Adilah-

I was over welmbed by Dali's hug.

"Don't worry. I am alright. Just a couple of cuts and bruises. Nothing seroius though."
I reasured her.

Alex walked up to me." What didi they want?" He asked.

I bent closer to his ear." They wanted to know about the treasure. The pecie of Edin."

He gave a shocked look." but... I thought it was destroyed by Master Altair."

"No it was not." I whispered.
(the conversation between Adilah and Alex*2 masters* no one can hear.)

"What but why?" Alex asked.

He felt betrayl from Master Altair." Do not fret, he is imunded to its power and he uses it for good."

"How?" Alex asked- his voice filled with anger.

" Negoseations and to prevent the slaughter of innocence." I informed.

He had one final question." Why do you know?"

I smiled. This I knew he would ask." When our old master fought Altair he used me to try and kill him. But Altair did not. He only nocked me unconcoius. When I woke the old master was dead and Altair held the treasure. He told me what he was going to do with it." I finished.

Alex nodded- having all his questions answered.

Alex:

He was overwhelmed, his head swimming. But he remained calmed. "I'm glad your both safe." He glared at Ryder.

He stalked over to Velna and pulled her into a tight hug, clinging as if for dear life. "I'm especially glad you aren't hurt." He kissed her passionately.

"I think we all need a good night's sleep." He grinned at Velna. "Perhaps we should disguise ourselves." He smiled.

Dali:

I rolled my eyes. Suddenly, I was reminded of my earlier selfish problem. It hurt, even though it wasn't a big deal. Alex saw the expression and stiffened in Velna's arms. He looked at Ryder. I shook my head, comunicating that it wasn't Ryder.

I sighed. Ryder pulled me close and held me. It made me hurt more. I felt as if I had betrayed him...and he would never forgive me!

Ryder-

Ryder helled onto Dali as close as he could. "Whats wrong?" He asked kissing her cheek, "Your tense." He said rubbing her back hoping to draw some tension from it.

Velna-

Velna relaxed in his arms and just leaned against him, she was tired. "We all need sleep, maybe we should jsut stop at the nearest town? One that is far enough away to stay away, maybe?" She sighed

Dali:

"Nothing." I lied. "Perhaps we should." I said, replying to Velna's suggestion. I kissed him passionately. "I love you." I whispered in his ear. "No matter what happens. I love you. ANything I do to enemies is just business. Nothing more. I love you. Fully and completely." The tears that had been threatening to come finally spilled out. Big tear drops worth.

He looked at me, astonished and worried. "What happened?!"

"NOTHING!" I lied again, my voice cracking.

ALex:

He felt her relax. "Do you know how wonderful it is, to knwo you feel comfortable and safe with me?" he whispered in Velna's ear. "Surely you are not going to deny me that feeling tonight?" he begged, dying to do so much more than talk.

Ryder-

"Stop lying, Dali, something is wrong. I understand, no matter what happens while we are on missions matter to me as long as you are safe, I love you. I want you to be able to trust me and to be able to tell me about things, something happened and I would like to know what it is so I can help you through it. Please, trust me. I'd do anything anything in the world to make you trust me."

Velna-

Velna turned around and looked at him. She pulled his face to her and kissed him passionately. "I love you, Alex." She smiled teasingly, "Now we need to get to that town and find a hotel."

Dali:

I whiped away the tears and sighed. "Um...the guy I got information from...forced me to...to..." I couldn't even say it, it hurt so much! Out of habit I clutched my stomach as the convulsions racked my body. "To...to..." I breathed in so I wouldn't fall apart.

"What, love?" he asked, concerned.

"To do something I had to in my past. One thing that I tried to forget..." I hoped he knew what I was talking about because I couldn't say it!

Alex:

"As you wish. ANd if you ever want me to be good, just say so. I can have a seperate room as well." he said, rather reluctantly. "You smell good, by the way." he smiled. "I'm sure you taste better!"

Ryder-

Ryder pulled her close and kissed the top of her head. "Let it go, alright, sometimes we have to do things we aren't proud of to get the information we need. Don't let it eat you up." He held her out at arms length and smiled, "Now lets get moving so we can find a hotel."

Velna-

Velna fought to keep from frowning, she had given him hte answer he wanted in her own way and he hadn't relized it. She sighed, she'd have to tell him some other way. She kissed him and smiled "I like sleeping in your arms." She smiled, "I feel safe, now please can we go?"

Dali:

I smiled. "Your not mad?"

