Sybyla~Home~Skipping school.

There was one problem with his request, I had to pee.

Rolling I climbed out of bed and onto the floor, luckily I was on my feet. I walked into the hallway. Kaleb was walking up the stairs but I didn't stop. I went into the bathroom.
I just lost the game.

Kaleb~ Syb's Home~Skipping school.

Kaleb saw Syb walk into the bathroom and he carried the soup into her room and set it on the desk. He waited a few minutes then went back over to where the bathroom was. "You ok?" He called.

I was, but I was also in my house with a guy I had a crush on. Even sick I would look normal.

"I'm fine," I said as I opened the door. "Still just a little light headed."

Kyle:

"Then back to bed." Kyle said scooping her back up and carrying her to the bed. "Eat then sleep. I'll be down in the living room if you need me. Until your parents get here I'm not leaving you by yourself." He replied handing her the soup.

I took the soup. "Thanks," I said slurping the soup slightly. I felt too sick to eat it all, so I set it on my night stand and fell into an uncomfortable sleep.

Kyle:

Kyle went to the living room and closed his eyes streching out.

*few hours later*

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN MY HOUSE!" A loud voice yelled waking Kyle up. He jumped up on the defensive trying to figure out where he was. He remembered and looked at the guy in front of him. It had to be Syb's dad. And he wasn't happy in the least.

"Syb was sick so I brought her home. I didn't feel it would be right to leave her here by herself." He replied.

I heard dad yelling at Kyle and I willed myself out of bed. I raced down the stairs.

"Calm down dad, he's not lying."

I couldn't quite see his face or anything, everything was sort of blurred. I sat down.
I just lost the game.

Kyle:

Kyle ignored her dad and walked over to her. "You shouldn't have gotten up." Kyle said squatting down in front of her. "Back to bed." He ordered. She shook her head.

"No, not til dad chills." She whispered.

"Honey, just go to bed." Her dad said. She shook her head. Kyle frowned and stood up. He scooped her up and walked up the stairs back to her room hoping her dad wouldn't throw a fit.

"That was your death warrent." I whispered.

"Oh well, you're going back to bed."

"You're sweet," I whispered.

He laid me back in bed and dissappeared again. I didn't hear anymore fighting so I felt it safe to slip back into sleep. When I woke up the next time I felt a tad better. And surprisingly hungry. I needed food.

I sauntered downstairs and into the kitchen, it was dark out and in the kitchen. I flipped the switch on.

"What are you doing?" My dads voice asked as he came into the kitchen.

"I'm hungry."

Kyle:

Kyle wlked back down the stairs where her father was standing, arms crossed and a mad look on his face.

"Leave." He said in a harsh voice. "I don't want you near my daughter."

"Why? Cause I'm a Tarver?" Kyle demanded.

"That's exactly why!" Her father hissed back in a lowered voice.

"Me and Syb have nothing to do with the arguement that you and dad got into. Just cause y'all are fueding doesn't mean we are to. You can't keep me from hanging out with Syb!" Kyle replied in a equally lowered, yet challenging voice.

"We'll see about that, now leave!" Kyle shrugged and left fuming.

"Dad," I said, "when did Kyle go home?"

"A while ago, right after you fainted."

"Why?"

"I kicked him out."

I stared at my dad agast. Why the hell did he kick him out? I started in surprise at both my dad and the level at which this pissed me off. "Why?"

"You should know better than to be hanging out with a Tarver."

"Bullshit," I said bluntly, "dad get your head out of your ass. I don't give a shit about the conflict!" I picked my keys up off of the counter, "I'm going to get my car and then apologize to Kyle.

Kyle:

Kyle drove up to his house and parked the car. No one was home like normal so he just cut the engine and walked inside flipping on the kitchen light. He wanted something to eat. He had to get Syb out of his mind. Now that she knew he was a Tarver she would probably not talk to him. Even if she did, her dad would kill him. He sighed, life stunk. The phone rang and he grabbed it.

"Hello?" He answered cradling the phone against his shoulder as he put a sandwhich together.

"Kyle! What's up man, I didn't expect to catch you!" It was his older brother.

"Not much, hanging at the house. What are you doing?"

"I'm heading down that way. Dad called me and said that him and mom went to Hawii, again, and someone needed to watch you."

"Great." Kyle groaned, just what he wanted.

"I'll see you in a bit lil' bro." THe line went dead and Kyle hung up.

Dad knew I was mad enough that he didn't try to stop me. If he did, I would bust into histerical tears, and he did not know how to handle that. He was rather afraid of that. I'd be paying for it later, car taken away, all contact with the outside world minus school taken away, stuff like that. But I wasn't afraid. I was okay with it.

I pulled onto his street, all I knew about his house was on what street it was located. I just looked for his car. Just as I spotted it I had the sinking realization that he may not want to talk to me anymore... I shook that out of my head; if he didn't want to talk to me he wouldn't, but I was going to try anyways.

I parked on the street and walked up to the door. My heart was beating a tattoo in my ears. Why was I so nervous? I didn't want him to hate me. I wanted him to like me. Really like me; what most people concidered love. But I didn't believe in love. I believed in very strong liking. There was no love.

At least not in my life.

I sighed and knocked on the door.
I just lost the game.

Kyle:

Kyle groaned, who would be here now. He had tried drowning out thoughts of Syb with the TV but with no provail. He got up and walked over to the door opening it.

"What are you doing here?" He asked surprised. "Your supposed to be in bed sleeping."

"I feel better." She stated.

"Ok, why are you here? You know I'm a Tarver, right?" He hated saying it, but if she didn't know she needed to because he couldn't keep it from her. But he wanted her to except that. He wanted so bad for her to like him like he liked her.

I paused, nervously hesistating on the edge. I didn't stay there long, tears were blurring my vision slightly and before I let any of them fall I stepped foward and threw my arms around him.

"I don't care," I said, "I'm probably grounded forever for this but I don't care. I couldn't bare the thought of our parents stupid fight stop us, not if I could at least try to make a difference."

I hadn't noticed that his arms had come around me.

"Who's this lil bro?"
I just lost the game.
