Am I still allowed to join????

If so:

Name: Jewel Fantasii (that's what Rusty named her when they found her)
Age: 15
Appearance: She has a metallic "jewel-bright" star tattooed on her forehead, thus the name, Jewel. She has fiery red hair and bright blue eyes like: http://anzya91.deviantart.com/art/red-70517546. That is what I imagine her to look like.
Personality: She is quiet and perseptive, but always ready to give her opinion on someting she feels strongly about. She loves to have time to herself to think and write songs on the beaten up old circus piano. She is a briliant piano player. She is open for love.
Circus Role: Musician. She plays piano amazingly with her feet, and takes requests for complicated songs from the audience. She hates playing for the circus, and hopes to run away when she turns 18.
Other: Her parents left her lying on a set of train tracks when she was 3, where Rusty and a gypsy found her. She knows nothing of her parentage, and has nightmares about her past. She often has violent tremors, and lapses into other people's minds.

Jewel is in love with cowboy, too!

~JEWEL~

The circus tent was empty. Thank god, I thought, and I slipped through the entrance.
A spotlight still shone like a beacon on the circus's grand piano, Betsy. I wondered if Cowboy was still here. I snuck up to the piano, and ran the tips of my fingers lightly across the keys' surfaces. Pianos were like home to me. I began to play.
My new song began lightly, cheerfully, but it soon turned dark and heavy, and my fingers pressed passionately against the keys. My mind was consumed by the music, and I was barely thinking, I was just being.
I heard a buzzing noise, and my fingers slid off the keys.
I spun around. Cowboy.
He was smiling softly and giving me an appreciative look.
"That was beautiful," he whispered gently.
I almost swallowed my tongue.
"Thank you," I said, passion still lingering in my fingers, and seeping out into my words.
Suddenly, the world shook around me, and a ripping noise tore me from my mind.
Words like "beautiful", "love", and "passion" echoed in my brain, and images of Cowboy and I together, holding hands, kissing, and sharing secrets throbbed, throwing themselves across my line of vision.
These were Cowboys thoughts. His desires. My desires.
I felt a terrible pain in my leg, and I heard the loud banging as my body was thrown against Betsy's keyboard.
Then, there was nothing

Rogue (Robyn)

I fixed my hair in the mirror, it scared me of how long I hadn't looked at myself. I was usually a very calm person but the image in the mirror made me angry, I smashed the mirror, Rusty would be so angry, but I'd just say it was an accident I ran out of the building and began walking no where in particular.

Charlie "Jester"

Ajax and I concluded the part of the show that included the lions and led them out of the ring. They padded softly behind, occasionally sounding a soft grunt or snort.

"Can you handle them tonight, Charlie? I have some other things Rusty asked me to get done."

I nodded at the older Lion Trainer. "'Course, Ajax."

"Thanks," he muttered before turning and jogging away in the direction of the Ticket Booth. I led the two lions into their cages and shut the door, laying a few scraps of meat and a fresh supply of water on the floor for them.

Brushing my hands off on my pants and readjusting my hat, I stared around the circus grounds. Not much activity yet, but the show was almost over. I figured Rusty would want me near the exit, as he normally did, preforming for the guests on their way out.

Deciding to go ahead and go there before Rusty found and yelled at me, I turned and followed Ajax towards the ticket booth and exit, glancing around for anyone else I would know.

Chase

As soon as the show ended I started moving toward the exit. I could probably get away this time, the crowd was a far larger than it normally was.

No doubt Rusty had anticipated that, however, as I could see the clowns performing just near the ticket booth. Nothing as outrageous as they did in the ring, just a few little skits designed to get some extra coins from the audience. I shivered, immediately beginning to move away from the exit. Whether or not the crowd was big, they'd pick me out easily.

I turned and walked back towards my tent, hoping that Rusty wouldn't notice me trying to avoid work again.

Cowboy-

Cowboy woke with a start from his dream, a bead of sweat ran down his forehead and he wiped it away quickly. He sat up and checked on the children and made sure the fire was still burning before walking off towards the sound of the music, Jewel's music. They exchanged barely two words before he was pushing her against the piano, pressing his lips to her. He was taking a chance, finally going for what he wanted, what he needed. Damn his memories. He tried to push the flashing images from his mind, but the more he kissed Jewel the more vivid the images became.
He was running through the forrest, they were on the move again; they were always on the move. Laughter could be heard moving through the trees and the warm sun betrayed his vision by casting shadows where nothing stood. "Where are you?" he muttered. Laughter came from three different angles. He spun around in the clearing he found himself standing in. He sunk down into the tall, warm, grass eyes darting until he found a pair of tan feet, black spirals of tattoos running around the left ankle. He smiled before jumping up from hiding and grabbing the young girl around the waist, sending them both into the grass.
----------------------------------------------------
"Run cowboy!" she said in a hurried hushed tone, "Run!"
"Why?" he reached for her waist.
"You can't be here, they're looking for you." She whispered pushing him away from her. His charm wasn't going to defeat her will.
"I only did it to save you." He answered pulling her close to him despite her struggle.
"No, none of them trust you now, you killed one of your own, one of our own." She was crying now, he was a monster in her eyes. In all of their eyes. "Shah told the police that you're here, you have to go, they'll take you to jail, or they'll hang you." Amara lifted the hem of the colorful tent to let him escape.

