(Gah. Frustrating, but I have to leave really soon. This battle will have to be postponed. >>)

Walter was about to fire at the advancing Breed Warrior, but to Rogue Vampires slid into existance behind him. Walter recognized them; they weren't the same weak type he had watched fall like bowling pins.

"You're wanted back," one of them hissed. "Now."

Walter ground his teeth, but holstered his pistol as the two Rogues flew toward the Warrior. With one last look, he lit another cigerette and took off.

(Feel free to kill off the two Rogue vamps if you want. I'll see you guys in a week.)

I'm afraid I'm going to have to step out of this one, too. Like Valor, school is catching up and the main testing for the year is coming up. But have fun!

Sorry!

Monanoke-

Something wasn't right. The sounds of shouting and yelling could be heard upstairs. Monanoke ran up the stairs- wishing to see what was happening.

Alex was confused.

She couldn't hear or feel anything and the world seemed to move in slow-motion. She had seen the vampire come to her aid then the girls had blocked her view. She could vaguely make out the vampire, Drake, battling two other Rogues.

She silently cursed herself. Why had she been so stubborn? No, her family had died because of those things. Jake hadn't stayed either.

There was nothing to feel. She knew there was blood, she could see it on the concrete. The three girls rushed about her and for a moment she wished she could shout at them and tell them she was fine. But something paralised her and she stopped.

She could see past the girls now.

Drake was in trouble.

*Alright, has anyone claimed Drake, or can I????*

Alana-

"Find the base, I'm going to help." She hissed running towards where Drake had gone pulling the dagger seh kept under her shirt out. She had a gun in her boot if she needed it. She ran to the roof to see two vampires running towards where Drake was. She pulled out her gun and found a good hiding spot leveling it towards one of hte vampires and aimed. She licked her lower lip and rechecked her aim. She was about to pull the trigger when the vampire she had been aiming at turned around and looked at her.

Of course, he can smell you! she hissed at herself. She pulled the trigger right after he jumped. He ran towards her the other running towards Drake. Alana quickly holstered her gun and pulled the long dagger out, crouching down ready to pounce when he got close enough.

*All right. I'll fill you in if you miss too much, Phindin!*

Drake

Just what I needed. Two Rogues to deal with. And these weren't the same from before; these had been caught in Bloodlust for a while, and they were strong.

Blades clashed around me. It was all I could hear. All I could smell were their stench of old blood and decay. All I saw were their glowing eyes and fangs.

Another gunshot distracted me, making me slip on the tiles of the roof. Down even a second cost me; one of the Rogue tackled me, jumping on top of me, and we slid along the roof to tumble to the hard concrete below...

I had to act fast. I whipped out a long blade with a titanium edge. A single slice to the throat finished the suckhead off, and the molecular meltdown began. Soon, he would be nothing but ash.

I landed hard on my shoulder, and blood seeped from a couple of abrasions and cuts, but I would be fine. I had to be fine.

That's when I noticed her. Alana.

No time to lose. If that Rogue caught her, she was dead. That was absolute.

I shakily pulled out a pistol, lined up the sights, and threw off the safety. A single shot to the head. That was all it took.

Alana-

Alana watched as the vampire neared. He suddenly fell dead as a gun shot sounded. She looked around and saw Drake. SHe stood up and walked over to him looking at the cuts on his shoulder where the shirt had been torn.

"I could've killed it." She said stubbornly,

"Where's Alex?" He demanded,

"They went looking for the base you talked about." She replied, "Are you ok?"

Monanoke saw Alex ad Alana fighting the rouges. The scent of blood filled the air.

"What's happening!" She screamed.

Alex and Alana turned to face her.

"This is great," Jenna muttered. "The two of them just assume I don't have anything better to be doing. You doing okay Naomi?"

Naomi whimpered and drew the scarf further over her nose.

"Well, obviously I would prefer if we didn't have to carry someone who was bleeding to death either..." Jenna said, trying to lighten the mood. "This Base, where is it?"

Naomi pointed down the street, to the left.

"Really? That close?"

"Tunnel." she said in a muffled voice.

"Great." Jenna said. They continued on their way.

Standing under the light of a streetlamp was a familiar figure. Jenna frowned. But no, it couldn't be, she had gone home.

"Monanoke?" she asked. "What are you doing?"
"Stella. You were in my dream the other night. And everyone called you Princess." -Lauren2010

Drake

I got to my feet, rotating my shoulder and flexing my arm. Nothing was broken, at least. It just hurt.

"The Base isn't far," I said, putting the gun back in its holster. "It's just down the road. They should be there by now."

"It's that close?"

I nodded. "Come on."

And I led the way back.

Naomi~

"Monanoke?" Jenna asked. "What are you doing?"

"That's not Manonoke." Naomi hissed.

"What do you mean?" Jenna asked alarmed.

"That's a Rogue, named Jacevalisa." She stared at the figure.

"Jacevalisa?" Jenna stated, still a little confused. The rogue took a step foward and smiled, showing her vampiric teeth.

"Yes." Naomi growled and set Alex down. She took a step forward, closer to Jace, drawing her dagger.

Jenna cursed herself for being so utterly useless, having no knives, no skill at fighting or nursing and getting them into this mess in the first place.

She watched Naomi fight. Jacevalisa's teeth glinted in the light, and her eyes were fixed on Alex.

Jenna bit her lip. The cloth they had pressed against the wound was soaked right through. She took a deep breath and ripped a strip off her own shirt, a little sadly, it had been one of her brother's, and wrapped it quickly around.

Naomi and Jace were twirling, daggers against each other, teeth bared, locked in mortal combat.

"Go on!" Naomi called. Jenna awkwardly picked Alex up, avoiding her shoulder.

"Flip, she's heavy," she said with a gasp, and with a last, worried look in Naomi's direction she asked "Are you sure you'll be alright?"

"I'll be fine, but if you don't hurry, Alex won't be. It's Number Forty Two, get her into safety! I'll follow."

"Number Forty Two," Jenna said to herself and after one last glance towards the duelling vampires she set off at a run.

"Uhhh....where am I?" Monanoke moaned.

A man began to laugh. The black haired girl knew she was in troubled. She was tied up sitting in a chair.

"You look absolutly delisious." The man playfuly said.

IT was a rouge. He was probably going to eat her. Monanoke's heart pounded harder and harder.

"Someone...help me!" She screamed.

Thirty Six, Thirty Eight, Forty...

A figure was suddenly standing in front of her, yet another vampire drawn to the scent of blood that covered both of them.

"Oh no you don't!" Jenna said, and ran to the door of Forty Two. She banged on it with all her might.

"Get this door open right now!"

And suddenly, it was open she slipped inside with Alex, and the door slammed in the face of the rogue.

Jenna looked up into the face of yet another vampire.

"Hello." she said. "I'm Jenna. This is Alex. She got shot. There's rogues out there. I'd hurry if I were you. Where's this tunnel?"

Monanoke struggled- hoping to break free and get away from the rogue's grasp. But the ropes were to tight and strong. She could not brake free. The rouge gentaly stroked Monanoke's soft plale neck. She coud see his fangs poke out of his lips.

"Is this the end?" Se wondered.
