Seda-

Seda whirled around and saw Cecilia pointing at the Core. It gleamed in the fading sunlight, and pulsed like a heart beat. Swearing he saw the blood begin to swirl around it, a sign of the demons revival. Once again he called lightning and smashed it into the small sphere. The core held for a moment before shattering into several pieces.

He bent down and picked up a piece of the core. It's edges were blackened from lightning, and the jewel had darkened, no longer catching and holding the sunlight. "Cores can only be destroyed by the primordial elements. Wind, fire, earth, and others. Once broken they can no longer harm a human, though they are still very dangerous."

Carefully Seda turned the shard so Cecilia could see the rune etched into it. "This demon's personal name. It would also tell you its powers and what type of demon it was."

She took the shard from and looked at it in the fading light. Glancing back at him Cecilia raised her eyebrows. "So how do you know all this? It's not knowledge the demons would let people know."

((Jewel-- Plant Growth))

Jewel sighed and released the vines back into the earth. She spotted Seda and Cecilia. A blast of thunder came down and hit the ground. Seda bent down and picked something up, showing it to Cecilia. She looked confused and opened her mouth to talk. Jewel walked up to see what they were talking about.

"Nice kill, friend." Jewel smiled warmly.

They stopped talking. Seda returned the smile, "Thank you..."

"Jewel. I've seen you around. I hope I wasn't interrupting anything..."

Cecilia shook her head and waved, "No, he was just explaining the demon to me."

That caught Jewel's interest, "Well, may I listen?"

Seda shrugged indifferently, "Sure." and continued...

I looked at him curiously. He thought quickly.
"Sure they do." He said. "All the time."
I scoffed, "Your a very bad lier Seda."
"Yes, I am." he smiled at me. "I'm a half demon." He said, bluntly. I eyes widened in shock.
"Your a half demon?" He nodded. "You've never told me that!"
He laughed, "I don't find it a good conversation topic."
"So you know a lot about demons?" He nodded. I thought a minute. "You said the elements could destroy the core, right?" I asked.
"Yes."
"What about water?" My eyes gleamed with hope.

Kumiko

After a hearty thank you from Double N, she glanced over at the demon body and saw Seda break the core. She heard him start to explain the complex body of the demon. She ran over and plopped down beside Jewel and Cecilia, listening intently, even though she knew all about the demon. Seda stopped and stared at her funny.

"Go on, go on! Why'd you stop talking? It's only me!" she said, impatiently hurrying him on.

He rolled his eyes and started over.

<Rei>

That guy was half demon? Sweet!

Well, not really. I started to wonder if he had split personalities or anything like that. I know I wouldn't have a problem if I was eaten by a demon, but the smell would probably haunt me for a lifetime.

I squatted down next to the tiger girl to hear more about the art of vanquishing demons.

Seda-

He shook his head wryly at his audience. It was a shock to find that they didn't really care about his demon blood. Seda glanced over at Cecilia. "Yes." He answered. "You can destroy a core with water, I just don't know the proper method for it.."

Seda walked over and took the core shard from Cecilia. He looked around at the others. Jewel, Kumiko, and Rei were sitting near Cecilia, and he spotted Double N standing in the shadows.

"The problem is this." Quickly he crouched down and drew the rune in the dirt. Seda pointed at a small ring of seven stars around an A in the corner of the rune. "This part of the rune is the crest of someone under the direct authority of one the Seven High Demon Lords. Each demon lord represents a different sin. There's Sloth, Gluttony, Greed, Envy, Lust, Anger, and the strongest of them, Pride." Seda grimaced before finishing. "My father."

"This was a demon sent by Lord Anger. For what reason I don't know. But if the Demon Lords get directly involved..." He paused, looking at the others.

Kumiko finished the train of thought for him. "Then the human race doesn't have a hope in hell of surviving. No pun intended. Right?"

Seda winced. "Yeah, pretty much."

Cecilia~

I sighed and rolled my eyes as everyone gathered around. I was excited to hear there was a way to destroy the core with water though.
"Then the human race doesn't have a hope in hell of surviving. No pun intended. Right?" Kumiko said.
Seda winced. "Yeah, pretty much."
"No," I said. "We could win." My cheeks suddenly went red. I never spoke out like that. Yes, I did like to be in charge but with someone talking for me; giving orders for me.
Seda looked over at me and smiled.

