The Dorm

Dawn--

Dawn barely got anything unpacked by the time the hour was up. She quickly brushed her hair, but still put it up in a pony tail not knowing what else to do. She pulled on a baby-t that read, "Silly Boys Trucks Are For Girls" and then a pair of pants slipping her Chacos on and ran out the door towards teh coffee shop praying she wouldn't be late.

Nick followed Tristan, hoping he might bump into Channing.
"What are you studying?" He asked Tristan.

I jogged down to the little café and opened the door. She was already waiting there. She shot me a smile.

"How are you?" I asked, sitting down. She was wearing a t-shirt that said something about tractors on it. There was no doubt about it, she was proud to be from Texas.

"I'm good," she answered as I sat down.

"So anyway," I said. "What are you studying? I don't think you mentioned it?"

Dawn--

"I'm majoring in English, creative writing, literature and such. Then a minor in law. There wasn't anything else I wanted to take, but a vet thing and this school doesn't have a good program, plus I already got that while in dual inrollment." She smiled, she looked out the window then back to him. "What are you majoring in, and minoring?" She smiled.

[Ryan Peterson]

"If I were to have a girlfriend," Ryan said quietly, staring into Lily's beatiful eyes, "I would want no one other than you. You are perfect. A little nosy" she laughed "but perfect."

*sorry, it's short, but I have to go*

Lily:

"No, I'm not." I sighed. "Not even remotely. I...I have to go. We have classes in the morning." I got up. "Thanks, for the coffee."

I headed toward the door. I practically ran to my dorm.

Lilith~

Lilith bit on her pencil eraser, trying to think up a daily poem. Suddenly the door swung open and Lily walked in. "Lily? What's wrong?" She asked.

"Huh? Oh, nothing!" Lily said, unconvincingly.

Lily:

"Do you like writing?" I asked, curious.

"Yes, I do." she answered.

"Awesome! Me too." I tried to sound excited.

"What's wrong?" she asked again.

I sighed and sat down beside her.

Lilith~

Lilith scoot over, so Lily had enough room. "So?" She asked again, curiosity taking over.

**Grr so short!**

Lily:

"I...I..I think I'm in love. But...he doesn't love me back. I...I thought he did, but he doesn't. and...It's just...the first time anyone's been intrested in me. Is there something wrong with me?" I started crying. I was being so stupid! Over a guy I had just met!

[Ryan Peterson]

She had left him... alone! In the coffee shop! Gah! He was such a jerk.

The waitress eyed him, expecting him to give her some tip. He ignored her and paid for the coffee. Ryan walked out of the coffee shop.

He was always like this; always destroying someone heart. Always shattering... when would he go right?

Ryan entered his dorm and collasped on his bed. He drifted off into a nightmare.

Lilith~

"Aw, Lily," Lilith gave her a hug, "There's nothing wrong with you." She smiled at her. "Nothing at all. He probably just wasn't your guy." Lilith patted Lily on the back, trying to comfort her.

Lily:

I gave her a weak smile. "I'm being rediculous." I sighed and wiped away the tears. "Do you need an editor? I'd love to help you with your writing..if you want me to." I smiled.

*Um, I don't know the whole major/minor system... here you just do one thing...*

"I'm studying medicine," I told her. "I want to be a doctor."

"Ooh," she said with a grin. "Clever boy."

I shrugged. "I guess. A little."
