OOC: Aedomir, methinks Ayudial just led us to a new set of rooms, so you don't need the servant to show you. =P

IC

Lea, having followed Ayudial to the new rooms, was impressed. She was also disappointed--she'd have liked to pocket a few of the things she saw, but sadly she didn't steal from employers. Not until she'd been payed, anyways.

She moved over to the window and looked at the glittering ocean. A frown crossed her face, her eyes suddenly clouded over by an old sadness. She sighed, pressing her hand to the glass.

Feeling the prick of someone watching her, she turned.

Tamaru~~~

Tama smiled at Lea who relized she was watching her. "Are you okay?" She asked, a little worried. That was the problem with Tama; she worried about people to much.

Lea's frown deepened. She wanted to tell Tama to mind her own buisiness, but she knew what her father would say. He'd tell her she needed to stop hidding behind her anger--when you were working with a team it wasn't good to have them dislike you.

She shrugged, letting the frown slide of her face and hide behind a calm expression. "I'm alright. I'm just not used to working with a group."

Tamaru~

"Neither have I." Tama admitted, smiling. "I guess I should leave you to your own buisness and not pry. I'll be going. But, if you need to talk, I'll listen." Tama turned and walked down the hall and into her new room. Tsune growled, grew larger, and jumped on the bed, taking up all the room.

"Move you lug." Tama growled.

"No." Tsune snarled and rolled onto his back. Tama rolled her eyes and trasformed into her wolf form, growing Tsune's size.

"Fight you for the bed." She challenged. Tsune smiled, showing his teeth and lunged at Tamaru, who easily dodged the attack.

In a few minutes Tsune was lying on the ground and Tama on the bed.

"Haha! I won." Tama barked and transformed into human form.

All of a sudden the door swung open and a girl with back hair and strange blue eyes walked in, a small wolf trailing behind her.

"Can I help you?" Tamaru asked in human language.

(Last night)

Kaoli watched the adviser go, her pupils narrowed to slits. Something wasn't right here, it felt too much like a set up. She was distracted from the morose thoughts when she noticed Raku following the wolves. She whirled around and grabbed him by the scruff of his neck hissing as the flames singed her hand.

The pair went into their room and Raku curled up on the bed beside Kaoli. (just so people know Raku's about the size of a bobcat or lynx, but with a leopards build) His voice reached her through the mindlink."Just why ARE we here? I mean besides the obvious."

Sighing Kaoli brushed the hood back exposing her silver hair. "Krekk." The old insult slipped out without her noticing. The Shade. Doesn't that sound like someone we know?"

Raku's head shot up and he stared at Kaoli. "You mean those guys?"

Smiling Kaoli lay down on the bed trying to sleep. "Bingo."

ooc: I am going to assume everyone is in the general room area Ayudial showed us to, if not just say so--though you'll miss the fun. =P

IC

Pens turned to the man standing by the window. "Is everything in place?"
"Yes Advisor."
"Then please begin," the Advisor said. His face was grim, as it always was when he was faced with a task he'd rather not do. He hadn't told Ayudial about his plan, but if she realized what was going on there could be no harm, regardless of how she chose to react.

-^-^-^-^-^-^

The hair on the back of Lea's neck rose, and she drew her long dagger at once. Something was wrong. The walls were moving. Suddenly she threw herself forward, barely missing being grabbed by a giant stone hand. She cursed as the hand disappeared back into the wall. From the directed of the rooms she heard a loud rumbling sound, arriving just in time to see a large three large stone men had stepped out of the walls. Their arms bore long stone blades that looked wicked sharp.

Lea cursed again. She suspected that there was no way out of this 'guest area', not anymore.

OOC: Yay! Here's a little challenge for everyone. They're basically rock, except alive. So if it wouldn't work on a normal rock, it won't work on them. Keep in mind that there might be more, and the walls themselves are dangerous to be near.

Tamaru~

Without a second thought Tama shot out the door and into the other room, Tsune right behind her. "Bahak." She commanded before going in. Tsune sat at the doorway and watched. Tama walked in and stood next to Lea, who cursed under her breath. Tama sighed and transformed into a large wolf, her hackles raised, she lunged at the closest stone figure.

OOC: OK, that's fair enough :-D

"What the...?" Aedomir shot backwards and hit the ground with a thump. His head exploded with pain, and blood began to seep in rivers down his neck. The walls... were... moving!

He shot up and tried to keep his balance, barely concious of the blood dribbling down his overall. "You have to be kidding me!" From the boulders and walls, several shapes began to form. Three large, stone figure had just arisen fom the rocks. He made for the door, and began to pull violently at it. It wouldn't budge. "I'm gonna kill you for this pens!" He shouted, and whipped his sword out.

He slashed it forward, but it just scraped the rocky skin and sent some sparks into the air. "Crap!" Bows emminently wern't going to do the job. One rock man plunged at him, but Aedomir manged to serve beneath it and crash into the wall. He grabbed a boulder and lifted it as high as he could. He threw it with all his might at the nearest, only to smash into it and fall asunder.

"I'm really not in the mood for this!"

<Kaoli>

Just great... What to do against rock golems. They're pretty much impervious to weapons unless you have super strength. That left magic, which I sucked at. Luckily dragon's claws are hard enough to cut through rock like a hot knife through butter.

I lash out at one of the golems, my hand already shifting shape. I managed to hit the thing but the cut was shallow, Damn these guys are fast. I bumped into the wall and when I moved I found myself stuck the stuff was like glue pulling at you.

