Tamara watched hte girl dancing around and playing, almost as if she didn't have a care in the world. She leaned against Warren, she missed Thorn, but they hadn't been able to find her.
"Whats wrong?" Warren asked looking down at her.
"I wish we could find Thorn." She said looking around the crowd again. Her eyes landed on a girl not much younger then her.
*i'm with Maki, but can someone make a list of characters so we don't have to keep backtracking?*
Kaoli-
Time had passed rapidly as Kaoli wandered aimlessly through the small town. The sound of laughter and music drifted on the air, and she turned towards it catching sight of a dancer circled by a small crowd. I sighed and quietly joined the crowd.
It was only mid-morning and already the day was baking hot, it was too bad her coloring was so distinctive, Kaoli had to keep her hood up. Luckily the shirt she was wearing had no sleeves so she wasn't all that hot.
She glanced over at one of the street vendors and quietly bought one of the kabobs he was selling, tossing a spare coin into the dancers tin. Kaoli leaned back against the wall and glanced around the square. There was a boy and girl who were acting like siblings nearby. And another girl who gave off a feeling of innate watchfulness, even as she enjoyed the town sights.
Kaoli heard a rustle behind her and turned quickly grabbing the pickpockets wrist as he reached for her pouch. She smiled at the kid, who couldn't have been more then nine. "Now what do we have here. A boy with sticky fingers mayhap?"

I allowed my eyes to open and saw that i stood in the main square of Kon. I could see ships and the ocean to one side, and a dancing girl opposite the harbor. I glanced at the note in my hand.
"Spice of Marjoram. That's what he wanted me to get? Then why send me here?" i murmured, puzzled. I shrugged, looking around. A growing crowd circled the girl.
"Why not?" i thought, and went to see what the girl was doing.
Zip-
I continued to sing and dance, marveling at the number of people gathered around today. Usually no more than five gathered at a time. Today there was at least fifteen, maybe twenty. I smiled in delight and moved to a new song.
As a sang, i took in all the faces. A brother and a sister, by the looks of it, stood side by side at the side. Others stood around, one was a girl with black hair and olive eyes. Coins clinked in the cup.
Then my eyes found a face that was all too familiar. I nearly froze, but managed to regain my composure and finish the song. I blinked, my eyes never leaving the figure.
It couldn't be him. He was dead! I watched the dragonmen drag him off! There was no way that that man, standing at the edge of the crowd, was my brother.
Still, his face was almost exactly as i remembered it. His eyes were the same color. His smile the same.
Before i could find out if it really was Nathan or not, he disappeared in the crowd and i lost sight of him. I sighed and sat back against the wall.
"It couldn't have been him anyway." i muttered to myself. "Impossible."
Be the cartoon heart. Light a fire, light a spark. Light a fire, flame in my heart. We'll run wild, we'll be glowing in the dark.
Ninette stared at the dancing girl from her spot next to the huge oak. She slowly edged away from it, Blind Seer right next to her. A few whispers and points came from the town folk. She walked up to the girl and place a bag of gold coins in the tin and backed away, bowing as she did so. Blind Seer grabbed another bag of gold from the many on Ninette's belt, and threw it into the tin. He smiled a wolf-like smile and sat down to enjoy the remaining part of the show.
"Blind Seer. Come." Ninette hissed. Blind Seer put his left paw in the air, as if to say 'wait'. Ninette rolled her eyes and stood completely still, waiting for the huge wolf.
Thorn entered the town. The sounds of music playing could be heard in the background. Her stomach growled.
"Jerky...must have jerky." Thorn moaned.
She turned around the corner. Thorn froze; the preditor. A monster that had been hunting her down for 2 years. Her 'father'- the man who obsessed over finding the God Stone. He was so dedicated to it that he ended up sacrificing her mother and almost killing Thorn as well. Slowly Thorn walked back around the corner. She had avoided him seeing her. She had to find Tamara and Warren- before her father did.

"Are you alright?" I asked the girl as she sat back against the wall, a look of sheer shock on her face.
"I-" she frowned and skimmed the crowd again.
"You thought you saw someone I knew?" I asked, knowing that to be the case.
"Yes. It- it couldn't have been, the person's dead." she said shaking her head. She gave me a quick smile. "I'm seeing things."
"Don't worry," I said softly. "It happens to us all when we lose somebody." I paused. "You sing wonderfully. Better than me at any rate. I'm sorry I don't have anything to give you."
"That's alright." she said. "I was doing it to stop the boredom really."
"I'm Tysa by the way," I said by way of introduction.
"Zip," she said, her eyes already sifting through the crowds again.
"Stella. You were in my dream the other night. And everyone called you Princess." -Lauren2010
