(And just a side note to guys - if a girl sits there and argues with you when you call her beautiful, this is not a sign to stop saying it... it just means that she needs you to tell her it more so that she can convince herself of it... sorry, that was sort of out of the blue)

Agreed.

Sureal, you have no idea how shy I am.

BlueStone, you think way too much. It can't be good for you.

Shy? Are you kidding me? All those arguements we had on the other board! Sheesh... If that's shy, I don't want to know your... *cough* happy side. Must I go back to it? Perfectionism? Ahhhh, don't get me started, or I'll start thinking again. *puff!* and the handsome man disappears in a cloud of blue smoke. A sigh erupts from the table of women... :D

Well right now i'm saving up my money for a camera since it'll take too long to wait for my birthday.

My birthday is July 11th so... if I don't save up, everyone will be waiting for another month and a half.

Well ... it's different when I get to know people, then I'm not shy. Anyway, you should be flattered I actually argued, I don't do that unless I feel comftable (mental blank: can't spell comftable) around the person. Seriously. I get into a killer argument with some people, but just fade away around others. *shrugs* it doesn't mean I like the person, just that I don't mind yelling around, or at, them.

 I don't think you want to know my happy side either. It's very annoyingly cheerful, and it tends to hum this stupid annoying tune that's been stuck in my head for the past few months that I can't get rid of. I don't even know where the tune came from.

Well, I usually like guys that do not follow me around everywhere I go and made a big deal about me; they just are there and don't put on a show, someone who's not going to flirt with every girl they see, not tell me I need to change for them, someone I feel comfortable around, someone who doesn't approach me just a few days after we've met, -I don't really care what they look like-, someone who will tell me the truth no matter how much it hurts, will not try to please me with his every move (just be himself) and someone who will stand up for me. There are, of course, many more standards, but I'm too tired to list anymore...

I cant be bothered going back through the whole thread so I dont know if this has been said before, but...

Personally, I find honesty a big issue - not just saying what they think I want to hear but telling it like it is. About anything. Plus, accepting me the way I am, warts and all...intelligence...a sense of humor, ability to surprise me, someone who makes me feel equal and appreciated and is willing to admit it when he's wrong....

I could go on forever, really, but those are the main things.
Got a poem or short story you want me to critique?

There is only one success: to be able to spend your life in your own way, and not to give others absurd maddening claims upon it. (C D Morley)

I make you feel comfortable? Really? How comfortable? Wait! Were you the one that argued Crysi for the rightful spot to a honeymoon with me?! Damn! If so, I must make you really comfy. Glass of champagne? Let's pick up where we last dropped off, k? I think you were making me a mug of tea while I feinted. Two cubes of sugar please... Oh, and a shot of half-n-half... Back in the day!

Firstly, I'm too young to drink. Plus, that was not me, and ...
*shrugs* it doesn't mean I like the person, just that I don't mind yelling around, or at, them.

You obviously missed this bit. Lastly, you're not my type. And I mean exactly opposite to my type when I say "not my type". Amusing though, and I needed to be amused.
Mostly it's just here *waves hands about* in general that makes me feel comfortable (HA!!! I can spell it now!) I feel like I can say anything and that people like me for me. I don't hide "me" ("me" is a very precious thing, I don't show it to many people in real life) here, so I'm not afraid to yell, scream or just be random, I suppose. I can't remember the last time I screamed out loud, or even just yelled. I think I fear confrontation, I weasel out of amazingly tight spots to aviod it.

Yes, honesty is a rather large word for me too. The big to words are TRUST and SUPPORT for me. If I don't trust someone, well, no chance. None whatsoever. Support is the other one because I don't get alot of it from anywhere else, probably because I have this thing where I bottle stuff up and never talk about myself to anyone. So big thing for me.
But the biggest word (the really big, ultimite word) is safety. If I don't feel safe around the person, for however minor not-safe thing, then I just close up. Freeze over. Fade away. Hide "me". And they never see "me" again. Ever.

I'm feeling very talkitive about "me" at the moment. I just noticed how much I said about it. Probably because I was playing Misty Night Blues on piano for the fisrt time in about a year. Hope I'm not like this at school tomorrow.
