Jase:
She stood just behind Zane and heard his answer clearly. "Well, some of us happen upon it. You may not have it but you also may. Don't take it a a surprise if you do though. Go knock on room four and a man by the name of Syvilious may get you comfortable. Please, we are here to help," Zane said to the girl. He did it with so much calm Jase couldn't help but be impressed as he pointed behind him, down the hall. The girl and the boy walked down the hall slowly as to e sure they weren't being set up.
Jase gave him a smile and he returned it. "Do you rehearse that or something?" Jase joked.

~ZANE~

"Maybe I did, maybe I didn't, oh wait a second." I turn and shout down the hall to the others, "I may have a way to see if you can speak telepathically."

They come back down the hallway and wait.

"Okay, I have an idea. Tell me what I am saying to you in my mind if you hear it." I concentrate and send a message to Leona.

This is Zane, I am a vampire panther hybrid.

"You said: 'This is Zane, I am a vampire panther hybrid.'"

"Then you can speak mentally to others. If you need anything then talk to Syvilious. Jase and I must get going and find that hybrid out in Nevada."

I pick up my bag, then Jase and I walk out of the building and into the night.

~SYVILIOUS~

I stand in front of the mirror on my wall, looking at my reflection. As I gaze into those deep blue eyes I think to myself: Why am I here? I never asked to be like this...

I reach onto my side table and grab my comb. I start to brush out my dark brown hair as I gaze hypnotically into my own reflected eyes. I become startled as I hear a knock on my door.

Who is at my door?

Is this Syvilious?

Who's asking?

My name is Leona, and also my twin Leon.

What do you want?

I was told that if we needed anything to ask you.

Told by who?

We were told by Zane.

That is a different story, hold on a second.

I walk to the door, when I open it, I see the most beautiful girl I have ever encountered in my life. I gaze into her amazing green eyes, then I notice that I was staring at her. I look away and blush. She giggles.

"What would you like?"

Leona~

I smiled at him. Syvilious was cute. His dark eyes were hypnotizing.

Umm... Well I was wondering if we could have a place to stay?

He looked at me again. The corners of his lips curled up into a little smile. I beamed back at him. He was nice.

Yes, follow me. I heard his voice inside my head. He walked past us and down the hall. I walked up beside him, leaving Leon a bit behind.

So... What do you guys do here? I asked him. It was odd not speaking but I liked it.

I rolled my eyes. Leona couldn't possibly like this guy.
I walked over to her. I gave Syvilious a dead glare, not showing any emotion whatso ever.

~SYVILIOUS~

Ignoring the glare i got from Leon, I think to Leona:

We take in hybrids that have nowhere to live after being fused, give them a place to live, and help them master how they change over into their animal forms. We also help them discover some other special powers that they have.

What do you mean by: "special powers"?

Well, for example, like the speaking telepathically, that is a special power. Another is Zane's extremely fast speed in both vampire form and panther form.

I finish leading them down a hallway and get to rooms marked 7 and 8.

Room 7 can be yours Leona, and your brother can have 8. You know where to find me if you need anything else. And by the way, some of these rooms are connected in one way or the other. Check behind the full body mirror. Only tell your brother that he can have 8, nothing else.

Alright, I will.

I walk down the hallway and hear her telling Leon that his room is 8. They open their doors and walk in. When I get to my room, I lay down on my bed and gaze at my reflection at the full body mirror on my wall, as if waiting for something...

I opened the door to my room. I looked around to get used to the look. I sat down on the little chair inside it. I knew I was only next door to Leona, but I couldn't stay away from her for too long. Then I knew Syvilious was hiding something from me... But what?

I got up off the chair and stormed out the room and opened up the door I saw Syvilious go into.

And just what would I be hiding?

Don't play stupid! I know your hiding something from me that you told my sister!

I do not know what you are talking about, then, shutting my mind off to Leon, I sent a message to Leona. Do not come through the secret passageway yet, your brother is in here.

I opened up my mind to Leon again just in the middle of him yelling at me again.

I may be hiding something from you, and I might not be. Everyone is entitled to secrets. I am betting even you have some secrets too. But I don't need to bet on it. I know you have secrets, as I am a master at mind reading, I can see all of your secrets. If you backed off then i could teach you how to block out others from your innermost thoughts.

Well I'm not going to back off unless you tell me what you said to my sister!

All I told her was that I would like to talk to her sometime and hang out cause she has been the only girl I have liked for a long time! Now, if you do not leave my room right this instant, I will have to use force.

Fine, I'll leave, but I would like to learn how to block out others.

I will only do that is you will allow me to teach it to your sister too, but at separate times, it takes more effort for girls to block out others than it does guys.

Or, you just want to bust a move on my sister, right?

Leona~

When I heard Syvlious's voice in my mind I was surprised. I was just about to go to his room when he told me Leon was in there.
I scowled. Leon was such an idiot. He was most likely pissing Syvlious off. I waited for a minute until I heard the loud bang of a door.

You can come now Leona. I heard Syvlious say in my head.

