I have to heal myself first, my eyesight isn't right." Sky answered. She put her hands on her temples and her hand glowed a green. Sky vision slowly became normal and she could see Ballow on the floor. Sky placed her hand right above Ballow's chest. Her eyes started to glow green, as did her hands. She felt her energy drain out her to save Ballow. She didn't care that she could faint doing this, all she wanted was everyone to be safe and awake and up and going.

Sky finally used her last amount of energy for Ballow. She slowly started to slip in and out. The last thing she saw was Ballow sit up. She knew she healed him and he was alright.

"Oh, no," Shad muttered.

"What happened?" asked Ballow, rubbing his head.

"Sky healed you, but it took a lot out of her." Shad groaned. Now that the battle was over, he could feel his own wounds. If this keeps up, Torn will beat us for sure. He doubted that even dragonfire could stop the beast.

You know what happened the last time, a dark voice whispered in his mind. You're afraid to lose control. Coward!

Shad grimaced. He remembered, all too clearly. It was something he never wanted to happen again.

Sky

Sky woke up in a cave. The first face she saw was Shad's, she smilled and placed her hand on his cheek.

"Are you okay?" He asked, while placing his hand on hers.

"Yeah, I'm fine. How are you?" Sky asked.

"A few cuts and scapes here and there, but I'm fine." Shad answered. Sky shot up and started to inspect Shad.

"Where?! Let me heal you!" Sky said in a worried voice.

"No! They can heal by themselves! You just woke up. You need more energy to heal. I'm fine really. Calm down." Shad said sternly.

"Fine." Sky said, crossing her arms. Shad only laughed and hugged Sky.

Shad turned away. He was still thinking about the fire. Would he dare use it to protect his friends? What if he had to choose between using it and dying?

Stop that, he told himself firmly. We can defeat him; we've done it three times. If worse comes to worst, we can kill him.

Still, the dilemma ate at his mind. He knew they had to settle accounts with Torn... this time, for good.

Torn:

He was drifting in his pitch black mind. So the other boy had powers too!

This was most troublesome, also his leg was broken wich made matters worse. But he still had his legion of bunnies outside of the cave. Wich was a plus. He drifted to a door that had come out of nowhere.

He stepped in. This place was red and yellow... not orange because the colours didn't mix. There were small creatures with Torn's looks working here. His sub-consiousness. He walked to a chair where sat he himself.

The sub-consious Torn started slapping the sitting Torn.

"Wake up!" He shouted.

Outside of his mind. Torn oppened his eyes.

Can I move? He tried to lift his arm... no he was tied. He could get away, but he would be too weak to fight.

He could use magic, but he was affraid that in the small cave the power would hit him too.

The three kids were around a fire.


Torn didn't see his axe anywhere.

Most troublesome. He had to ask the army of bunnies in.

He did. They came, The three kids shot up, the dragon transforming. Torn broke out of his bonds.

He took hold of the wall.

He jumpped with only one leg till he wound his axe by the fire.

He limbed outside of the cave.

Now! He cathered his force and blew it at the cave, the rocks fell on the mouth,

Inside after few seconds the fire died, the bunnies were dead. But the three kids were in dark and soon without oxygen.

(You sure like to give us a sporting chance, Torn.)

Shad

Coughing, Shad backed away from the entrance. "It's no good. We could spend years trying to move that, but we don't have years."

Sky's eyes met his. "You could use your fire. It would..."

"No!" The shout echoed around the cave. "I can't," Shad said miserably. "I just can't."

Ballow scoffed, "Who's ever hear of a dragon that's afraid of fire?"

The words stung. Without thinking, Shad launched a fiery salvo at Ballow. "Leave me alone!"

Realizing that this could be his chance, the boy held his ground. "Save your anger for those rocks. You'll need it."

Eyes glowing with anger, Shad spun away. He launched a torrent of white-hot flame at the entrance. The rocks glowed but held their shape.

Shad increased his fire. The cave echoed and re-echoed as the rocks trembled. Shad slumped, exhausted.

Torn:

He was standing by the rocks, He heard them trying to escape.

Now they were using fire! Were they idiots? They would use up all of their oxygen.

He waited for a few minutes unttil it had fell silent, before he openned the cave. There they lay on the ground, unconsious. Except for Ballow. "You." He said

Torn walked up to him and kicked his face. He fell unconsious too.

He summoned the rest of his bunny minions... wich were about 10, they tied the kids up and then started following their maste... They were going back to the mansion.

Shad opened his eyes slowly. He was in a cell. With a lurch he sat up.

"I see you have come around." It was the first time he'd heard Torn speak since the day they'd "met." He sounded different... hoarser somehow.

"Go to hell," he snarled.

Torn chuckled. "Very soon you will be wishng you could." He turned away for a minute. Then he held out a set of manacles connected by a long chain. "I'm sure you are familiar with these."

(First I think I'd like to point out, how can Torn kick someone if his leg is broken?)

Ballow

Ballow's eyes flickered open, "Where am I?"

Things clicked as he saw Shad and Sky in manacles connected by a long chain. He followed it with his eyes and saw they held him as well.

His eyes glanced at Sky who was still unconscious, but Shad was awake.

Carefully he whispered quietly to him, "There's a chance of escape if you use your fire."

Shad swallowed for a second then his eyes flicked over to Sky who looked at the very least peaceful.

Ballow stared at him waiting for an answer.
