*I'm kind of lost with all of this Helms deep stuff..but since my character has amnesia its all good..I'll just latch onto someone...*
____________________________________________________________________
[Coraline]

She had been walking around in Rohan for God knows how long. The only thing she was sure of was he name, Coraline, and her last memory. Well, her only memory. It was pretty blurry but she could see definite figures around her, laughing and talking. She was pretty high up and then she was either pusehd or she jumped because suddenly she was flying through the air. She heard screams and then there was darkness. She wasn't 100% sure of her name though. She just figured Coraline was her name since it was egraved on the heart shaped locket around her neck. She had been wandering around the country trying to find things that would bring her memory back, but she couldn't. Nothing helped. She was in an army town now, where veteran soldiers and trainees stayed.he She was walking like she was in a haze, trying to soak up every detail and remember soemthing, anything. Suddenly she ran smack into a rather strong man she grabbed her by the shoulders to keep her from falling backwards and abruptly let go.
"Sorry, I wasn't paying very good attention to where I was going."
"That's alright." He said flashing a brilliant smile. She felt like she might fall again. When she just stood there in silence like a dope he stuck his hand out and said, "I'm Aedomir."
"Coraline, I think." She shook his hand and laughed.
"You think." She suddenly caught herself. This was the first person she had talked to in a long time. When she had talked to people it was usually just to ask directions to the nearest town. Could she really trust someone with telling them about her amnesia? Could she trust that he wouldn't lie to her or try to take advantage of the situation? She decided to not take the risk.
"Oh, its a long story." She couldn't stop staring into his gorgeous eyes, or looking at his strong handsome face.
All you need is 20 seconds of insane courage, and I promise you something great will come of it.

(OK, we are at the bit when Aragorn, Legolas, Gimli and Gandalf save the king bty!)

~Aedomir

Aedomir studied the woman, Coraline eh? he thought. Nice name, but still, what was she doing here? "Come with me," he said, and at once she followed him outside the door. "Do you live in the city?" He asked patiently.

"I... I don't know. I imagine so..."

"Well there are no more towns for hundreds of leagues from here on," he said. "How can you forget where you live?" Surpirsingly, he was not annoyed. "Just think, where do you live?"

"I tried... but I just don't know..." He studied Aedomir up and down, eyes locked with his.

Aedomirr did the same, wondering what this woman was doing. "Would it help if I took you back to me house, and gave you some room to think?"

"Thank you... That would be-"

A smash roared from the keep. A man was standing high up the steps of Edoras, holding the king's sword and stepping towards a cowring man, retreating down the steps. "Your treachery, would have had me crawling on all fours like beast!"

"Please no, I have and always will serve Rohan!"

"Liar!" The man raised his sword of the coward and went t strike. He kicked him at the face so hard he tumbled down the stairs.

Just as th king's sword neared the man's head, a ranger jumped forward and grabbed hold of the sword. "Please," he said. "Enough blood has been spilt on his account."

Aedomir looked the ranger up and down. Could this be? No... surely... Aragorn? And the white rider! The man was the king! The shadow had passed him finally! Suddenly, the man coering on the steps stood up and hurried away, out of the gates of Edoras. Aedomir went to go after him, but stopped when he realised he was free.

"The king... Anyway, my house..." Aedomir hurried down the path towards his house.

Caedwyn heard the commotion from the stables where his horse, Amenorin, was stabled. Bolting the door behind him, he grabbed his sword from the chair outside the stall and attatched it to his baldric. Stepping outside, he saw a large crowd gathered by the steps to the Golden Hall.

Not so golden of late, he mused. A man stood on the steps, holding a sword in one hand. Even from this distance, Caedwyn could tell by his posture that this man was angry. Very angry. With a start, he saw the man swing the sword up in a high arc, and was about to bring it down when another man dashed in, grabbing his arms. By now, Caedwyn was close enough to see another man, the king's advisor, cowering on the steps.

"No my lord!" the man cried, and Caedwyn realized with a start that this was Theoden himself. He looked around, and saw an old man in white step out from the shadows of the hall.

