[Audi Rosario]

Through her slight, faint breath that came through the phone, it pulsed with fear. Fear and uncertainty mixed with a dash of nervousness, but she tried to hide it. She must be hiding something, I thought, sighing. I took a quick glance out the wide widow to my right, green forersts covering the scenery, settling my own emotions.

"Maisy?" I asked, taking careful, slow breaths to sound calm. "Dear, why are you over there?" Each word dripped with remorse and I could tell it was working. I could tell she wanted to say something, but there was hestation.

"I..."

"Go on," I cooed softly, pressing my lips together and keeping the laugh that wanted burst out under control.

From the other end of the phone, I couldn't see her face. But I could picture it by the sound of her breathing, shorter breaths coming in and out. Maisy was close to breaking out in a sob and I couldn't help but smile. It wasn't at her torture, but by the fact that she would still keep the phone on. It was obvious she was battling inside her head whether she would talk or not.

"Maisy, are you still there, my dear?" I asked, letting a small giggle though.

Jason

He stopped just before the door to Kyle's office, seeing someone he'd sworn was an enemy slumped against the wall, phone to her ear. Kyle was standing above her, not looking remotely hostile to her. Another pair of girls stood a few steps in front of him, the elder keeping the younger one behind her protectively.

He rested a hand on her shoulder, "It's alright, Drake. Kyle has things under control, whatever she might be thinking." He nodded in the direction of the girl on the phone.

She jumped a little again, having not heard him arrive, and he grinned, "Good to see you too, how long's it been?"

Maisy

Too many emotions swirled in my head, too many situations that needed to be dealt with. I'd thrown the phone across the room once already and hurriedly picked it back up and resumed the conversation, feeling myself become entangled in her voice, in her control.

"Maisy, are you still there, my dear?" Audi asked, letting a pleasant ripple of laughter follow those harmonic notes. There was something about her voice that willed me to respond, something about her that I couldn't ignore. Perhaps it was my long ingrained sense of obedience or perhaps it was part of her ability.

"I'm here," I whispered. "I'm..." I clenched my teeth together. I'm not going to tell you where I am, I asserted in my mind but I could feel my resolve slipping.

"That's it," Audi cooed. "Where are you, Maisy? Are you a long way from home?"

"Yes, I'm..." I jumped and found myself jerked out of what had almost been a trance as a familiar voice cut through the quiet of the room.

"Good to see you too, how long's it been?" Jason spoke again. And quickly, with great difficulty, I de-materialised my phone. One moment it was there and the next, it was gone. Completely. The young woman at the door let out an involuntary gasp and tried to hide the child further who was watching me with... fascination? I took a deep breath, half a sob, and curled myself up against the wall before replying:

"A... about two months."

"Really? Seems longer," Jason said. Casually. I half expected a blinding tower of light to scorch my eyes and temporarily remove my sight (as had happened once before) but instead, he casually entered the room and stood beside Kyle.

"What's going on?" the older girl asked. Drake, my mind said. Jason called her Drake, while I was on the phone... right. I settled back into my observation mode, lips pressed gently together and ears listening.

"This is Maisy," Kyle introduced.

"She's been working for our adversaries, a real fire starter," Jason added but there was no malice in his tones, there was... humour?

"She wants to join us," Kyle said. Even Jason looked taken aback at that. Do I? I wondered. Am I just pretending? Or do I want to...

Just a side note on Maisy's ability:

When she materializes something, it comes from someone else so each time she makes an object appear, she's actually de-materialized it from somewhere and re-materialized it where she is. Therefore she can't materialize anything that does not exist.

Also, should she de-materialize anything, it is usually completely gone. With enough effort and concentration, Maisy can force a small object to re-materialize elsewhere but this has to be done within a few minutes of it being de-materialized and the ability does not stretch to larger objects. In other words, if she wills something like a TV to be gone, it is gone for good.

"Oh," I furrowed my brows momentarily, but then let out a playful laugh, shutting the phone and setting it gently on the table.

"Well?" Nathaniel asked.

I grinned and fingered the cover of the phone absently as I replied, "I think I know where she is," the air of pride and subtle calmness that was behind the initial pulsation of fear was still swirling around the room. Faint, but definite. "Mr. Goody-two-shoes was in the background."

Nathaniel was quiet for a moment then nodded, standing up and stretching. I did the same and stuck the cellphone back into my pocket. We stood there in silence for a few beats and I shuddered, just noticing the slight breeze that was going through the building. I wonder where my jacket had run off to?

Silence.