I walked over towards the mirror in my room and looked behind it. There was a type of door that slid open.
I pressed my hand against it and pushed. It opened silently and I stepped through it.
I walked down a narrow hallway till I came to another door. It was the same type as the one in my room. I pushed this one open as well to see Syvlious sitting down looking at something.

Hi. I thought to him.

I sat on the little chair in my room again. I looked around the room again to see a large mirror. I walked over to it and stared into it. I stepped back a few feet. It was crooked. I went to go fix it and it slid back a little. "What the hell?" I asked myself. I slid it back all the way, it revealed a hallway. "This must be what Syvilious is hiding from me" I said.

I walked down the hallway slowly. I noticed a something like a door at the end of it.

I ran over to it and slid it open just a little bit to peek inside. I saw Leona and Syvilious.
I left only a small crack so no one knew I was there. I was waited for something to happen.

background- The scientists used Ray and several others in a new experiment. Trying to see if they could fuse vamps with multiple animals. All the other vamps in this died, only Ray survived, at least as far as he knows. He's a lion/falcon so in combat mode he looks like a gryphon. Although Ray looks like a scrawny teenager he's an Elder. So he has lived for several centuries. A side effect of the multiple animals is that he developed telekinesis. His favorite trick is to send a pencil flying like a bullet. He's also shown signs of being pyrokinetic (a fire starter) but that ability has yet to fully awaken.

"OH. How the mighty have fallen." Ray thought wryly. "An elder vampire captured by humans, pathetic. When I get out of here, I'm never feeding from someone already asleep again. How could I have missed the sedative in their blood?"

Ray jangled the chains binding him testing their strength. If he could make enough force the chains should break. Focusing he bent the links until the chain broke the cuff was still on his wrist but it didn't matter. He threw himself through the glass wall the white coats watched him through. He was on the fifth floor but it didn't really matter when you had wings.

Dodging past white coats Ray threw himself through the window, he winced as he felt some of the glass shards did into newly fledged wings, he flew for hours. Towards dawn he found himself in a small city exhausted he ducked into an alley and fell into the daysleep.

Jase:
They had just reached a small town. It was hidden by hills and it was quiet. The sun broke across Zane and her face like a light bulb not having been turned on for hours. Jase shielded her face with her hand as she stumbled along. Zane was trying his best to help her along from behind but wasn't having much help.
They finally found cover in an ally. As Zane sat down against a wall Jase heard a movement from the dark. "Any one there?" She called.
"No ones there," Zane complained. Yes there was and Jase knew it. She strode slowly as not to frighten whatever it was. Something moved quickly and a shape collided with her. She hit the ground before she knew it and was pined. She opened her eyes to find a boy. Well, he looked like a boy anyways.

*Dudes I'm going to be gone these like next four days...*See ya*

*Since I can't have two animals he'll be a lion hybrid. And when he jumped out the window he used his telekinesis to fly. Question do these guys have three forms, animal human and somehting in between?*

Azrayel-

Ray crouched over the girl his fangs pulled back in a snarl. He heard a tap behind him and jumped off the girl so that he could see the boy she was with too. Snarling he crouched down into a fighting stance keeping the pair in his line of sight. Ray knew his eyes were red, the scientists had barely fed him when they had him, he was deep in blood hunger at this point. Dimly he realised the pair were vamires too.

A.N. There is only two full forms you can be in: vampire and the animal you fused with. Sometimes you can be a cross between them, but it is only temporary. Like I could be half panther and half vampire. And by the way, Sylverdawn, you must ask me first if you would like to have special powers like telekinesis. I will let it slide this time but remember that for future reference.

"If you are thinking about killing us then it will do no good, our blood is poisonous to other vampires. Also, if you even try to kill us then good luck. You would be on the ground in seconds."

The lion being looked stunned to hear that I knew what he was. He didn't want to have Jase and I get in his way of feeding, so he attacked, ignoring the previous warning I gave. I leaped into the air, there was a slight electrical tingle and my form shifted into that of a panther. I tackled him while sending a mental message to Jase.

Shift into your leopard form, if you do that then he will know that we are just like him. Maybe then he will stop attacking us and listen to me

Jase shifted into her leopard form and stood where the lion could see her. Amazingly, the lion calmed down a bit. I climbed off of him and changed back into my vampire form. "Do you think you could change back so I can get a better look at you and so we can talk? I really wouldn't like putting you out in the sun."

(ANOTHER A.N. I go by the "Cirque Du Freak" way of vampires, so they can go out into sunlight but if they get more than a few hours of it then they will die. The lion changed into a person after hearing this and sat down next to us. I noticed his blond hair and his red eyes. "So," I began, "It seems you are one of us, what is your name?"

My name is Azrayel, but you can call me Ray. I am an Elder, I may look 17 but I am actually decades old. What is your name?"

" I am Zane, and that is Jase." Jase had turned back into her vampire form. "I know what the Elders are. My father was one. One of the best actually. His name was Koei, and he was murdered, along with my mom, when the scientists I was working with came and took me away to fuse me with the panther. I was the first successful hybrid created. Well, almost successful that is."

"Not much of a history here," Jase huffed with bordness. She wasn't much of a talker. Especially when it came to the past. SHe folded her arms and finally sat down. Her eyes shut but she didn't go to sleep.
