Davis:

Awoke to find that mid morning had become mid afternoon, normally this wouldn't be of any concern except that the park he had chosen to take a "lazy day" nap in turns on there sprinklers in the afternoon. Standing now semi wet he shook him self off and reached into his back pack to locate his phone. No missed calls. "Darn, well it looks like i am on my own for this one." he smiled and returned the phone to its place in his bag. he looked around, just the normal stuff a couple of people talking by the swings, a kid in a red bike helmet skate boarding, but then what he saw next stopped him in his tracks, A truly beautiful girl was leaving the Starbucks across the street. he stared at her for a long moment and was pulled from his fixation by the sounds of a car horn, he turned to look the direction it was coming from...

Kat

As she rushed out off the Starbucks, desperately clutching her drink, she turned around just in time to see a guy standing in the street, unaware of the car coming at him. She set down her bundle and ran out into the street as the car honked and she dove for the man, knocking him perfectly sideways all the way back to the sidewalk.

"Are you okay?" she practically screamed out of panic.

He nodded, shocked.

"Good. One more question. ARE YOU CRAZY?!?!" she said, surprising him.

William

he walks up to the swing, at which a girl, far too old to be taking that kind of joy from such a simple swing, sat, apparently lost in thought

"arent you a little old for that?" Asks william

"no, youre never too old for fun!" she answers, looking at me kind of funny.

i had suspicions about her, for she always seemed to have a spare twenty, ever since i had seen her in a shop, no more than two weeks ago, and had seen the wallet, i had thought it might be the wallet. so i decided to perform a test...

"do you have change for a fifty?" i ask. as i pull out a fifty from my wallet.

Snapping out of it some what, "um.... yeah, I am fine..." he cleared his head "Sorry," he said and then pulled himself to his feet, "I am sure you hear this all the time but," he kinda looked down at his feet, "you are really cute, and thank you... i mean for the rescue and all..."

He extened his hand to her, "My names Foxworth but you can call me Davis."

Andonesia

"For a fifty, hmm, let me see." Andy allowed the swing to slow to a halt and opened her wallet, taking out both of the twenty dollar notes that rested there. "Hold these a second?" She smiled as the man took them and then put that wallet away and took out another. "I'm sure I have some change in this one..." Andy rummaged around and located a ten. "There you go."

The man looked slightly disappointed, his gaze lingering on the pocket that now held the enchanted wallet once more. "Oh, uh, thank you." He took out his own wallet and exchanged the handful of notes for a fifty, passing it to Andy who put it in the second wallet. "Why do you keep two wallets?" the man asked.

"I like to keep my change separate," Andy replied. The man nodded thoughtfully. "I'm Andonesia by the way."

"Andonesia? How unusual..." Andy laughed and nodded.

"A real mouthful to say as well so most people call me Andy," she rolled her eyes, "which is a little masculine for my taste but what else are you gonna shorten it to, huh?"

"I'm William," the man said, holding out his hand.

"Nice to meet you, Wilma," Andy said with a cheeky grin.

Kat

She smiled and blushed a little as she took his hand.

"Thanks! I'm Kat. Kat McCarson."

They silently shuffled their feet a few moments, awkwardly. At last Kat noticed a young girl swinging on a swing, free spirited, chatting beside a tall unfamiliar man.

"Hey Andy!" Kat screamed, running open armed towards Andy, whose look of shock quickly turned to a look of joy as Kat ran over and hugged her with Davis smiling and following in her wake.

She whirled around and faced him, beaming.

"I would love that! Oh, this is Andy," she said as Andy extended her hand and he shook it, a little awkwardly.

"So, Andy, do you want to come with us?" she asked Andy.

Andy

Andy looked across at William and hesitated, the wind tugging at her chestnut tendrils, as if urging her to go. Not that she was the superstitious type but she was feeling hungry.

"Yeah... sure," she said after a moment. "Well see you around, Wilma." She turned to follow Kat -- she looks so pretty today, I wonder when she dyed her hair -- and her friend's companion, wondering what Kat could have done to deserve such a generous invitation to lunch.

"Wait," William called. "I'd quite like to come too, if you don't mind..." Kat turned and arched an eyebrow but Andy shrugged.

"Sure, why not. Could be fun," she replied, "I can't guarantee that he'll pay for you though." Her eyes glistened mischievously as she grinned and cocked her head towards the boy, observing him. He was built well and dressed rather uniquely in a care-free, ragged style that Andy liked and his pretty blue eyes, directed at Kat, were slightly glazed and admiring. He shrugged absently.

"That's quite alright, I think I can afford my own lunch," William chuckled. "I'm William by the way," he informed the others.

"Davis," the boy said, turning to look at the man briefly and giving a short nod.

"And I'm Kat. Nice to meet you."

They all sat together at a booth in Kat and Andy's favorite little restaurant, "Yesterday's Memories". Davis and Kat slid into one booth across from Andy and William. There were a few moments of silence as they waited for a waitress. Andy was the first to speak.

"How do you and Kat know each other Davis?"

"Oh! Umm... I'll just have a regular hot dog and a cherry coke with it," she said, smiling at the waitress. The waitress took no notice.

"And you?" she asked Andy.

William:

As he sat in the booth of a small resturaunt, surronded by people he hardly knew.

"Sorry about the intrusion, and thanks for letting me join you for lunch,"
his voice was too proper, maybe a little snobbish, with an east-coast accent, maybe British, maybe Boston.

"No problem," says the man who had been introduced as Davis.

**not a whole lot more I can do with this at the moment, so ill wait for
someone else to post**
by the way, does anyone want a second character? maybe an antagonist type deal?**

A second character sounds tempting but I'm not sure if I have the time.

Andy

After collecting orders, the waitress walked away, her slim hips swaying from side to side as she cast a brief glance over her caramel shoulder at Davis and smiled warmly before scowling when he appeared not to have noticed. The scowl being directed at Kat.

"So what's everyone up to later?" Andy asked. "Any chance we can go to the cinema? Please?" Andy opened her eyes wide and pursed her lips in an attempt to look desperate and almost pulling it off until her face split into a large grin and she giggled. "Come on, it will be so much fun," she promised.

"Okay," Kat agreed, "that sound alright with you, Davis?"

"Yeah... wow. Didn't expect an invitation like that from two lovely girls I hardly know. Sure." Andy giggled as he blushed a little and stumbled over his words.

"How about you, William? I might even let you look at my wallet some more," Andy said with a wink, both action and sentence drawing confused looks from the others around the table and one of surprised from William.
