Alex:
I sighed. "Let's not call it a date then. Just...a friendly get together?" I dropped my voice so only she could hear. "I don't like messing with people, okay? I do flirt a lot...but no one should take it serious. If I am serious about someone, I'll tell them, okay?"

Then I walked away casually towards my bed, stretching out and closing my eyes contentedly.

As I lay on my bed listening to Fatboy Slim's Rockafeller Skank and musing over my first day in this hell-hole, i thought one thing...this was gonna be shit unless i could find someone to talk to.
But who...they'd need to be able to put up with my dark tone and down right disturbing sense of humour not to mention my absurb taste in music. They'd probably have to be insane I decided, And I think they'd be worried about things more important than your music collection...though you should sort out that Bowling for Soup obsession, it's not right for someone of your dark nature. Great i was beginning to talk to myself, i really needed to find someone to talk to.
I also wondered where tiger had got to [smirks at irony that a black cat is called tiger].

Wonder what night life is like around here I wondered.Time to go check it out

**He could run into Aurora?**

Aurora:

I wasn't tired this evening. I knew we had early morning classes, but I didn't really care. I sighed and walked towards the coffee house, grabbing something to drink and sittin down with a good book, wondering if any one would be around.

Rose Fairy Sophmore.

I stiffled my giggles, I liked this group.

"So what about you?" the boy Alex said as he perched on the edge of my bed.

"What about me?" I muttered wishing I had a book to hide my face behind.

"Where are you from?"

I pointed up at the picture on the wall, "that's my family, before..." I turned my eyes away.

"Before what?"

Did this guy ever shut up? "Before the humans found our part of the woods."
I just lost the game.

I wondered through the school grounds, I noticed an inviting building and, although 'inviting' wasnt really my thing, i figured i'd check it out anyway (i was that bored).

I pressed my nose up against the window and checked the place out. It looked...cosey [shudder] and there was a girl sat in there reading a book. Here goes nothing I thought and made my way towards the door...

Alex:

I looked at the gir. She looked like she was about to cry. Even though I was a huge flirt and a jerk sometimes, I was a really good friend. I could be sweet when I wated, or when people got to know me.

I walked over to Rose and pulled her into my arms. I held her tightly, waiting for her to cry and just trying to be supportive.

Aurora:

I heard some one walk in and saw a boy. I smiled at him. He seemed a bit uncomfortable. I walked over to him. "Hey. I'm Aurora. what's your name?" I asked kindly.

[Sir Rous]

I laughed along with the other teacher, he had my sense of humor, sort of. Then I quickly told him goodbye and turned around, heading for the library for a cook book. Not that I haven't read all of them before, but I did want to find something extra special for the first classes tomorrow.

The hall quickly filled back up with students and the other two teachers. It was a surprise how we could keep this school going with just three teachers and hundreds of students. I passed them quickly, hoping not to get caught up in the crowd behind me. Quickly, my eyes spotted Aurora's red hair a few feet away.

"Aurora!" I called out, hoping on a few of the student's heads to get to her quicker. I couldn't help but grin when then I heard a couple shout, "Hey!"s below me.

The student turned around and, as if on cue, her face turned a bright red, almost matching her hair. My smile faded back to its usually bored expression as I head-hopped my way to her.

"D-did you just jump on their--"

"Well it didn't kill them so I don't think I'll get in trouble. Anyway, I need to talk to you about something."

She didn't respond verbally, but her face did. It looked it a little wary to me, like I had just caught something that she happened to want to keep a little more secretive. I pulled her along as I made my way through the crowd and back to my classroom. She sat in one of the front desks; the one she typically sits in. I grabbed the teapot off of the only stove in the room--I rarely used it--and poured myself a glass.

"Would you like some?"

"Oh, um, no, I'm fine."

Another thing she normally did that I've caught. I sat in my leather seat nonchalantly and pulled my knees up. The sweet peach tea warmed my throat, the smell engulfing the room.