"No choice." I murmur, pushing my hand out I send a blast of wind across the room cutting one of the golems in half. Unfortunately the wind kept going nearly slicing one of my allies as it went.

((Ayudial))

Ayu watched as stone golems melted out of the wall. She gave a grin, Pens. She decided to play along with the game. She whipped into a sitting position on her chair and stood. She ran away from the chair which was quickly stepped on and shattered by a golem emerging from the wall.

Ayudial's grin was taken from her face, "That bastard better replace my chair."

Lea, Tamaru, Tsune, Aedomir, and Kaoli had already thrown themselves into the battle. "Quick! Everyone, to me!"

No one had listened except for Lea, who had daggers. She quickly found out they were useless. She looked at the scratch on her arm one of the golems gave her. It looked like it had been worse at one time, maybe she healing.

Ayudial shook the thought from her head, "Rally! To me! Do you all want to die?!"

That got their attention. The two wolves arrived first, one of them spoke. "I can't break their flesh." Ayu nodded, "You two will need to be the distractions."

Aedomir and Kaoli came to Ayudial's side. She wouldn't hesitate any longer. She quickly made hand signs with her left hand and thrust the glowing fist into the ground. The same spiderweb pattern appeared and made a sizable dome that kept them safe while they planned.

Ayudial stood, her hand still glowing a fierce blue, "Alright, we need to plan and we need to plan fast."

Her speech was interrupted by the banging of the golems fists on her barrier. Two growls erupted from Tamaru and Tsune.

Ayu winced every time the barrier was hit. She made a few signs with her right hand. The barrier briefly glowed red and the golems backed off, as if shocked.

"As I was saying," she winced again as the barrier was struck, "Tsune, Tamaru, Lea and Aedomir. You guys will be the ones that start shaving these guys down to size."

Aedomir cut in, "I can take them all at once!"

Ayudial glared at him, "Shut up and listen, you fool. I can't hold them off much longer, you all will use group tactics to distract them. Kaoli and I will finish them."

Ayu looked to Kaoli who, in turn, nodded. "Let's do this!" Ayu shouted. She made some signs again with her right hand, it shocked the golems back a bit and she released the barrier. Four distractions for five golems. This would be tough.

Ayudial promptly went over to the one without a distraction. She made signs with both of her hands and prepared to crush the golem with a barrier. She was cut off by the golem who took a side swipe at Ayudial. Ayu flung herself backwards on to the ground. The swing missed her. She sat and made the signs quicker. A spiderweb barrier engulfed the golem. The rock was unable to move very much but it still struggled to do its job. Ayu's muscles in her arms flexed and she closed the barrier tighter and tighter. Ayudial strained and finally closed the barrier. She let her magic go and all that was left of the golem was a pile of rock dust.

She turned to see how the others were doing. Kaoli had taken another down but cutting it into several pieces. The distraction group was weaving around the remaining golems, using feints and quickly dodging away. Ayudial grinned, two down, three to go.

Lea wasn't sure she liked the plan, and she was certain she disliked taking orders. But she knew this youths reputation, and she knew she wasn't going to die here.

Not wanting to lose any of her fine daggers to these creatures, she pulled out of her bag the next best thing.

"Heads up!" She called, speaking the command word and throwing the first of the small blue balls. As it made contact with the golem, it exploded with a flash of blue light.

A second later, something sent her crashing to the ground. She saw that once again, the stone hand was trying to crush her. Cursing, she threw herself out of the way, feeling her ribs screaming--if they weren't broken, they sure hurt.

She had no time to heal! She dodged out of the way again, realizing she'd have to deal with the hand--it wasn't going anywhere.

The battle against the golems ragged on: there were still two left.

~Aedomir~

Aedomir heard the sound of a raging battle from a distant yonder. Emminently, he was not the only to have found a host of golems. They were surrounding him now, each one slowly taking a different angle on Aedomir. The emotionless faces towered over Aedomir.

He leapt between them and ran to the window. He stood there and smiled at the golems. "Come on," he said. "Over here! Come on!" One of the golems ran towards Aedomir. He jumped to the side, clasping his hands over his face. The golem tumbled out of the hoel in the window and fell down helplessly. He heard an explosion and someone scream.

One down, just two left... He reached for an arrow and put it to the notch. The golems ran at him and he rolled over int time to see them both confused, and looking for Aedomir.

He was at the other side of the room, waiting for the boulders to turn. Simultaneously, they did. Aedomir sent the arrow spinning through the air with a twang. The boulders followed its direction, and it the wall just in time for Aedomir to propell himself at the rocks. He threw his hand at one's heda, but immediatley regretted it.

"Ow!"

**Ok, so I dont know what the boldness is for, but here goes nothing. **

Storm-

Storm tried to close her eyes and sleep before there was a sound in the hall way. She got up and peeked out her window, there were stone creatures everywhere and the others were fighting them.

Can't even get sleep around here. She though, she walked out into the hall way and closed her eyes. Rocks were an earthen material. SHe smiled and pulled one of the things towards her. She compressed it and it flew into a million peices. Her head throbbed, rock was harder to control.

Ryder-

Ryder changed to a dragon when he saw the rock things. He didn't really care what they were called, just as long as they died. He shot fire out towards on, but it just dodged it and ran at him. He grabbed it with his claw and smashed it, when he went back to his normal form there was a huge gash on his hand.

"Stupid rock things." He growled looking around at the others. That was all of them, but more could still show up, though he hoped they didn't.

*Hope this works*
