I've matured a lot and I realised it was time to come back.. for good!
I noticed an un-touched Flying-V in the corner of the room, already hooked up to the amp.
I couldn't resist. I walked over to it slowly. Turned on the amp. And played the hardest, heaviest, most brutal riff I could think of. I glanced up and noticed everyone staring at me, mouths and eyes wide open. I blushed, and put down the guitar. "I didn't mean to show off" I mumbled.
"Sounds good." "I'm in." A smile spread across her face.
I picked the guitar back up and turned the amp back on.
"Ever heard of Disasterpiece, by Slipknot?" I asked. She nodded her head.
I played the hardest solo in the whole song for her.
"Do I qualify?" I asked her.
I laughed. "Alright, awesome." I said, setting down the guitar gently.
"If you want, after school, I'll drive you to my place, show you some of my guitars." I said.
I walked her out to my car. It was a Brand new Scion, black and slick. I opened up the passenger door. "Climb in." I said, as she got into the car.
I opened up the drivers door sat down and put the key in the ignition. Suddenlt the engine roared to life, but very silently.
I backed out of the parking space.
by the time we were on the road, we began to make small talk.
"It's gonna be about a 20 minute ride." I said.
