Camelia

It was later in the day and they were all gathered around the fireplace in the spacious living room. They were all sitting in large armchairs contentedly sitting before the crackling fire.

"So were do you come from Camelia, seeing as you were raised by Henry and Mary," Ray asked.

Camelia sighed and stared at the fire. Layla lay at her feet and stirred a bit at Camelia's sigh.

"Well, Mary and Henry have always told me that they found me right in the middle of the yard. I had been crying for so long that I barely made any noises as tears ran down my cheeks. They thought I had been a normal baby, so they brought me inside out of the rain. When they handed me over to a nurse to be dressed, the nurse screamed at the sight of these," she said, folding out her wings, which looked golden in the firelight.

"She quickly showed them the tiny wings I had on my back. I had just about stopped crying by then, and when they looked out the window, the rain had stopped and sunshine was pouring through the windows as if the rain had never happened. They knew that there was something different about me, but they didn't find out I was a storm caller until one of the maids saw my wings when I was about four. She talked to them in hushed voices and they asked me to flat-out change the weather. It worked based on my emotions. But I don't think they know that I cantalk to animals and make them winged like me," she said, shrugging.

"Show us how you talk to animals, then," Ray asked.

"Alright then," she said. She turned to Layla and made a seriesof low throaty growls followed by a yip. Layla responded with yips and a short howl or two.

"What did you say?" Acrylis asked excitedly.

"I asked her whether she wanted to help us. She wants to but wants to find her own way to help," Camelia said, still staring at the great wolf.

>.< I don't know what to do!!! I hope this is okay then...

Acrylis

After a while we all began wandering through the island, getting better aquointed with one another.

I walked along a small, dirt path, quite alone, wondering where the others were.

**Someone else could jump into this and be talking to Acrylis, just to hopefully get the storybook going again**

Camelia

She purposefully separated herself from the others and flew high above the treetops. Ahh, there was nothing like flying! She looked down and spotted Acrylis walking through the woods by herself. She swooped down and landed silently behind her.

"Why are you wondering out here alone?" she asked.

Acrylis

"I don't know," I answered truthfully. "I didnt really see any point in goign with any of the others. I don't know any of them, and they all seemed to go off in pairs. So here I am, pretty much alone."

"Or so you were," she corrected.

"Or so I was, yes," I agreed.

Camelia

"So what's your story?" she asked her.

Acrylis looked into the distance and sighed a bit. "Well, it's long so be prepared..."

Azrayel-

Ray wandered along the cliff path, occasionally glancing up at the sky. The storm wasn't stopping, in fact it was getting worse. He heard a shout behind him and turned to see Tanner and Keira running to catch up to him. They walked together in silence before Tanner finally asked the question that was killing her. "So, did you REALLY try to assassinate the Queen."

Chuckling, Ray shook his head. "No. The gods know I'd like to. But no, I'm not stupid enough to try at this point. If the Queen were to die without an heir, complete anarchy would reign. Much as I hate it, she's a necessary existence. At least until the rebellion gets a better foot hold. Or the missing children of the Sky King are found."

Howell

Having made a few adjustments to his wings, scowling the entire time at the unwieldy, but necessary device, Howell slid his pack back on and began making his way down the path - he'd seen the others going this way earlier, though no doubt they'd split up by now. Maybe he could find a story worth listening to, or find a way of contacting his crew. As much as they needed to lie low for a while, he hated not knowing what was happening to his ship.

After a short walk, he caught sight of Acrylis and Camelia, the two of them sitting and talking in a clearing. Deciding not to interrupt whoever was speaking, Howell simply sat down as well, trying to pick up on what had already been said.