Saruman?! he thought, horrified, and his hand went to the hilt of his sword, although it would do little good. But Grima fled the king's presence, and Caedwyn saw another man tense, about to go after him, then relax.

The man in white talked softly to the king, and Caedwyn realised that this was not Saruman. But that could only leave the Grey Wizard, Gandalf. Looking closer, he saw that it was indeed Gandalf, grey no longer. Shaking his head in wonder, he made his way back to the stable.

Bella:

I watched as everyone crowded around the comotion. "Hello Gandolf." I greeted. We were old friends. Odd, yes. But, still. My mother and Gandolf had been close.

Everyone stared at me in amazement. I realized, a bit too late, that I had been informal, familiar with the great Grey. I flushed slightly, but hid it. Brian looked at me and smiled. He was laughing! Suddenly my temper flared up.

"Just calm down, Bella." Brian said. "People don't know who knows Gandolf, and who doesn't. They are...surprised is all."

I waited til I was calm again, then strode towards the great wizard, now watching me patiently. He knew what I was like.

"I'm sorry if I interupted." I apologized.

"It is fine, Isabella." he said warmly. "Just taking care of a...little annoyance." he frowned at the king.

I glared. He had no right to be king!

Brian:

He watched his sister, amused. It was hilarious to him when she got angry! It was so fun to watch because she couldn't even say two words.

Well, it was funny as long as she didn't actually act on her feelings. She was an excellent fighter, and coudl obliterate her oponent. But, that was something she rarely did. She was compassionate, and frustrated with how the country was run.

But, it wasn't her job either.

"Come on, Bella. Let's go for a ride? We can hunt. Your favorite thing." he smiled.

She sighed. "Okay. Goodbye, Gandolf, my old friend." she said warmly, still glaring at the king. "Hope you settle everything."

We both walked towards the stables.

Brenda watched the ranger jump out and stop the man from harming the other. She smirked, seeing the man's scowl. Sitting on the stone ledge, she had a good view of the event.

She jumped down and walked away from Aragorn and the man, her fingers playing on one of her swords' hilt. As she strolled down the walkway and turned a corner, she found herself nearly running into the Grey Wizard, Gandalf himself.

"Excuse me, sir," she muttered, sidestepping.

"Oh, quite alright," Gandalf replied. Brenda looked up at him, not expecting a reply, and ran into the man standing in front of him.

"Oh, I'm sorry," Brenda said, practically shooing the incident aside.

The man smiled at her. "No need to apologize; it's my fault." He stepped aside and Brenda walked away, leaving between him and the girl next to him. The streets were crowded today, but it didn't much matter. She was about to leave the city, after quite a stay.

Caedwyn stood murmuring to Amenorin, speaking softly to his friend when he heard the door to the stable open. By the footsteps, he sensed two people, one might be female. Caedwyn sat there quietly, the ability to talk to horses was an elven trait and not one he wanted discovered, as it would lead to questions. And he despised questions. He waited, hoping not to be noticed, wishing he had his dark cloak to blend into the shadows of the stall.

Bella:

I was still angry. My brother was laughing. "Do you want me to take your head off?!" I challenged. He tried to control his laughing.

I strolled past him to my baby. "Hello darling. How are you today?" she snorted. "Sorry to keep you waiting." I replied. "There...was an incident." I frowned. "Not you too! Fine! You can stay in your stall for all I care!" I was mad, furious, and about to strike something.

My brother grabbed my hand. "Not here, Bella. Wait. Please. Remember the last time?"

I exhauled. "Fine."

Then I noticed someone else in here. "What do you want?!" I gripped, not in the mood to socialize. "Laughing at me too?" I glared.

Brian:

As his sister saw the stranger, he also noticed another presence. "Sorry about my sister. SHe's not in a good mood." he couldn't stop laughing, it was just so funny! And any threats his sister made to him were empty. Of course, she would have no problem with hurting someone else.

"Hope we didn't startle you." He continued, holding back laughter.
