Sam looked at the last one who hadn't answered. "And you?"
"Collin...Cheetah." The boy said, directing his attention elsewhere. Sam looked at where he was looking. A boy with fuzzy ears atop his head and an extremely fuzzy tail sticking out of his back stood in front of a drunk man, greeting him happily. Sam stood up abruptly, looking at everyone else.
"We need to get out of here," she growled, "Follow me," she shot towards the fuzzy tailed boy and grabbed the back of his shirt, pulling him away from the man and out of the pub. The others followed closely behind. As the ran Sam grabbed another guy who smelled strongly of wolf (Brad) and turned quickly into an alley, the others soon catching up. A wagon, chalk full of apples and fur was at the end of the alley, strapped to two horses. "Get on!" She shouted as they all piled in. She hopped on the front and whipped the horses once and gently. The neighed and shot off.
Jid squeaked with confusion, wondering who had just snatched him from the crowd and what was going on. The human world was a strange place to him. He scrambled towards the front of the wagon, and addressed the girl driving, "What's going on?"

Sam glared back at him and threw her head back into a laugh. "We've got Nobles on our tails, that's the problem." Her hood feel backwards and a few guards yelled.
"CLOSE THE GATES!" A large man yelled and the gates began to close. Sam hissed threw her teeth and the horses quickened, barely making it to the other side. Sam hissed in pain as an arrow grazed her ear. A few arrows hit the ground next to them, even hitting the wagon here and there. She growled and sped faster, getting as far away as possible.
Jid looked around, eyes wide as arrows sped past him. Amused by the sailing sticks, he picked one up that had landed near where he was sitting. He lifted a finger and touched the tip curiously. "Ow!" The stick had cut him! He sucked on his now bleeding finger and looked at the driver again.
She wasn't paying attention, she looked really concentrated. Jid could sense they were in some sort of trouble but he didn't really know what to rate it quite yet.
"What are nobles?" he said, taking his finger out of his mouth.
The girl growled, distracted, "Can you shut up please?!" She urged the horses faster. Jid shrugged, "Okay," and leaned back, looking at the others.
Sam looked back. "No! Don't! Last thing we need is to be charged with murder!" She growled, snatching the bow from him. The sword on her back shook violently as they near a river. The guards that were following them had disappeared. Sam sighed and fell out of her seat and on the ground, breathing hard.
Jid jumped onto the ground, tail twitching. He looked over at the girl on the ground, who was breathing hard, "You alright?"
She just nodded, eyes closed, breathing just as hard as before. Jid looked over at the others, who seemed a little scared and glad to be free. Flicking his tail, he popped some nuts into his mouth.
He held the nuts in between his teeth and changed into a chipmunk. His cheek pouches full, he hopped underneath the wagon and began eating. If he ate the nuts as a chipmunk, it would fill him up and he wouldn't be hungry when he changed back.
He closed his eyes, trilling happily. He didn't know what had just happened and he hardly cared.