(b) Double N


He really had no idea what to do . .. after thanfully thanking the girl, who he didn't even know her ename . .. he just sat down on the ground, "How did she know?"


He smiled hesitantly, "it is nice to be hugged once in a while."

A whisper called to the back of his head, he listneed intently; it was Glowing, "Hey Glowing, you done healing your self yet?"

Glowing shook his head, "Nope, how'd the mobbing go?"

"I'm not sure, they thought i was a demon, but then this girl . . . who I'm pretty sure was a tiger before came and protected me . . . I can't be sure why . . ."

Glowing grinned at his soul brother . . . "SO you've got your first crush, huh?"

Blazing blushed, "NO! I just .. . "

Glowing laughed, "Its gonna take another 3 days for me to heal completely, have fun, I hope you confess to her."

Glowing's presence folded back into his mind and Blazing the demon looking teenager who was actually reall sweet was left to his own ponderings, "Confess what to her?"

Suddenly somone popped out form nowhere, "Yeah, what are you gonna confess to?"


(To anyone who feels like they're missing out, this is your chance ^^)

Kumiko

She listened intently to a lecture that she knew so well, she could get up there and recite everything about demons there was to know. She occasionally turned to look shyly at Double N then smled and turned back around.

When Seda had finished about demons, she asked impatiently, "But tell us what to do with the body! We can't leave it lying here to rot!"

I hope it's not to late too join. I'm going to, and you can disregard this if you feel like it.

Name: Autumn Sword

Age: She’s been alive for twenty two years, but because of her power she’s technically eighteen.

Gender: Female

Appearance: Shoulder-length, Dark auburn hair and heavy lidded green eyes and a heart shaped face. Her frame is naturally long and willowy, but she’s made herself a bit more muscular.

Power: She can take herself out of existence. Even she doesn’t know where she goes when she disappears, but when she does it’s complete and total. It’s a useful defensive maneuver, but the downside is she has to time how long she’ll be out before hand, and she has to return to the same place. So in theory she could dodge a punch by disappearing for a few seconds, but be hit by a second swing upon returning. She makes up for this with her offensive fighting skills. She tries not to overuse her power. She doesn’t age when she’s out of existence.

Personality: Autumn is a tough chink. She has nothing against demons, but if something is going to kill her, she will kill it back. That’s the sort of person she is.

Other: Up for love.

~Autumn~

She materialized in the middle of the street. She'd long since become accustomed to the return, but this time was even more drastic. For one, everything seemed to be a bit more desperate than she had last seen it.

“Wow,” she said. “A lot can change in six months.”

She looked around more, and spotted the remains of the fight, and still un disposed off corpse of the demon.

“Dang,” she said.

Seda-

"I'd suggest burning it. Especialy the blood, since it's toxic to normal humans. Those with special abiilities will have some immunity." He shrugged and looked over at Cecilia, "So you want to fight the Demon Lords?"

She looked nervous before she answered him. "Yeah, so what if I do."

Seda smiled. "Nothing I'd always intended to fight them myself, I just always expected to do it alone. Anyone else in?" He glanced around the clearing,

((Jewel--Plant growth))

Jewel shifted uneasily. She had heard of these demon lords and their plague upon the world. She sighed, she didn't wish to leave her village, however. She was home here among the forest and villagers. Jewel kicked the dirt and looked up with a determined face.

"I'm in." she walked out of the little crowd and stood next to Seda.

Seda nodded, "And you are...?"

"Jewel Rodriguez. I can make plants grow and control them."

Seda inclined his head, "That might be useful."

Jewel took a deep breath. She was leaving her hometown to go fight demon lords. It hadn't quite stuck to her yet.

Kumiko

"I'm definitely joining!" she said, standing over by Jewel.

"And you can...?"

"Oh, I can hypnotize people and control everything they do, I can shapeshift into any kind of cat (preferrably a white tiger), and when I get really, really, really mad, I cause typhoons!" she said, eagerly looking into his face, searching for an answer.

"You're in," he grinned.

"Who else is joining, because we can't have a team of three, however awesome we are, taking on seven demon lords," Kumiko asked, picking through the silent crowd.
