Sky Storm

plot: The sky world of Krysta was once a united realm, ruled by the royal family. The sun shone and the people flourished on the islands in the sky, it was a golden age, when anything and everything seemed possible. The people of the sky were all born with wings, and the members of the royal family were Storm Callers, people born with the ability to control the storm elements of wind, water, and thunder. It was the royal family's duty to guard the realm of Krysta against dark forces.

But eventually things took a turn for the worse. The royal family was betrayed by one of their own, the king's younger brother made a pact with the queen of the lower realm. She who ruled beneath the sky, together they conquered the sky islands one by one, and ultimately assasinated the king. They then formed the empire of Aidail, which governed over the sky realm and the lower realm. In desperation the Sky Queen fled the capitol, but what the people of Aidail did not know, was that she was pregnant.

The Queen ultimately gave birth to triplets and seperated them, sending them to different Sky Islands. Before she was captured and the birth of her children was revealed. The Storm Callers were the world's last and greatest hope, but when the world needed them most, they vanished. Seventeen years have passed since then, rebellions still spring up occasionaly but are quickly supressed.

It is in this time of turmoil that the Storm Callers return, among them perhaps the royal siblings.

Appearance: Blond hair, Black eyes with no Pupils. meduim Height, meduim weight.
Personality: He is a dark person. He never jokes with people and only does businus. But he doe's have a little sister that he protects and keeps from his dealings.
Backround: After his family betrayed the empire of Aidail to helping the queen, he had to watch most of his family killed right before his eyes...at the age of 2.
He began to work for the empire as a way to earn money and to get closer to the people that orderered the exucution. But soon he was loyally serving the Queen with honor. he then became her ' Highest guard' and performed her demands.
Powers: A gun that specialized in Killing winged people. By Luanching a bullet that when reached it's target, will set the target in flames. He also adapted the ability to run fast, jump higher, and even to disseaper into the shadows.

Name: Howell McKinney

Age: 20

Gender: Male

Race: Human, born on Katal, one of the outer islands.

Appearance: Blond hair, brown eyes. 6'3", 185 lbs. Him

Personality: Generally a friendly person, though he can be a bit of a cynic. He's always willing to meet new people, especially if he can see a benefit in it. He's jealous of the winged humans, however.

Backround: Born on the sky islands, though he was the son of humans of the lower kingdoms who had found their way to the sky. His father captained an airship, used by the family to trade between the islands. However, his father was killed fighting the Queen's forces in one of the rebellions, though Howell was piloting the airship at that point. Howell has been something of a pirate since then, with a deep grudge against the empire - whether its representatives have wings or not.

Powers: Captains the airship Viper's Teeth (Here). Skilled in swordplay and pistols. Built himself a pair of wings to compensate for the ones he didn't have, though they can be both unreliable and uncomfortable.

Name: Cordelia

Age: 16 going on 17

Gender: Female

Race: Sky Caller (one of the triplets)

Personality: quiet, reserved, but helpful and tactful. She does like to laugh though, but she's not one to start a conversation.

Background: after she was left here on her island of Gyania, an elderly couple heard her wailing and found her and raised her. The know she can fly, but they do not know of her power to talk to forest animals and even turn them winged like her. She has many winged and nonwinged 'pets' in the forest. Powers: talking to animals and turning them winged (not sure if she can do this to people yet, haven't decided...), and she is able to fly

Kaze looked at the man as he cheered on his fellow comrades.
" Who is to say that the Aidail empire won't kill us all?!" The Man shouted. too many people were there...and they were cheering for him.
Kaze went through the crowd. He would have used his rifle, but he would risk crowd control.
Kaze then began to run.
" Rebel against the Tryants! Rebel..." Kaze crouched and jumped. He didn't even step on the stage and he stabbed the man in the head. He was dead so quickly that his expression was still the same, of anger and frustration at the empire.
Kaze quickly jumped off the stage and above the crowd. He was gone before they even knew that the man was dead.

background- Raised on the island of Bellow. The family he had been with died when he was young and he has taken care of himself ever sense.

powers- Wind. He is also skilled in hand to hand combat. And swords.

background- Her family tryed her best to raise her but when they found her on the island and that she had powers they iddn't mind ehr using them. She uses her powers freely, but out of sight of the bad guys.
powers- She can call up feirce storms of lightning and rain, Her wepon is a longish sward that she carrys on her back
other-Never was sure of love. It was never shown on her island, Just the regular slap, hits and kicks to the face.

