It's Analogous

Lets try out something new!

This game is to create analogies. Say I first write "elephant is to Africa what mountain lion is to North America." The next person would take the second half of that analogy and write something like: "mountain lion is to North America as my thumb is to my hand." The third person would then start off with: "My thumb is to my hand as..." and so on and so forth.

Here's the starting one:

Clouds are to the sky as lily-pads are to a pond.

lily-pads are to a pond as dirt is to the ground

Dirt is to ground as tree is to leaf.

Tree is to leaf as ear is to pig.

ear is to pig as salt is to french fry

Salt is to French fry as bow is to present.

Pumpkins are to pie as film is to camera.

Film is to camera as fish are to water.

Fish are to water as books are to shelves

Books are to shelves as clothes are to hangers

Windows are to buildings as eyes are to people.
