**TN, is it alright if Fred and Adam are friends? Looks like they'd get on well...**

Fred wandered around the ballroom, through the crinolines and rustling silks looking around himself.

Standing near the entrance, Adam looked slightly forlorn. Fred watched as a woman descended the stairs, to Adam's adoring gaze.

Fred continued on his rounds. There was a waltz picking up.

Nearby a very pretty young girl with dark blonde hair with her corset pulled tight below her blue dress to create a very thin waist smiled at him.

He bowed. "May I have this dance?" he asked.
"Stella. You were in my dream the other night. And everyone called you Princess." -Lauren2010

Tathilia:

"Introducing Lady Tathilia, Daughter of The Duke of Hastings."
As Tathilia slowly desended the stairs, she glanced about adn noticed a very hansome looking young man standing with his gaze fixed apon her. Silently she whispered to her maid beside her "Is there something wrong with my hair?"

"No my darlin' you jest as pretty as can be madam." Her maid replied.

"Then why are they staring at me? It's making me very nervous." she told her maid.

"I dont know your highness, I dont know." Was all she said before Tathilia was confronted with the hansome young man.

"Would you like to dance?" He asked.

"I'd be delighted." She replied.

*hope this is ok TN*

***It's fine to both of you!***

Adam-

Adam smiled as he led her to the dance floor. The music started and they slowly followed the steps that were for this dance. He had been made to know every step to every dance. They slowly circled each other at one point,

"What is it like having The Duke Of Hasting as your father?" HE asked for light conversation. He mentally kicked himself, That was a very stupid question, but he didn't change his expression.

"I guess it is nice." She smiled, "Well, you seem to know who I am, but I am at a loss of you you are."

"I am Adam, Count Adam Templer." He smiled doing a small bow.
"And you wonder why we don't like you!" -Trumpkin

Sam sighed, he didn't really like these parties much, but he had to attend. It was a way for him to gain support. he looked around for something to do and say a young lady stand across the way all alone as the others danced. He stood up and walked over.

She looked at him and he smiled, "My name is Samuel Wilhart, Duke of this province," he bowed slightly.

"Adrianne, lady Adrianne," she replied.

"A pleasure to meet you. Would you like to dance?" He held out his hand waiting for a response.
I will always fight back, no matter what.

Name: Lady Katherine Hart

Age: 17

Appearance: Average height. Long curly black hair. Greenish-blue eyes. Very pretty.

Personality: Likes reading romantic novels. Is very flirtatious. Is a horrible dancer.

History: Both of her parents died ( killed by mystery man) Was raised by her Aunt Rose, who is the daughter of a Duke( don't have a clue where) and a scullery maid. ( Rose's father was disowned for this connection but that's a whole different story) Katherine's Uncle(by marriage), Thomas Gardiner, is a very rich man and wishes for Katherine to be married to the richest man in London. Only Katherine wants to marry for love.

Adrianne

Attractive, and a gentleman thus far.

I delicately took his hand. "I'd be honored, kind sir."

With that, we moved onto the ballroom's floor.

Count Adam-

Adam walked to the drink table kicking himself for not offering first. He grabbed two cups of punch and went back to where she was standing handing her one.

"So, what brings you to this region?" He asked taking a sip of his own.

Count Adam--

Adam laughed at her red cheeks, "Ah yes, fathers are good for that, nothing to be embarressed about." He laughed, he hoped she didn't feel offended by his laughing though.

Not long after Sam and Adrianne started dancing had the song ended. He rubbed his head, "I guess we came in at the end of the song. Shall we grab a drink till the next one?"

"That would be nice."

He nodded and they made there way towards the refreshment table, but one of his servants came up to him and whispered something in his ear, "No, it can't be."

Sam started to run and Adrianne followed as best she could it seemed. He threw open a door only to see two of his men dead. One he didn't recognized.

"What happened here?" asked Adrianne as she put her hands over her mouth.

"We have to get everyone out of her, come on!"

(Thought I'd spice things up a bit to keep it alive.)

Katherine watched as the room emptied. She didn't know what was going on but she knew it must have been bad if everyone was running.
As she ran, Katherine, tripped over her dress. Pain shot through her body.
Before she could gather up the strength to stand, two strong hands lifted her up.