Draive- She flew through the sky. She had just escaped a close call. The guys that trugged down the street didn't bother to look up into the sky. The people that lived in the island didn't care eather. They were just trying there best to live.

She flew to a close by island and landed on the nicly packed ground and folded her wings up into her back.

personality- will be learned as SB goes on. She is often lonely, becasue she doesn't have many friends.

background- After being left on the island of Sylvia, Acrylis fell into a pretty dangerous life. She was raised by a young couple who didn't have much money, until both died in a freak accident. She was then taken in as a servant of a nobles family. The nobles are far from the kindest of people, but Acrylis makes do with what she manages to get.

powers- The general storm type powers. Until the year she turned 16 it was nothing more than a small pendant around her neck that had always been there, but on her 16th birthday she woke up to find it a full sized staff sitting beside her. She has since then learned how to shrink it back to pendant size or make it staff size again depending on how she wishes to use it.

Race- Storm Caller (Kekra Island, one of the inner islands)

Appearance- Long black hair that is usually kept in a braid or pinned up, stormy blue eyes, black wings, clawed feet, likes to wear comfortable yet elaborated clothes.

Personality- Likes to help a lot. The motherly yet young type who is loved by everyone. Is always there to lend a hand or an ear or even a few words. Very observant and follows what everyone else is doing, but only if she approves. Is an evil fighter. Kelkri goes into a warrior mode when she forces herself to and is literally unstoppable with her staff.

Background- Kelkri was born into a 'High Breed' family, which means she was a noble. She was brought up to be a young and proper lady. She and her brother were put on staff training when they were young and put into the army several times since. Kelkri's brother is one of the few people who have bested her at the staff.

Powers- Specialty is staff. Has train since she was young and sometimes serves for the army.

Personality: she's a loner. Has an aweful temper and rarely lets people get close to her. due to a tragic romance, she hates the male gender and always thinks that they can never take her seriously. she's an excellent fighter, but never shows it.

Apperance: flaming red hair with fiery hazel eyes. She's short and thin. Attrictive. Her eyes are entrancing.

History: When she was 13, she fell in love with a sailor and ran off with him. after he used her at his pleasure, he left her at a port. Furious, Alex found a sword master and learned how to weild a weapon so that no one else could take advantage of her.

Powers: has two double edged swords, knives, and bow and arrows. Also, she blends in with practically any surrounding and is only seen if she wants to be. She entrances any who look directly into her eyes.

Other: Up for love, if you can get past the barrior.

personality- Ray is one of those people with a volcanic personality. Stubborn, reckless and competitive in the extreme. Extremely loyal to his friends. A short temper and slightly naive, sarcastic and a smartass. He is prideful and arrogant, but curious about the world around him. A cunning tactician, Ray has his own, very strange honor code, and will follow it even when it clashes with the rules of society. A bad liar. Has the tendency to follow his heart before his head. The type who likes to fight for the sake of fighting and is constantly looking for strong rivals.

background- This kid all but grew up in the sky, he was flying before he could walk. He learned a bunch of survival techniques and would dissapear into the jungle for days, sometimes weeks. He realized he was a Storm Caller fairly early on but kept quiet about it. His "parents" were taken away and enslaved by Aidail. Ray himself doesn't know about his royal heritage. Recently joined the resistance based on Lexan, a mountain Island.

powers- Can use thunder and water, but prefers the wind element, also has the rare ability to manipulate ice. He fights with a pair of twin short swords, and is considered a genius at ariel combat.