"Aurora," I began in my quiet voice. "you've taken my class every year if I'm right. Am I?" she nodded, her face getting that pinkish hue it usually did when I was talking to her. "You've sat in the same seat up front; you don't seem to be incredibly excited when you come to this class and it doesn't look like you love cooking like some of the others who really go out of their way to make their creations bigger and better; you're very quiet during my class. These are all small things that I've noticed.

"But I do have one more, you blush each time I look or talk to you." I smirked slightly here. "It sort of does amuse me actually, in a cute way. And," I took another sip of the tea and then looked up to her to see what her reaction would be. "if I'm not wrong, I think you've got a little crush on me."

**Um...I donzt know which one to go with. Lol. I have an idea.**

Aurora:

I blushed. "Um...Just a romantic fiction.." then I saw Sir Rous. He took me into his office...and told me he knew I had a crush on him!

My eyes widened and I looked down at my feet. "Y...yes sir." I mumbled. I had no idea how he would react to my confession. Maybe I could transfer classes. It wasn't like we had really started yet anyways..Maybe Ms. Kent would let me transfer?

Tim (really got to do something about that name...)

Phew! I got out of that easily enough. Hmmmm...books...library I think I had my next target. Now where the hell was the library?

Three hours later

As I perused the pages of some book I'd picked up from the library called The Bible (it had rave reviews, apparently it started a religion or something. I can't believe I hadn't heard of it before, bit slow to start but once you got past Part 1 then it got really exciting) I wondered through the schools halls, sad that I still hadn't found someone to talk to.
Just as I was thinking this I walked right into someone. Sadly this person didn't seem wquite as happy about our chance encounter as I was.
"Watch where you're going a**hole!" Charming I thought, I had to know more about her.
She stormed past me but I wasn't getting got rid of that easily *was that proper english?* and I started walking beside her.
"Hi, really sorry about that. I'm Tim by the way" Damn that queer name
"Shalynn" the girl sighed and quickened her pace.
"Hey! Wait up" I fell back in step with her, "If you don't mind me askin', what...species are you?"
"Demon" this girl didn't like conversations; a girl after my own, twisted heart.
"Me too! Where are you going?" I think I sounded too excited, time to tone it down a bit.
"Lessons" she replied.
"I should really go to some of them..." sadly that wasn't a joke, "What classes are you taking?"

*i wonder if i'll ever get a reply to this, when was the last time Firearris posted on this storybook?*

Ronar

I went to my own classroom, sitting down at the desk. I had two "classrooms," actually. This one, and the field. The field was for the more advanced lessons, like transforming, flight, and airborne battle tactics. The classroom was for everything else.

This should be interesting. I can't wait to see what talented dragons I have this year.

[Sir Rous]

I fought to keep from spitting out the tea from shock. I had the idea that she did, but I didn't even consider her admitting it. Well, if she was going to tell me, she might as not sound so scared. I squinted my eyes at her, my brow furrowing. "Your lying, aren't you?"

"No, I'm not." her voice was almost inaudible.

I bit my bottom lip to keep from smiling. "I think you are, you sounded terrified."

"I'm not lying, I really do like you!" She caught me then; her handed clamped over her mouth and she looked back down at her feet.

I took another sip of the almost empty glass; tilting my head to aside; staring into the porcelain cup with the light brown liquid swishing around inside. "Well, since I'm a teacher I can't very well ask you on a date. But, there isn't any rule about you asking me." my eyes wandered back up to her bewildered face.

Truthfully, I didn't know if I liked her. That wasn't how I worked, I didn't judge on appearance--even thought I did think she cute. Small features, bright red hair, gorgeous eyes... If she really did like me, she couldn't be so afraid to say it... or do anything about it for that matter. What could it hurt to giver a chance anyway?, I mused silently.

I shoved against Alex's chest trying to get him to let go of me. Maybe he thought I was going to cry, but I didn't cry.

"Sorry," he said, "you looked like you were about to cry."

"I don't cry," I said and dug into my bag for my schedule.
I just lost the game.
