Dragon Riders

Nina~

Nina smiled. "He'll be fine." She stated. "It's just that one gash, but I'm afraid if he keeps complaining and nagging like he's doing I might have to put him to sleep for a while." Nina glared at Yuki, who layed his large head on a pile of hay.

(Sorry...I just woke up~

Satika:

God, that feels so good! Satika thought to herself as she let the wind blow through her long red hair. When she woke up, she had a strange feeling that something bad was going to happen. Oddly enough, her eyes were emerald. That only happens when something bad was going to happen.
"Well Mika, I do believe my earlier concerns about today were childish." She told Mika. Just as she began to relax, the emerald on her dagger started to glow. Oh, god please no! It might give our position away! Slowly the dagger began to vibrate, then rise into the air. Frantically, Satika grabbed at it, just managing to catch it before it got out of her reach. Quickly she put it safely in her pocket.

Jade smiled meekly as her eyes landed on the red dragon. River shifted behind her, settling back on the floor but not daring to sleep just yet.

"Are the demons close to here?" Jade asked as the thought suddenly occurred to her. "Should we be worried?"

River silently applauded Jade's quick-thinking. It only rarely happened, especially with a stranger.

Okay, I introduced my charrie, but I'm not in...can someone bring me in?

*Yeah, just act like you ran into me while im on the run.*

"Sweep, stop!" I shouted.

"Why?" she asked.

"Because there's a town!"

"And?"

"And I'm hungry!" I wailed, crouching low on her neck. "Come on!"

"But we were just picking up speed." she said.

I snorted. "Plummet."

She shook her head, moving me slightly.

"Go on, I dare you to." I said to her.

She shook her head again.

"Too scared."

She turned to give me a glare. "I'm never scared."

She went into a nosedive, straight to earth. I braced myself, I could see a square, cobblestones. She better pull up, I thought, or she'll kill us both.

But I've never suggested we should pull up. I love to tease Sweep by making her think I'm braver than her.

She did pull up and skidded to a stop on the cobbles. I jumped off her back.

She sniffed the air and cocked her head. "There's more dragons in there." she said, looking at a bar.

"Let's go introduce ourselves!" I said happily, dragging her with me.

** can someone make me enter? It can be a completely stupid and embarrassing thing for my character to do or anything, use your imagination!**

Cara & Crest-

'There are several dragons around here, that could mean trouble.' Crest said rubbing his head against Cara's back. She nodded as a dragon and it's rider walked through teh door. The rider was a girl, an ELF! Cara frowned, that probably really meant there was trouble. She didn't see many elves. Crest streched out his neck and let an odd sound rubble through is neck, probably a hello. She couldn't tell.



**Grr, stupid brain.**

Nina & Yuki~

Nina shook her head, "No they aren't very close. At least I don't think. It took us four hours to get here from the attack, even on this big guy." Nina patted Yuki's front leg. "Unless the demon move over two hundred miles an hour then I don't think they're that close." Nina smiled at Jade. "No need to worry."

Trissa and Sweep.

"Hi," I said, catching sight of another girl, sitting rubbing the neck of her dragon. "I thought Sweep was lying when she said there were other dragons around."

The girl raised her eyebrows.

"Wow, is he Fire? I've never met a Fire one before," I said, admiring the red head of her dragon.

"Yes. His name is Crest. I'm Cara," she said cautiously.

"Come on, I'm hardly a demon am I?" I laughed. "I'm Trissa, this is Sweep. Wind."

"You're a long way from home," she remarked.

"Oh look, you're not one of those who believes when elves turn up demons are going to too? Because that's not why we're here. We just kind of overshot."

"Overshot?"

"Sweep was determined to get there by noon." I said. Sweep snorted. "And she flew so fast we completely missed where we were supposed to go, so we're turning back."

"Where are you going?"

I grinned, and Sweep curled her mouth. "If you mean Trissa, then elves do mean bad news. We like to go where there's danger."

Cara & Crest-

Cara frowned and crossed her arms. "Stick around with us you wont need to look for it." She frowned,

~ Jade and River ~

Jade's cheeks turned a light shade of pink. "That's good to know."

River jumped up again, his nostrils flaring. "Dragons!"

Jade's face fell and looked down the cave. Shadows were barely visible down the distant walls. She involuntarily stepped back. However, Nina didn't look too worried. Jade remained where she was, unsure of what to do. River walked up by the two elves, prepared for whoever could be outside the tavern.

"Well, at least there aren't any demons out there," Jade said hopefully.

"More elves," River grunted. He turned his big head to the two elves and Yuki. "You may need to go see who they are as well."

Jade didn't much like the idea, walking out into the tavern full of strange humans. "Go see? They can come down here if they want to speak with us," Jade said cowardly. River's eyes narrowed, but didn't reply. He wouldn't argue with her, but can show his disapproval.

(Can some one bring me in, or am I already in?)

(I don't know, perhaps you are, I'm in the bar, if that's any use, just walk in, I did).

I grinned at her. "Sounds good."

Sweep seemed to signal something to Crest. She smirked at me.

I slapped her neck. "Sweep, you can't do that to me!" I said. "What did you say?"

"Nothing." Crest said in a resonate low grumble.

I turned back to the bar and ordered a drink.

"So what do you guys do for fun then?" I asked.

She shrugged.

"And are there any of my kind around?" I asked, indicating my ears. "Only I haven't had a decent race in ages."

**TN- you know Cara means "friend" in Irish? Just a useless fact...**

Crest-

Crest sniffed the air, 'There's another Fire dragon around.' He said slowly moving towards the door, Cara followed excusing her self for a minute to the Elf. He looked outside and saw an emarld colored dragon and his rider coming towards the hotel.

"Well, I'll be, I haven't seen a Fire in a while." Cara mumbled, "Should we talk to them?"

Crest didn't say anything, he just shook his head and pulled Cara close to him, it was a male rider and dragon. He didn't trust men, not one bit, not with Cara around. He heard her growl and he laughed, 'We'll wait.'



*That good Pie(I think it's Tony, right???) I didn't know that, that is cool.*

"More Elves?" Nina perked up. She looked to Jade's fearful eyes. "Come on, let's go see!"

"River, I don't think it's anything to worry about," Jade said, fully facing the golden dragon.

"Just a few moments ago, we thought you were the only elf around," River argued. "Now more are showing up. I'll come with in case anything happens."

Jade looked at River before turning around, excused herself, and walking down the tunnel, her hands shaking, fingers tapping the dagger in her belt. River walked behind her, his eyes scanning the front of the tavern where more dragons and two others stood, looking outside. Jade watched them, not sure what to do or say.