"Shall we both pick her up, Nathaniel?" I asked impatiently, goosebumps rising on my arms from the chill.

Jason - Light - New York

"Join us?" He asked, "You can't be serious."

"It's what she says, Jason. As she told whoever was on the other end of that call, she never got to pick her side."

Jason looked even more surprised, shooting Kyle a glance before looking back to Maisy, "Hm. I see." He shook his head, "Sorry, it's just hard to believe. I guess I always thought, y'know, like father like daughter. That sort of thing. And you know how your father was..." He trailed off, then looked up at Kyle again, "Is this what you brought me in for?"

He shook his head, "No, she showed up just before you got here."

"What's up, then? I mean aside from this?"

Nathaniel - Blood - Venice, Italy

I shook my head, glancing momentarily in Audi's direction. "No, we'll leave her there. At least for now. The longer she stays, the more she knows when we get her back."

Audi grinned mischievously. "Sounds like a plan."

I raised an eyebrow and moved to pour myself another cup of coffee, keeping it well away from the girl.

"Well, today is promising to be an interesting day."

Kyle - Weather - New York, New York

I cast a final, worried glance at Maisy before turning my complete attention to the other familiar faces in the room.

"We...have a problem."

Jason frowned. "Problem? What kind of problem?"

I sighed, running a hand through my hair. Honestly, I didn't know what kind of problem we had. I just had a feeling that something really bad was about to happen. Something that, if we didn't act against it soon, could turn disastrous.

"I don't know," I answered as honestly as I could. "But it's going to be bad. And we need to be prepared."

Maisy; Matter; New York

"Well clearly they know our location," Jason said. I half expected him to dart a look in my direction but it seemed I was being ignored for the moment. That was definitely okay by me. I relaxed a little and settled back into my cross legged position. "And I think we should move Drake and Sylvia to a safe house."

Safe house? Do they not let their females fight here? But that couldn't be right. I've fought against Leal before and Marrissa... I looked to the young woman and her... sister? Daughter? What makes them special? Drake was chewing her lip as if torn between two thoughts. Probably the urge to protect Sylvia and the desire to fight. Those were common conflicts for the storybook heroes I'd read about.

"No," Kyle said. "I doubt they plan to attack us directly."

"But then why's she here?" Jason demanded. "Coincidence much? Something's brewing over there and then one of them turns up on our doorstep asking to join us?" His head swiveled my direction, his green eyes more intent and fierce than I'd seen them before. From what I knew of Jason, he could be real hot-headed but not violent. So I didn't flinch. I sat still and blinked calmly at him.

"Hey, what's going on in... here," Marissa hesitated, moving further into the room slowly, her pretty lips pursed in confusion as her gorgeous cocoa skin paled a little. Young Azrael followed her, looking a little stunned but smiling as usual as he took a seat.

"Get ready for the fireworks," he said happily. And right on cue, Leal exploded into the room.

"What the hell? Why is she here?" Leal's hands flared up and even her own team shied away a little. I can feel the heat from here, should I... no, don't move. Sit perfectly still.

Edward- New York- Darkness- Bad

I stood a good distance away and saw the girl attack all the people of the crowd. She wasn’t an ordinary human nor and ordinary element. There was something wrong with her eyes.

She looked towards my direction and I saw the conflict. Pity the person who is under their control.

I saw enough and (in my personal shroud) vanished from her sight and walked off, remembering why I was in New York. I needed to track down Maisy and hope Nathaniel didn’t find her first. If she betrayed her loyalties, I wanted to slit her throat first.

(Sorry for the morbid expression at the end.)

…………………….

Kathy- Cairo Egypt- Sound- Guardian

I ran into the room and found everybody was there. What the heck? I basically called everyone. How did they get here before me?

I shook the thoughts and sat down, Noah looking at each of us before speaking.

ANTONIUS, Venisse, Bad:

Antonius was at one of Venises many outside markets. He was buying some food.

The man selling him food, was a fairly old man. He was trying to sell Antonius some tomatoes on a rip off price..

Antonius read his mind, and then came down to the man and whispered something to the man's ear. The man went tottaly pale, and then gave Antonius a bucketfull of tomatoes... for free.

Antonius chucled as he walked away.

Larella

The man had simply walked off after taking a glance at her.

Oh how i wish i was never cursed with this element... When she peeked at the fight going on she gasped in her head, a lot of the people were now bleeding profusely. She took a mourn in silence for everyone that her body had murdered if they were dead.

Her body suddenly jerked away from the scene and went in the same direction as the man she had seen.

