I helpped the best I could, I wasn't very good at the hands on building thing but I did my best. When finally we gave up on the two person working idea, I started doing some weaving for some better beds and blankets.
Colt was making hte same design for the quick lean-tos. He would make a house later, because it would take longer and would be harder. When he finished they still had a little sunlight.
When I noticed that Colt had finished the leanto I was half way through cooking dinner. He smiled and laid down on the ground next to me and Trinity with her puppy wolf Hopey.
I laid down next to him and his arm drew me closer.
Colt held Inez close. He never wanted to let her go, never wanted to be without her again. Trinity blinked a few times and woke up and she started playing with Hopey. She came over just when the food was gone. "We're hungery, how much longer til we can eat?" She asked
"When you can train that puppy to catch our food." Colt laughed smiling at her. Trinity looked terrified.
"But he is too little, and he would get hurt." She said sticking her lower lip out in a pout.
Colt smiled, "I'll go hunting before sun up." He said as they finished. "When that pups get bigger though, and if we are still here. He does need to help a little."
"Will he get hurt?" She asked softly.
"Not if we are careful. He will be fine." Colt said smiling.
"Alright, we need to sleep. So, off to bed little one" He smiled shooing Trinity towards the lean-tos. He helped Inez up and walked towards their lean-to.