"Damn." he said pulling away from Jewel, he ran his fingers through his hair. Did she know how he felt about her, did he even know how he felt about her. Or was it just because she reminded him of..of what? Memories he pushed out of his mind, a past that haunted him? What was he doing her. Cowboy looked at Jewel then turned and walked away. Damn him.

Dent lay awake for a very long time. To sleep was to have nightmares. To have nightmares was to lose sleep. Either way, he wouldn't be able to think clearly tomorrow, so why not take the smoother route?

He rolled onto his back to stare up at the stars, but they gleamed like Emerald's eyes had in the firelight. Especially when she laughed.

With a quick sigh, he rolled over onto his side. No, that was too familiar. Emerald would always push him back onto his back, telling him that it was too easy for enemies to sneak up on him if he was on his side.

With a frustrated growl, he stood and walked away. He was awake, and the nightmares still persisted to haunt him.
Where are we going?

Lark

The last customer finally departed. I heard music in the main tent and followed it. I saw Jewel lean against the piano as Cowboy kissed her for a long time. Finally, they broke apart and he stared at her a second before getting up and making his way towards the tent entrance, muttering to himself. I pressed myself up against the tent and covered myself in the loose tent flap, holding my breath. I heard him curse and walk away. I unraveled myself from the tent flap, closed my eyes and sighed. I couldn't believe what I just saw. Taking a deep breath I opened my eyes and jumped. Dent was standing two feet away from me. He had obviously been standing there while I was pondering.

"Uh, Dent! Hi!" I stammered, trying to be cheerful.

"Lark, can you read my fortune?" he asked me, sounding rather anxious.

"Well, I guess so..." I said hesitantly. Why would he need his fortune read?

Cowboy was kissing me passionately, and then, suddenly, we stopped. I could see the regret in his eyes. Were my insights wrong? Did he not love me as I thought he loved me? Because, if he did love me, he wouldn't be walking away from me now.
"Cowboy," I whispered.
He barely turned his head as he glanced back. His face was full of resolve. Resolve not to love me.
I began to cry. I let my feelings out into the piano, softly letting my fingers settle upon the keys. A soft ballad of melancholy and agony. My hands twisted and turned as I became angry. How could Cowboy kiss me like that and just walk away?
I pounded the keys. I felt hatred. Hatred for myself, being so undesirable, hatred for the circus and all of Rusty's pointless orders.
I wasn't eighteen yet, but I knew I was mature enough to handle this.
Tears ran down my face as I played my last note, and I ran from the stage and to the tent's exit.
Cowboy was still lingering there. He tried to talk to me, but I shoved past him. I'd never know why he let his past get in the way of his love.
I passed Ajax at the ticket booth, and Flip feeding the lions. Finally, I got to my tent.
I stopped abruptly at the entrance, and turned to see Cowboy running after me. I grabbed my small bag--all neatly packed and ready--and turned to leave.
He stood at the door.
"Jewel. Don't go," he begged.
My stupid tear ducts went wild again. "What, so you can leave me for your past? The past is over. Let it go. Tell me when you grow up." My words were biting.
Cowboy's face was full of pain and fury. "You have no clue what happened in my past, Jewel! You think that because you are so special, you can tell me when to let go?"
I narrowed my eyes. "I loved you. You loved me, too, but you let your past get in the way. You act like I didn't have difficulties before I came here. You act like you're the only one who had it bad. Well, take a look, Christian Neyland: Look at us! We were left, abandoned, forgotten. My parents tried to kill me, for their own benefit!
"My life has been hard. I'm dead to my only family. But, I've moved on. Honey, you haven't." My voice was softer now. "I'm leaving. Let Rusty figure it out. Lark may be able to tell what will happen in your future, but I'm the only one who can know what happened in your past, Cowboy. You just lost the one person here who could understand. Goodbye, Cowboy."
I walked out of the tent, out of the campgrounds, and away from my life. Maybe I'd go back later. Maybe.

Cowboy-

Cowboy wanted to yell and hit something, she didn't understand him at all. Where did she get off telling him to grow up? She had no idea how many grown up things he had dont, and how grown up is she leaving, running away from the circus? She won't even last two minutes on her own, she'll be killed. She'll be killed. Cowboy went pale. What had he done?