"No, I'm not."

"Okay. Let's go."

They all headed out and arrived shortly at the hotel.

"Three rooms?" I asked cautiously, watching Alex for his reaction.

Alex:

"Sounds good to me."

He pulled Velna along behind him into the room and laid on the bed. "I'm exhausted."

He smiled at her. "I'm sure you are too. Are you okay? They didn't hurt you, did they?" He asked, worried. His eyes search the skin he could see, looking for any marks or bruises.

Velna-

Velna plopped on the bed next to him, "Nope, they'd be hurting real bad if they had." She smiled. She layed her head on his chest and looked up at the ceiling. "have you always been wiht the brotherhood?" She asked looking at him intently.

Ryder-

Ryder splashed water on his face from the basin in the room when they got there. He turned to Dali and looked at her, "Did they hurt you any other way, hit you or anything?" He asked gently looking at her.

Alex:

He sighed. "Yes...and no. My dad was a master. It was expected for his only child to be part of the brotherhood as well. I was always here, but I didn't start training til I was ten. At the time, I thought it was fun. Now...sometimes I wish I could have a normal life." He looked at her and brushed a piece of hair out of her eyes. "OF course, until now I never had anyone I wanted to settle down with." He smiled, then kissed her passionately.
"Do I have to wait another night, love? Or do I get what I want now?" he asked, teasingly.

Dali:

I laughed. "Of course not. No bruises, I promise. Unless you count emotionally ones." I grimaced and laid down on the bed. "Ugh! I'm exhausted." I closed my eyes. "I'm so glad i can room with you..." The smell of him was delicious, and it was surrounding me now. "I need to change..." I looked at him. "Give me a sec, okay?" I pushed him out, changed, then let him back in.

I was laying on the bed again in no time. "When did you join the brotherhood?" I asked curious. I wanted him to be beside me...draw me into his arms, and keep me there for eternity.

Velna-

Velna looked up at him and frowned "You never stop." She laughed kissing his lips. She smiled, "So I guess I'll just have to give in." She laughed.

****GRRRR I have to go to bed*****

Ryder-

Ryder stepped into another room quickly changing into clean clothes. When he came back he laid down next to Dali and thought about how to answer her question. He pulled her close to him and sighed,

"My whole life I have, least that I can remember." He smiled, "How about you?"

Alex:

"I like the sound of that." He grinned and started playing with her ears. "Where would you like me to start?" he breathed in her ear. He wanted her so much. "You are truly the most beautiful girl in the world! No one can ever own my heart the way you do!" He kissed her lips slowly, drawing it out. "I knew persistance was always a good trait." he teased.

Dali:

I sighed, content. "Nope. Alex...rescued me one night when I tried to get him to...pay for me. He told me I didn't have to live that way and that he had a better solution. So...he took me to the brotherhood, and I started training immediately. Tecnically, I was a bit too old. I was 14 or 15 at the time." I sighed. "But...because of Alex, they took me anyways, and now I'm really good at what I do." I smiled. "Although, sometimes it brings back painful memories." I snuggled into his arms. "Am I allowed to sleep here?" I asked, comfortable...and about to fall asleep.

Adilah-

It was strange seeing the 4 of them in love, yet I knew it was a road that will lead to desaster. It didn't matter though. They were my brothers and sisters and I would protect them. Perhaps that would fill the debt I had to pay for killing my comrads long ago.

Velna-

***Got nothing***

Ryder-

"Of course," He smiled kissing her forehead, he held her close never wanting to let her go. His own eyes slowly started to close giving in to sleep.

Alex:

He woke the next day happy and content. He looked over at Velna's sleeping form. She was so beautiful! He stroked her hair, propped up on one elbow, gazing at her. He promised himself right then was that he wouldn't let anything at all happen to Velna. She was his life. If she got hurt, or died, he wouldn't be able to live! She was his life, his everything. He kissed her forehead, content to be with her for now, even if the next moment she was telling him she didn't want him.

Dali:

I woke up to the comforts of Ryder's arms. It was wonderful, and safe. Protective almost. I moved slightly and his arms clutched at me unconciously. I stiffled a laugh. So much for getting up bright and early. It didn't look like Ryder was going to let me go anywhere. I smiled, happy even after yesterday. Ryder tended to make me feel like that. I didn't know why, but I knew I liked it. I scooted myself closer to him, and breathed in the smell. It was a wonderful aroma. I closed my eyes and smiled, content.
