I had finally found my room when i heard a crowd of people walking down the corridor talking about some ceremony, so I figured it would be a good idea for me to follow them.
I dropped my one small bag in my abysmal room and tagged on to the end of their group. Thankfully, I didn't attract anyone's attention and made it to a great hall in time to snag a seat near the back.
The hall was amazing.
It was near the size of a football pitch, with tall, proud pillars lining its sides. Atop each of these pillars was a ball of golden light, though I could not tell from where this light was coming. The entire hall was filled by beautiful, mahogany chairs and every one of those chairs was filled by a student and yet more students filled any available floor space, all fighting to get as close to the front as possible. This was when I noticed the front of the hall.
At the far end of the hall I could just make out all manner of wonderful creatures stood to attention, as if awaiting some higher being. Tey did ot have to wait long, as a woman who looked like she could move the Earth itself strode confidently out in front of the mass of young (and old) faces.
*if you don't like any of this just ignore it. i could probably do better*
**since I sort of pulled everyone into the whole welcoming ceremony I will write the speeches and such in my next post. That won't be until tomorrow though so fi someone doesn't want to wait go right a head and write them.**
**Lol. that's fine. I especially like the description of Ms. Kent. =p** **Octerber, Sit by alex. He'll flirt with her a lot. XD**
Alex:
I sighed. The thing was already boring! I had heard it so many times! I turned to look at th entrancing siren, and grinned. Maybe tonight won't be so bad afterall...especially if another girl sts on my right.
Aurora:
I blushed when Sir Rous looked at me. I smiled though, until Ms. Kent walked in and onto the stage. Her very presence commanded and demanded respect from others. I gave her my full attention out of respect.
Ms. Kent:
I walked out onto the stage, eyeing the students cooly. I knew a lot of Freshman were in fear of me. Rumors circulated about my harsh punishments, but the truth was I cared for each and every one of them. it was hard, trying to be a women principle in a magical school, and also trying to be understanding and sympathetic. Because of this, I tended to seem a little strict and cold, but that's how I liked it.
I smiled coldly at the faces bfore. "Welcome, one and al, to the Accademy for Gifted Magical Creatures, better known as AGMC. Most of you are new to this school, and I congradulate you on your acceptance into our school. The rest it is good to see again. Hopefully I will get o know all of you better, but I sincerely desire not to see you in my office."
there was a slight nervous chuckle, then I continued. "It is a great privilage to be at our school, and I sincerely wish for you to take advantage of the oppertunities provided by this school. Many of you have trouble with your abilities, and our job as your masters, trainers, and teachers is to help you master your creature.
With that said, I demand the upmost respect from all of you for those in charge. ANY disrespect frm anyone, and you could be expelled. It is a privilage to be here, not a right.
Also, there will be NO sexual intercourse allowed on campus! Because of the overwhelming amount of students who were accepted into AGMC, there is some coed dorms. I hope this will not be a problem, but it maybe for some of you.
Another rule we have here is that magic and any form of magic activities is to be practiced on campus or in front of other magical creatures ONLY. If this rule is broken, your training will be suspended for two weeks on your first offense. If you don't believe me, talk to some of our...trouble makers. I'm sure they know first hand.
Now that most of that is out of the way, let's introduce our teachers, shall we?"
This place was so strange, so populated, so...overwhelming. I inhaled deeply, feeling nervous as the students around me shifted, applauded, and whispered amongst themselves.
I just hope I fit in, here...
Ronar - Dragon - Teacher
I only half as the other teachers introduced themselves and their subjects. I knew them personally, and we were good friends. When the turn came around to me, I stood briefly and waved at the crowd of students. "I'm Ronar. I teach all courses concerning dragons."
With that, I sat down again and let the ceremony continue.
**Sorry, gotta go now. Got homework already!**

***ok I have no idea what to post so please I'm begging you just bear with me***

I sat down next to a random guy picked out of the lot, he smiled at me and I flirtasiously smiled back. Being a were-cat wasn't easy. I looked like a human barbie doll in human form but I looked like a black panther in cat. My eyes always looked so beautiful especially since I had 'cat's eye' I watched as the teachers introduced themselves. I rolled my eyes, I could get away with anything.
"Hey." A voice rang in my ears, a new voice, time to make new friends.... oh goodie.
We're meant to be one
I know we are...
If I am the Sky
Then you are my star... ™
I smiled. "I'm Alex. And what is your name gorgeous?" I asked flirtatiously, glad to have someone to flirt wth. I hated opening ceremonies. They were horrid! I could practically feel Ms. kent's eyes on me the whole time. I smirked at the fair eyed damsel beside me. Being a senior rocked sometimes. I caught sight of some freshman behind me and winked. they giggled and one practically swooned. I turned my attention back to the lovely girl on my right. surrounded by girls...just the way I likd it.
***sure why not? lol why not make it more interesting ***
Robyn
"Yeah, what's up with them and all their rules? It's like something crawled up their butts and died. I mean why should we have to listen to them?" I glared at all the teachers but I made sure none of them heard or saw me.
"I know what you mean." Alex glared at them too.
"So what are you?" I asked him trying to smile to turn his attention back.
"Dragon. What about you?"
"Very impressive, you don't get much of an honor to meet dragons anymore. I'm a-" I looked down.
"Ima were-cat and a witch." I shrugged still smiling at him.
We're meant to be one
I know we are...
If I am the Sky
Then you are my star... ™
I smiled, lifting her chin so her eyes met mine. "That's nothing to be ashamed of. Although I am sorry for you. You have to have Ms. Kent's class. she's pretty tough." I chuckled. "And thank you. I love being a dragon. Maybe I'll take you for a ride sometime." I joked.
She was fun. she was flirty, untamable, unpredictable. I liked that, because I could be that way. I chuckled. "You do realize hanging around me could mean a bad rep for you, right? I'm one of the trouble makers of this school."
"Rous, why don't you introduce yourself to the students? I'm sure some will be interested to meet you."
I slid my knees from the seat of the chair and stood up. The lollipop was already half gone and I had just found another flavor, spicy. I really didn't want to take it out now, but I new she wouldn't leave me alone about it later until I did.
"Hello everyone," I started, unsure, well, uncaring of what I said. They would mean me soon enough in class. "I am Sir Rous, the teacher of mystical cooking." a wave of mumbles swept through the crowd. "I'm sure some of you will be wondering my age or why I look so young. Truthfully, I'm seventeen years old and--" I felt a bubble of air rise in my throat, but this felt hot. Too hot.
Before I could realize what was about to come out, it did. A huge ball of flame burst out of my mouth and disappeared above the mass of students. They all looked up with their mouths hanging open.
"Sir Rous!" Mrs. Kent said in shock and probably a little disgust. "Please excuse yourself!"
I ignored her, suddenly fascinated with the candy. I took a bite, the sound crackled throughout the room, echoing off the walls. And then, I blew. This time an even bigger ball of fire blew out of my mouth. It spread to all the corners of the walls and I'm pretty sure a little bit squeezed through the cracks between the door. The curtains that draped around the stage caught fire.
"Rous! What have you done!" Mrs. Kent practically screamed.
I popped the sucker back into my mouth and turned to face the principal, my eyes glancing over the student body's wide eyes and agape mouths. "Mrs. Kent, I think it's time to call the fire department again."
Ronar laughed aloud. "This is just might be the earliest you've set the place on fire Rous! I think it's a new record!" I couldn't help but smirk back at him.