Oh dear, please walk faster. Don't let them get you. He looked behind him and started to walk faster, he detoured into a dark alley.

GET OUT OF MY HEAD! She screamed in her useless thought. One of the spirits left, then all of them followed after one by one. She fell to her knees, and lifted her own hand grinning.

Yes! I beat them, I won the battle. Larella stood up and peeked up to where the man was.

Oh no, he's going to run just like everyone else. She thought preparing for his reaction.

((Lorelai--Wind--Guardian--Cairo, Egypt))

Lorelai watched as Carson came in and sat down. The room stayed quiet for a while. The shuffling of Noah's feet had ceased as he stopped turning in his chair. His eyes were locked with what seemed to the the opposite wall. The room seemed to grow sluggish, Lorelai yawned, taking in a giant breath. For a moment the air in the room seemed to be nonexistent, then everyone started coughing.

Lorelai blinked and smacked her head. "Shoot. Sorry about that." She finally realized she had taken in a bit too much of the oxygen in the closed off room.

Carlson smiled faintly. "Why is it that the Guardians have to have the careless child?"

Lore stuck her tongue out like a toddler. "Not my fault wind is hard to control."

Carlson scoffed in amusement. "So, what are we waiting for exactly?"

Noah's eyes were still locked, he didn't seem to have been blinking. Lorelai was starting to grow worried. A tremor in her mind sent a gust of wind toward Noah, causing him to blink furiously. His eyes went to his eyes and managed to grimace and grin simultaneously. "Yes, Lorelai?"

Lore crossed her arms, green-gold eyes regarding Noah. "Are we here waiting for my power to go berserk and kill us all or are we gonna do something before that happens?"

"Is this something I need to worry about?" Noah asked, regaining his sight and leaning back in his chair.

Lore groaned, letting her head fall back. "No, I can control myself well enough. Just a joke. Now seriously, what was with the staring contest?"

Noah shrugged. "I was waiting for Kathy."

Kathy raised her eyebrows. "I'm right here, deary."

Noah jumped a bit. He looked to his side quizzically. "When did you get back?"

Kathy brow furrowed in disbelief. "I've been standing here ever since I finished your calls."

He paused for a moment and shrugged. "Sure, I guess I zoned out for longer than I thought." He grinned.

Katy, two chair over from Lore, rolled her eyes. "So? What is this about?"

[Audi Rosario - Emotion - Bad - Venice, Italy]

"Not really, it's been sort of bland if you ask me--and don't say you didn't." I pulled out the earphones and turned off the music I had been listening to in the background of everything else.

"But I didn't," he took a sip of the coffee and half-smiled at my frown.

As Nathaniel made his way over to the window on the wall opposite the doorway, obviously keeping the coffee cup a safe distance away, I walked over to the cappicino machine and got a cup of my own.

"I'm not going to swip it, calm down." I laughed, sending off a pulse of calmness throughout the room.

For a moment, the room was silent again and a thought crossed my mind. If Maisy was in New York, I was here with Nathaniel, then where was the rest?

"Where's Antonius?"

"In the market,"

"And Edward?"

Nathaniel looked at me and his brow furrowed in a sort of irritated look. I looked into the glass between my two hands and noticed that he hadn't been in the building just the amount of time Maisy had, probably a little less. The brown liquid swirled like abstract shapes and I felt the coldness of the air seep through the walls again.

I had to get conversation going. "I'm going to call him,"

Nathaniel didn't respond as I pulled out my cellphone once again, dailing a different number and still keeping mine hidden. Half a second later it started ringing.

Edward-

My phone rang. Great. I just knew that it was Audi even though the number was hidden. Only a matter of time before Nathaniel wondered where one of his lackies went. This wasn’t a good time to answer, but I did anyway.

“What do you want?” I snarled in the phone.

“Now, now Edward. That’s not any way to say hello.” Audi’s smooth voice came through. It sent a chill down my spine, but I ignored it. I never liked to use emotions, and if I didn’t have any, she couldn’t hurt me. Right?

“I’ll ask again. What do you want?”

………………………..

I just want to know, is Larella already on the bad side or is she just a renegade that will join up?

Antonius= mind= bad= venice:

He was now ready with his shoppings. He was walking through the city to Where Nathaniel and Audi were.

He had joined the bad soon after noticing his power.
He had always been intrequed by evil. It was like a dream come true. Although he wasn't as subtel as the others, he wasn't a totall wreck. He liked to brag with his skills, even though he knew no one listened.

HE just was that way.

As he walked on an alley he soon found his empty condoll and hopped in. he started rowing.
