This is going to be vaguely based of the Pilot seris The Lost Room
in short, it is about a bunch of objects with extraordinary powers, and the people who find them, and what they do with them. and how they manuever to get more objects. Im not sure what the point is to my storybook, but it will come along, (if you have any suggestions, please PM me.)

Rules.

1. only one character and object per person to start.

2. first come, first serve, so the first to join get to pick their object first

3. no god moding(duh)

4. no killing off other people characters without permission (from them and me)

5. no acquiring more objects (i.e. stealing them from people in the story) without permission

6. there will be only a few characters with objects to start, (say, 8 or 10) and the rest(anyone who wants to join after 8 or 10) will have to find the object later in the story.

anything left over (after 8 or 10) will be put into the story without a current owner, so people will either "find" them, or search for them, whatever

thats all i can think of that needs mentioning right now, i will post a list of the object next

p.s., ive decided that the first 3 to join(after me) will be able to start with 2 objects

by the way, i made up these objects on the spot, they are NOT the objects from the series, and i made their powers relate to what they are.

1. A red rubber ball that lets the possessor jump great heights

2. A penknife that can cut through any material

3. A hat that allows the wearer to read the minds of others

4. A pocket watch that can manipulate time

5. A cane that can teleport the owner anywhere in sight

6. A coat that allows the wearer to move through solid objects

7. A mirror that makes the owner irresistible to anyone they wish

8. A key can open any lock.

9. A small embroidered pillow that can put people to sleep at touch.

10. A matchbook that never runs out of matches, and can light a fire on anything

11. A lighter that causes an 15 foot explosion that only the possessor will survive

12. A right-hand glove that allows the owner to move things without touching them

13. A left-hand glove that can move around by itself, doing the bidding of its owner

14. A harmonica that plays music so sweet that it charms the birds from the trees, and the animals from the woods.

15. A leather wallet that always has two twenty dollar bills, no matter how many you take out

16. A pair of spectacles that allow the wearer to see extremely long distances, as well as through objects

17. A pair of boots that allow the wearer to run with extreme speed

18. A back-pack that can never be filled, and never gets heavier

19. A book that tells the past and future of all things. *in a language unknown*

20. A crucifix that can either heal the most dire injuries, or kill a man instantly, but is totally random, so you cant predict which it will do *risky*

21. A pair of dice that drastically increase one's luck.

p.s. if you have any object that you want to add, ask me, and ill decide if i want them(NONE OF THIS IS SET IN STONE, if you want something changed, just ask.)

combination effects

1. the rubber ball and the boots, allows the owner to fly(and jump high and run fast)

2. the coat and the hat allows the owner to "posess" another persons body, controlling them.

3. the lighter and matchbook, starts a fire that will never go out.

4. both gloves, gives the person super strength

5. the key and the glasses allow the person to become invisible

6. the pocket-watch and the pillow allows the owner to put a person in a coma, from which they will never naturally wake

7. the harmonica and the mirror allows a person to influence the action of other living things

8. the pack and the wallet allow the person to pull anything inanimate they want out of the pack

9. the mirror and the gloves allow you to appear however you wish to the outside world

10, lastly, the only way you can read the book is while wearing the glasses, as well as posessinf both the hat and the crucifix.

11. the dice, wallet and the back pack allow the owner to pull random objects from the pack.

Name= Andonesia

Nickname= Andy

Age= 19

Objects= The wallet and the crucifix

Appearance= She has long, chestnut brown hair and sharp, dark green eyes. Her face is pretty with delicate, feminine features and a scattering of cute freckles that prevent her from being beautiful or sexy but leave a generally pleasant impression. Her body is quite slim but curvy, with a slightly larger than average bust and she often wears well-fitted, pretty clothes.

Personality= She's mischevious, light-hearted, quick to laugh, easily pleased and very content. At the same time, she loves to take risks and she's very no nonsense. If someone is say, close to death, then she wouldn't hesitate to use the crucifix in the full knowledge that it might finish them off. And if it went wrong, she would blame luck.

Other= Up for love, feel free to claim her but that wont mean she'll not flirt and joke with others. I will, however, give your character a little more of her time and affection ;)

History= Grew up with her aunt in a pleasant enough house but knew she couldn't stay there and after discovering the wallet's ability (she bought it from a second-hand shop and pretty soon realised that it was always full of money but always used it cautiously) she decided to move out. That was about three months ago and she's been renting a room in a small, comfortable flat since then. The crucifix was a more recent discovery. She saw it in a jewelery shop and decided that she hadn't treated herself for a while so she bought it. It came in a little box and there was a note that the shop-keeper said was just a myth but Andy is pretty sure that it's true and that the crucifix can heal and kill.

