Unfortunately; Fortunately

Fortunately, the clock was now working backwards.

Unfortunately, someone threw a muffin at it and it started working properly again.

Fortunately, someone else threw a vanilla muffin at it and the clock broke.

Unfortunately, there was another clock behind it that was working properly and couldn't be destroyed.

Fortunately, the unbroken clock was running on Mars time.

Unfortunately, they were all on Mars!!

Fortunately, the clock was put on a spaceship and sent off to the Sun, where it was burnt.

Unfortunately, being impossible to be destroyed, it electrocuted the sun, stopping the fusion reaction and causing the sun to go out, which plunged the world into darkness.

Fortunately, there are billions of other stars in the universe, and it wasn't long before we (or people involved in this story) moved closer to another planet closer to a star.

Unfortunately, a supernova unscientifically froze them til the star became a red giant and engulfed the planet, killing them all. But melting them first.

-_- Fortunately.... they all went to heaven and lived an eternal happy life. There.

Unfortunately the devil and his army of evil sinners attacked heaven, took it over, and made everyone there their slaves.

Fortunately, a hero emerged from the slaves, yelled: THIS IS SPAR- .... ummm... HEAVEN!
And kicked them all back down to Hell.

Unfortunately, they all had such thick skin that when he kicked them he hurt his foot instead of kicking them back down to hell. So we have a so-called-hero jumping around, holding his extremely red toe, yelling "Mommy! It hurts!"

Fortunately, his humiliation was soon forgotten as he was the one who practically freed the whole of heaven. And, there was a huge party in celebration of the event.