He had to find her fast, then he could push his anger aside and explain the curse, he would tell her everything. They needed eachother and they both knew it. He ran off in the same direction she had gone, he needed to find her and bring her back before morning so Rusty wouldn't find out.

He ran through the woods using something else from his past to find her, trying to keep the memories at bay the whole time. He finally came to a clearing and saw her, laying on the ground. He was too late. Her hand moved, he wasn't too late.

"Ow." She muttered rolling on to her back and sitting up. She reached for her ankle and he ran to her side throwing his arms around her.

"Thank God you're okay." She pulled away from him.

"Get away from me." She was obviously disappointed at he failed escape attempt.

"Jewel this is madness, you couldn't even last half an hour with out getting hurt." He tried to hide a smile at her frustration, "are you okay?"

"Yes I'm fine." She huffed, "What are you doing here?"

"You were right back there, about a lot of stuff." she tried to interupt but he put a hand up to stop her, "If I don't get this out now I will never get it out so please," she closed her mouth and nodded, "There is something that you should know." He sat down and picked at some grass then continued, "When I was eight, my parents sold me to the gypsies, and the gypsies performed a sort of ritual on me. They..they took my soul..literally. When they did all morals went down the drain, I started stealing, first small things then much more important expensive things.

"Then I started killing, and once I started I couldn't stop. I didn't care about anything, well I cared about one thing, one girl. I killed her too. She tried to save me and I killed her. I was so much more out of hand than any of the others. I was unstoppable." He paused to look up at Jewel, she thought he was a monster too, but he had to continue, "Then I was captured, by a group of Mon'rah worshipers, do you know what they are?" she shook her head, "They worship the Soul God, Mon'rah, and they put my soul back. And I felt everything, the guilt and regret of what I had done, and the pain and sorrow of the people I had hurt. I felt the pain of every one of my victim'd deaths." he turned to look at her face, which was full of shock,

"I know what a monster I was, and I don't want to go back that way, and that's the catch. If I ever am truly happy, my soul will be taken again, because I don't deserve happiness after what I did. That's why whenever I am around you the memories come back, to remind me. They come back when I'm alseep too." Then he stopped he hated himseslf for telling her. She would hate him now, not want him near her, she would tell everyone else, they would kill him. She didn't say anything.

"I know how you must feel right now, and I know you hate the circus and don't want to come back, but you have to. It's dangerous out here, there are people out here like me..." he trailed off

Rogue (Robyn)

I looked at the blood that seemed to pour down my fist forever as I dodged Rusty's sight. He almost saw me, he'd ask what happened and then push me off back to work. I walked into the tent almost walking right into Lark, and then I saw Dent. It was so cute to see them together.

"Ah, sorry." I blushed. "Do you two want to be alone." I blushed a bright cherry red.

(I hope it's okay to join. I'll delete this if it is.)

Name: Adeline

Age: 15

Gender: Female

Appearance: She is a pretty, petite girl with long black hair. Her eyes are big and round; they are as blue as sapphires. She has long and think black lashes. Her skin is a creamy pale color. She usually keeps her hair in a low pony tail to keep it out of her way.

Personality: She has a bubly personality despite her situation. She loves her friends at the circus. When she dislikes something you do or say she'll tell you flat out but she'll be nice about it.

History: Her parents sold her to the circus when she was 10. She doesn't blame them for it though. They weren't happy and her mother had been pregnant.

Role in the circus: She used to help with costumes and things when she first came but now she is the tightrope walker.

Other: She has a scar from Rusty putting out a cigar on her upper right arm. He'd done it when she'd insulted him her first week here. Rusty also takes advantage of her often and threatens to torture her if she tells. Up for love.

Adeline~

I went to the mirror to wipe off the God awful make-up I had to wear for shows. I looked like the clows just in a tutu. Once I gotten cleaned up and changed I went for a walk. It was pretty out tonight. The stars seemed to dance.

I was looking up at the stars when I ran into something. "Ow," I said as I looked up from the ground.

"Oh, Adeline. I'm sorry." Chase held out a hand for me to get up.

"No, it's fine. I should've looked. Skipping work again?" I smiled at him. He always skipped which I thought was a brave act considering Rusty had a whip.

"Maybe I am." He said, looking around.

"Well I won't keep you. I'll see you later Chase." I walked by him and looked back.

"Bye Adeline." He said stalking off towards his tent. I rolled my eyes and smiled, walking towards Rouge and Lark's tent.

Flip-

After doing multiple chores I started toward my tent. Cowboy walked by me muttering curses under his breath while he kicked pebbles in every direction. I shook my head; he must have got into a fight with Jewel again. Every few months they'd have a big argument and break up. But I'd never seen him this mad. Maybe this time they wouldn't get back together.

Then a pain in my chest hit me. Knowing what to do, I spaced out and cleared my mind. When the throbbing pain ebbed away, I hurried to my tent to get some sleep.