We've all been broken in some way. It's just how we express it that makes us dffrent form eachother.

and you (whoever took the crucifix), realize that you do not get to choose what it does when you use it. (i would suggest that you flip a coin.)

Awesome, that sounds like even more fun. I'll certainly flip a coin!

I haven't seen the lost room but I've heard of it.

Andonesia

"That's nine dollars sixty, please," Andonesia opened her wallet and passed a twenty dollar bill to the cashier who handed her the change.

"Thank you!" Andy said, leaving the store with her new bracelet. She fastened it around her wrist as she walked down the path, seeking her next source of amusement. The park! With a light-hearted laugh, she hurried in that direction and sat down on the cheap, plastic swing, pushing herself higher and higher.

"Don't you think you're a little old for that?" an unfamiliar voice asked.

"No," Andy replied without looking. "You're never too old for fun!"

Name= Foxworth Monroe Davis

Nickname= Davis

Age= 18

Objects= The watch, and backpack

Appearance= His blond hair is always pulled up into liberty spikes, that make his already long face appear worse. He has a stunning grin that is only paled by his prefect sapphire eyes. his normal dress resembles the kind of thing that one of peter pan's lost boys would wear; frayed shorts and a ripped lack shirt that shows off how much time he spends working out.

Personality= he is the devil made care swash buckling type that doesn't ever quit. but is just as happy sleeping as he is being with his friends or making war. he has his fair share of lucky moments but doesn't believe in luck because to believe in good luck is to except bad luck.

Other= Up for love, so long as it doesn't take away from his having adventures. ( can be claimed)

History= he was born into a wealthy family and that explains his not wanting to grow up. he spends most of his time roaming around town, and looking for that next great thing whatever it maybe. the watch was a present given to him by a gutter punk that he met down by the train tracks one night. he was told of its great power but didn't really believe it until he slowed time for the first time. as for the back pack, he got it in an eBay actuation and it wasn't until he got it that he realized its abilities. Now he is actively looking for more things like these

Dibs on liking Davis! Okay, I'll go.

Kat

Just as she was about to go into her usual Starbucks, something in the small window of the tiny store next to it caught her eye. She walked in and though the lighting was horribly dim, she made her why through the random piles of junk to where she had spotted the beautiful gloves. They were super fancy, and she examined them carefully. They were black silk and lace. But upon looking at the price tag she sadly set them back down. She got up to browse but a little man, presumably the clerk/manager stopped her. He was plump and old but seemed to know something she didn't.

"I saw you walk in and instantly go for the glove shelf. Is it true that you were looking to buy gloves?" he said, eyeing her.

"Y-yes I was looking for some gloves for my sister Jani's wedding," she said timidly. There was something wierd about that man.

"Oh, well! I have just the right pair for you!" he said, smiling widely. He soon returned with some plain lace gloves.

"I promise that you will love these gloves!"

"I-I don't know, I mean--" Kat stammered. She had wanted something a little more fancy.

"I won't take no for an answer!" the clerk insisted. "Buy these gloves and I'll throw in this lovely mirror for free!"

It was very tempting. And the gloves were kind of pretty.

"Sure. I'll take it!" Kat said, going on gut instinct.

"Good! I promise you will absolutely beautiful in these gloves!" the clerk said leading her to the register. She paid the clerk and left for her Starbucks shop.

As she walked, she decided to try the gloves on. They fit perfectly and did look pretty on her. She walked in and immediately noticed Trina Caterwalk making out with some guy in the corner, others crowded around her, waiting for their turn. She rolled her eyes but couldn't help but wish that she were as beautiful as Trina. No, she wouldn't be as pretty as Trina; she'd be prettier. She imagined how she would change herself as she waited in line. She noticed a few people turn their attention to her. She looked around to see if they were staring at something other than her, but there was nothing else there. She smiled nervously at them and gave them a little wave. They waved faintly back and went on gawking at her. Finally, she reached the head of the line.

"Ummm... I'll have a large mocha latte"

The clerk looked up at her while punching in the numbers and started staring at her too. What, do I have a pimple or something?, she thought. He handed her the receipt and change but wouldn't stop staring. When her order came up, she grabbed it and ran to sit down, covering her face. She glanced up to see almost the whole store looking at her. She couldn't ignore it any longer so she pulled out the mirror from the clerk and barely suppressed a scream as she fumbled with the delicate mirror so she wouldn't break it. Gazing at the strange reflection in the mirror, she was the beautiful face staring back at her.
I will review for you! PM about it if you need one!

For a short space of time I remained at the window watching the pallid lightnings that played above Mont Blanc and listening to the rushing of the Arve, which pursued its noise way beneath. The same lulling sounds acted as a lullaby to my too keen sensations; when I placed my head upon my pillow, sleep crept over me; I felt it as it came and blessed the giver of oblivion.
